Greetings people! Name's Greg, I'm 27 years old and a very proud member of the United States AirForce. I am currently stationed at Peterson AFB here in Colorado Springs, CO. but originally from Mississippi. I can offer fantastic advice on most any subject, but I'm particularly good with relationships (in any capacity), cooking, and social settings. Any questions are welcomed!

hi!! okay, so i want your honest opinion and what you would do for yourself, not the same old, just go for it and if he says no, then that's the worst that can happen.....i need a REAL solution. (Please ^_^ )

so, i REALLY like this guy, (i even dream that we r dating sometimes--scary huh??) but i don't know if he knows i exist...literally. He's a sophmore, and i'm a freshman. He's on the basketball team (he's been on varsity since frosh year), so he's really good. I am on the volleyball team. He is 6'8", i am 5'2". HUGE difference. I live in a place where the year and hight make a pretty big differnce. :( so, what to do. I've like this guy for over a year, but i don't know if he's noticed me becuase....well....i'm shy, SHORT, younger, and well, not in his circle of friends (although my bro is the manager of the bball team he's on) (link)
First of all sweetie, don't be ashamed about your height AT ALL. I'm 27/m 6ft tall and I abolutely love "short" women! Most men do, trust me on this. You have a unique situation in this case, and a good opportunity; I'll tell you why... It's a HUGE turn-on to men to be approached by women; it doesn't happen to us very often because women are scared to be seen as the "aggressive" type. My advice to you is to make the first move; if he's a decent guy then he should respond warmly. You have a common interest in sports, so there's your ice-breaker. I understand you're shy, so an easy way to work around that is to do something nice for him like hold a door open or pick up a paper he dropped, something very subtle so you won't seem aggressive but you'll immediately be his center of attention, if only for a minute.
