Q: Today i went to a meeting at school for anyone interested in being on the cross country team next year. a couple of my friends are on the team so i thought i'd go and be on the team next year. The coach said we need to be ready August 7th to run 7 miles. I came home and couldnt even run one! i'm determined to do it, but i need help thinking of a workout plan, any ideas?
i LOVE to run. i was in cross country. when i first started out, it was hard. i ran 1 mile and almost puked my brains out! gross sry, lol! alright before you run, drink a lot of water it helps your body function more while you are running a lot. work out. im not saying go to a gim for 15 hours and work out like crazy! im saying do a couple of crunches and push ups before you run! it always gets me pumped up. get some sleep before you run because your body is going to be worn out and you have a lot of food in your system and it slows you down. the best time to run is in the morning, have a small snack like fruit or something but DONT i mean DONT drink orange juice or eat oranges before you run or you'll be running to the bathroom. ive learned that thanks to my cross country team! if you dont like someone tell them to drink a lot of OJ before you run, good blackmail, ahah. just make sure to stretch drink lots of water exersize and just have fun! hope i helped~
