I've just been prescribed one of the antibiotics that is known to affect how well the contraceptive pill works. That's no problem as i can use a condom for the next few weeks but something's worrying me- i know sperm can live for 5-7 days inside a woman and i had sex whilst on the pill without a condom two days ago. Therefore if i start taking my antibiotics now is it a possibility that i might get pregnant as the pill won't be able to do anything about the sperm that's inside me at the moment??? I can't find out the answer to this anywhere on the internet!! Thanks guys and please only answer if you have experience with this!! (link)

Please do not leave advice if you do not know what you are talking about. It is a widely known fact that antibiotics affects the efficacy of the contraceptive pill and antibiotics do not kill sperm- in fact they can have the opposite effect! That was my problem!! Thanks :)
