advice

Why aren't you supposed to do sit-ups/crunches everyday? How many should a beginner do? Any other ideas to tone your stomach?

When you begin you need a day in between exercise to let the muscle form/tone, that's what I've read anyway. I'm not sure how many situps/crunches to do everyday, I think 3 repitions of 10. I do reverse crunched to help tone my tummy.
