Q: I am a tennis player and i play everyday except friday(sometimes) and I am on my school tennis team.. but my shoulder has been killing me!.. If I hit hard it pops.. and when I put my hand on it and move it I can feel my bones rubbing together!.. what is it?.. Is it serious?.. Are there anythings that may help the pain?
Your cartilidge may be deteriorating from doing the same swinging motion over and over again. I don't know, my shoulder did that during the marching band season, but that was just because I was losing some weight rapidly and gaining muscle. It may just be that your body is growing in a lot of different ways, and your growth plates are getting messed up. Whatever, go to a doctor and he or she will be able to give you a better answer.

Thanks!

dwarp
Hiya! I'm dwarp. A crazy 19 year old from Chicago with too much time on her hands.I started this column when I was about 14, I think and I keep coming back. My friends tend to come to me for advice, so I've gotten pretty good at answering most problems. I'm a crazy Greek vegetarian, and yes, I have seen My Big Fat Greek Wedding. It's exactly like my family, so I am really great at answering questions about insane families. I study political science and international studies and I like to learn languages. I speak English, French, German, a bit of Greek, and I'm learning Italian next semester. I've had lots of weirdo love/sex-life experiences, so I'm pretty knowledgeable in that area. Ummm.....ask me anything!
Peace!
