Ok girls say they want nice sweet guys because they want someone thats going to take care of them etc etc (that bit's the obvious part). However because these guys are nice and sweet quite often they're easy to get with- there's no chase if you see what i mean.
So bad guys are perceived as being more interesting and more often than not theres more of a chase. Its all about the playing hard to get thing. Nice guys never seem to play hard to get and i think that's got a lot to do with it. Girls of a certain age also like being with the bad guy because they think it makes them look cool and they're in with the right crowd. But then they turn round and say that they love the nice sweet guys because all the movies show that and deep down thats what they want as well.
I can see why guys get so confused!
