The 2 troubles I'm having with in volleyball are Diving and Blocking... so I need advice on that
Diving- is there any way to prevent floor burns and make it easier for my arm to slide on the floor? How do you rollover on your shoulder blade when you've made the pass?
Blocking- I am scared of getting hit in the face, any advice on how to solve this? I also close my eyes when I jump, how do I keep my eyes open?
Thanks, you're all amazing (link)

hey ok. for diving. there really isnt much you can do about the floorburns. ask any volleyball player...they're always going to happen. but just be careful of the way you hit the ground cuz you can dive and not skid your arm on the ground. and as for the roll...you kinda have to flip to one side then basically to a backwards sumersault. its hard at first but when you're going fast it really works well.
for blocking...9 times out of 10 you arent going to get hit in the face. unless your like 10 feet tall then the only thing making it over the net is your arms and hands, so they are what is going to get hit. just make sure that when you are blocking a ball you push your hands over and snap your wrists so that the ball doesnt come down on your side cuz thats when you run the risk of getting hit in the face. and you shouldnt close your eyes because you really most liekly wont get hit. its just something you have to get used to.
