about

Hey everyone! My name is Kristen, I'm 20 and I'm a college junior studying pharmacy. I've been blessed with a really good life, and part of the reason for that is because I've learned to see GOOD in everything that happens to me.

I love giving advice, and I've been told that I do a good job at it, but I'll let you decide! Feel free to ask me anything... don't be shy, that's why I'm here. I've been through a lot... moving from one country to another, leaving and finding new friends, break ups, boys, middle school, high school, college, self esteem issues... pretty much most things that people need help with.

I usually spend a good amount of time answering your questions, so I would really appreciate it if you leave me an honest rating along with some feedback (good or bad!) It really does help me improve my advice... and in the end, that's good for YOU! Talk to ya soon! :)

(17f)I have the option to move with my dad to a new house in a new town and i'm not sure what to do. I don't have any really good friends anymore. My best friend just moved away so i dont really have anyone here that i am going to miss. It would be great to meet new people and to make new friends. I'm nervous though because I would have to start at a completely different school. i won't know anyone there. What if I'm a loner the first few days and nobody worth liking doesnt like me.. (hope that doesnt sound rude)what do you think i should do??

hey! well ive moved a lot of times... 8 years ago i moved to the US from a completely different country and i didn't even know english. the point is, i did it and now i have a lot of friends and i'm really happy, so you deffinitely have nothing to worry about. if you have nothing worth staying for, then why not go out and meet new people? you might like it more, but you will never know unless you go for it and take a chance. after all, most really good things that happen to people wouldn't have happened to them if they didn't take chances! if you move to the new school and find that you really really hate it and don't think that you will ever adjust, then you could always transfer back to your old school right? i would assume that you can, but you should double check just in case. regardless, i think you will do just fine! it's normal to be nervous and anxious, but if you feel like you need to start over and meet new people, then you have nothing to lose if you move.

bottom line is, if you want to move because you aren't happy with the way things are now, then go ahead and do it! don't let being nervous stop you. but if you are happy where you are and don't see a reason to change things, then stay there! it's your choice... but don't let your nerves get to you and stop you from altering your life if that's what you want! i promise you you'll be fine either way! :) good luck!! let me know if you need more help!
