I'm a 18 year old college kid with no income and I can't afford to pay $50+ every month for brand name BC pills. I was wondering if anyone is taking a generic brand for Loestrin 24 Fe and how it is (Any negative side effects, weight gain, etc.) and what the name for it is.
If not for Loestrin 24, just any generic brand BC pills (name please)

If you go to your doctor and tell them you are having income issues and it is a nessecity to be on birth control they will work with you. Me personally I am on generic birth control called Microgestin, to me it works great. No weight gain, no problems the only problem i can say is emotional issues i have the tendency to cry over small issues. Talk to your doctor! hope this helped - Angie
