about

I'm a mom of two, who has had her share of problems, and likes to help others with their own. I love helping people, and knowing that I can make a difference. I can't help with everything, but I'll always try to make people smile and just feel good about themselves. I've had more than my share of family drama and problems; what with my parents coming from two different and clashing cultures. I've also moved around a lot and had to deal with changing schools and all the trauma of making new friends and fitting in. I'm good with questions about friends, relationships (love, family..you name it), tough decisions, technology, and other weird random questions.
I'm a great listener, but I make sure to understand both sides of the story as well.

Im getting contacts in a couple days (monday) and i was just wondering if anyone can tell me anything about them. IS it hard to put them in? Can they actually like slip down in your eye where you cant get them out? how long can you wear them? What will I have to do when i go to get them? Any tips or anything would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. :)

I remember when i first got contacts. It took me about 2 weeks to get the hang of taking them out. getting them in was a piece of cake, but it wud take hours for me to take them out. don't give up though, because no matter how longs it takes you will get the hang of it. I know they say you cant swim or take showers with your contacts in, but I've done both. the only thing is when you're swimming keep ur eyes closed or where goggles, otherwise your contact cud float out of your eye (which wouldnt be too good). You really shouldnt sleep with them in, but if you happen to fall asleep dont worry about it too much. Your eyes will only burn for a short while and your contacts will feel very dry (its happened to me once or twice).
They cant slip into your eye or anything, although sometimes it mightr get stuck in your upper eyelid, just close your eye and maybe rub your eyelid, and it shud come back into place.

Oh and nu7mber one tip...always make sure your hands are clean and your nails are short...scratching your eye is VERY painful.
