Q: Okay, school is really stressful, DUH!! But this year I've decided no more bad grades for me and I'm starting off fresh this year. I'm going to get good grades, thats my goal. But I don't have the energy or excitement or whatever you want to call it to do my homework and sometimes even school work. I'm very organized. I just want to get good grades. Any ideas? I'm graduating in like almost 2 years. I want to make it the best.

I am trying to do the same thing! I personally think school is stupid.. they say they're trying to prepare us for the real world, but what they're teaching us we'll never use in the real world! But what I'm doing right now is trying to keep a social life, but put aside atleased 2 hours for school. I have a study period, so I have something to lean on when I slack off. But try and MAKE yourself do the work, and just imagine how good you'll feel when you get that report card. After you graduate with great grades, so many options will be open. But this is the key: MAKE yourself do the work.. This might sound kind of stupid, but my biggest motivation was reading "Chicken Soup for the Teenagers Soul." Some of their stories showed me how if you take something for granted, one day it'll be gone. I wish you the best in school!! Maybe one day me and you will be working together finding the cure for cancer! muh ha ha!! Just think about what you can do when you graduate.. But also make leaning fun, might be impossible, but it's worth trying.. Good luck and school, and I hope you find some solid motivation.. everyone is different. Hope I helped! -Ce

ok ..im 14/f and one of my best friends is 14/m..he doesnt go to my school...although lives in the district and i seem him here and there...hes been askin me how to ask a girl out..and i kept telling him to be himself..he just wont listen to me on that part advice...

he kepts telling me to put myself in that position..
- i said "no"
- he said "well its not hard 4 u ur a girl"
- i said "its hard 4 us as well..bc we have to turn down guys we dont like"..

i dk how to tell just to be himself..bc he doesnt want to listen to listen when he knows its true...

and he a few days ago he asked me "how do i ask a girl out and not get turned down??"..and im like idk its not something predictable...

-he goes to a private school..and i go to public school..so i have no clue who this girl is..if i did ..i would have asked her if she liked him..but i dk ....so im pointless at this point...-thx

P.S. i asked him way be4 that.."what would you say if i said i liked you" and he said "i dunno" and said well what would your 1st response be if i said i did and he said "u do?" and i said oooo..then he said something or w/e and i said you scare me sometimes and he didnt say anything for 2 mins and i said..."do you care that you do sometimes" and he said "yea"..and i said "how much?" and he said "______________________________________________________________________________"
and i said "ooohh"..then later on the other night on-line what this girls name is and
he said "marissa"

--- when we got into an little argument over what is harder being a girl or being a guy...and he said we have it easier..and when i said "no we dont bc we have to turn down guys who ask us out, i had to do it 5 times" and he said "w/ whoooo?"..like if he was affaird i was taken or something..ahh it drives me insane..-thx again

Guys send the weirdest signals, don't they? It might be a little bit ackward, but since he's not sending clear signals.. try and make your signals loud and clear! What I mean by that is, innocently flirt with him and see if he responds. If he reacts with weird signals (if you do try and flirt) then try again if you'd like, but this don't make it so obvious. Guys tend to squirm when they get put on the spot. If it doesn't work out, then don't worry about it. You seem like a very nice girl. Good luck! and I mean that too! Q: after u eat ALOT is it bad to make ur self throw up just one time ?? i know i wont get like obsessed, but it it bad for just 1 time?

"Just one time" that's how disorders start. You convince yourself that you haven't done it in a while, so you'll 'only' do it twice. Don't sweat this is if you know you'll never do it again. Maybe you just experimented to see how it worked, or how it felt. If you find yourself getting in to the habit, tell an adult or a close friend. I don't think it's bad if you only do it once.. a lot of people experiment, so you aren't weird or different! It can be REALLY dangerous if you do it a lot, it can seriouly damage important stuff in your body. I really and truly hope you make the right choice! No matter what you do, people will still love you, no matter what! -Ce

Q: y do i get mean questions in my inbox from people on this site...why are people so mean?

There's a lot of mean people in this world. Do you know who sent them? Some people don't try to be mean, but sometimes people don't THINK! If they are truly bothering you, then my suggestion is to make another column.. start off fresh, ya know? I'm sure they didn't purposely TRY to be mean to you, but it justs how you interpret the questions being sent to you. Well, I hop you feel better. There are nicer people in this world! -Ce
