About Psycotheis

Life is full of hardships and though being as young as I am, I've dealt with a lot over my time. I'll admit, I've never had a death of a loved one, getting stung by a bee, had cancer, or died and revived so I can live to tell about it, I still have some know hows on how to deal with it all. I know things here and there that have nothing to do with anything but it helps in times of need. Its all a matter of paying attention and figuring out what could have, would have, or should have been done.

I can give great advice sometimes, buts a matter of fact that you can't just read it and go,"That's a great idea, I might do that..." Take into account that advice is only as good as the person who uses it, not the person who gives it...
The golden moments in the stream of life rush past us and we see nothing but sand; the angels come to visit us, and we only know them when they are gone.
George Eliot
English novelist (1819 - 1880)

Character is what God and the angels know of us; reputation is what men and women think of us.
Horace Mann
US educator (1796 - 1859)

Be not forgetful to entertain strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
Hebrews 13:2

We are, each of us angels with only one wing; and we can only fly by embracing one another.
Luciano de Crescenzo

A man does not have to be an angel in order to be a saint.
Albert Schweitzer
French philosopher & physician (1875 - 1965)

God always has an angel of help for those who are willing to do their duty.
T. L. Cuyler

Hey everyone...one of my closest friends has been missing school lately and i asked him about it. He told me he was having panic attacks, etc. and he had to see a shrink. He also told me that his mom thinks he is going to kill himself because his brother caught him trying to do it, he said he went on a balcony at his house and was going to jump but his bro saw him and said whats going on. He told me the suicide thing happened a couple monts ago and I am just reallly worried. I am becoming depressed thinking about what would happen if he did kill himself. he is such a nice guy and is happy all the time- i just dont get it. Why do you think he told me he tryed to kill himself? What should I do? Im really upset-please any advice would help!

He most likely told you because he wants you especially to help him deal with this. He know he will probably do it again. And by telling you, he knows someone knows and will help him deal. The best thing to do is get him happy and make him realize the greatest moments that life can offer. The more he realizes that death isn't the best option, the more likely he wont go suicidal again.

Signs of being suicidal tend to be depressed, anti social, thoughts of suicide, selling of personal objects, etc. If you notice these signs, you need to approach him immediately. Don't think it will subside in time, because it won't. Even with a shrink, you need to get to him and get others to get to him as well. The more your in his life and the happier you make him become, the less suicidal he gets.
