So I've been seeing this guy for a few months and there is a four-year age difference. I am 18 and he is 22. I've met his parents and a lot of his friends and all of them were super nice, but the other night I asked him how his parents felt about me being young. He said, "My mom hates it" and she always brings up thing I'm still in high school. His dad is fine with it though.
The impression I leave on parents is really important to me. I know it's nothing personal about me, i'm a nice girl, but she can't see past the age thing I guess. This just really upsets me and I don't know what to do. It isn't something I can change. My age is my age. Any tips or comforting words? Thanks! (link)

Forget it. Like everyone else said, age is just a number. Its more of maturity that shows. She said she didn't like the whole age thing, but she didn't say she didn't like you so its not bad. His dad is fine with it though so that should bring you up a little more. Usually dads are harder to deal with than moms so that's pretty cool!
