Iv'e recently noticed that whenever i click on
the Firefox icon on my desktop that Firefox doesn't open up...what should i do about this & why is this happening?

Will uninstalling & reinstalling Firefox
fix the problem or is it more complicated?

First, I would try right-clicking and selecting "open". If that doesn't work, your computer could possibly have a virus, so I would do a virus scan to rule that out. If that's not the problem, it's possible that another program (such as a virus scanner) is preventing firefox from opening.

This site has some steps you can try: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Firefox+ne+d%C3%A9marre+pas

You could try uninstalling then reinstalling firefox, too.
