I think I am scared to have a boyfriend. This has happened like two times already, I will really like a guy, he will like me to, we will talk and hang out then when he asks me out, I say no. I don't know why I am scared, but I think one reason is my family. Like I don't want to tell them cause I will be embarassed or something. What should I do? I really need to get over this or I will never have a boyfriend and i will keep hurting the guys I care about! (link)

Aw i know exactly what you mean! i used to be that way. You could just be scared of commitment. You dont have to tell your family right away when you have one. Just start by telling your sibling, preferably a sister *if you have one* and then work your way up to tellin your mom. or just start out by telling your mom and then she can talk to your dad. You have nothing to be worried about once you tell atleast one person in your family it gets easier. I was embarrassed at first to but now im ok with it. You dont even really have to tell them but itd make things easier if you did.
