I know just what you mean, making friends can be really difficult but you will defidently make one your first or second day if your really open with talking to people,almost everyone gets really shy at first when they talk to new people so you could try asking more questions to who ever you meet, and be happy but not to happy, you dont want them thinking your annoying. haha, you could be like "hey whats your name?" and you could talk about things you have in common or classes you both have or basiaclly anything. most meetings are a little akward but the trick it mainly keeping the convorsation going. i really hope something helped. good luck. :]]]
