I really need to start taking my own advice.
advice
My boyfriend and I just recently started messing around. And by messing, I don't mean sex. He's been fingering me, and going down on me very frequently.
My concern is that I've been feeling very itchy and irritated down there, on my inner lips and near the hole.
Is it possible that 3rd base can give me and STD? I've looked for this on websites and I'm just not getting the answer I need.
I have no trouble peeing, and I'm not feeling bumps or having foul odor. It's simply itchy, irritated and a small bit of discharge.
Has anyone ever experienced this? If so, what can I do to prevent whatever it may be?
Thank you in advance.
Just a health concern, make sure your boyfriend has washed his hands recently and make sure he doesn't have long nails when he fingers you. That can lead to some pretty gross problems.
It could just be that your vagina isn't used to being rubbed and touched in that way. The quick hand movements could just be irritating the skin. I'd recommend a lotion and changing your underwear frequently to keep things clean. Be sure to pee after any sexual activity and wash your vagina thoroughly in the shower. Also, the way you keep your pubic hair could cause the problem, if you shave it completely and then he fingers you that can lead to irritation. If that's the problem I'd either recommend just kidding the vagina lips just trimmed or using a lotion especially made for your bikini area to soothe the skin. I believe Sally Hansen might make a lotion like that.
If the problem gets worse I'd recommend taking a break from fingering or seeing a doctor. I don't think you have an STD, the only things you get is like herpes.
Good Luck :)
(Rating: 5) After reading your response, I looked up herpes. I found that the first out break of blisters comes within 8 days. I have no blisters. What I think may be causing this is what you were saying about fingering, cleaning, and peeing. Maybe I'm blowing this a little out of proportion, but you can see why I'd be scared. Thank you.
