umm i heard rumors that limewire is going to be shut down becuase the government heard about it...is this true? if it is, when will this go in effect and what will happen? thanks ♥Nellie (link)

that rumor has been going on for years. after the gov't decided it would be illegal to download songs at no cost since it was losing money to the artist and stores they said they would be cracking down on people using websites to get free music. they also said they would be giving heavy fines to people. i dont think you have anything to worry about but getting caught. hope i helped
