I was wondering if it was ok to go shopping with your mom every now and then. Cause i go up to Pennsylvania every summer and Christmas to see my mom and i am 14. We always go shopping together because i dont have friends up in Penn. cause im only staying there for just a few weeks, so i was wondering if its strange or immature or something just cause you go shoppin with your mom for clothes and coffee, please, i really want peoples opinions! thanks so much! Sweetie! It's totally okay! Your 14 and I know it seems dorky (I felt the same way) but the older you get the younger you act! lol. For example I went through a phase where I would be like "ewwww family....no I don't hang out w/ them" but the older I got the more I realized hanging out with your family is cool. Me and my mom set aside one day a month where we have like a day of beauty. We go get our nails done, shop, grab some food, go to a hair salon, whatever we feel. Its great to spend time w/ her b/c everything I'm going through she's been through before and she can help me through it! Now that I'm older we dont have time to sit and talk anymore and we argue alot but I really look forward to hanging out w/ her! One of these days you'll understand! But no, your not dorky! Just remember your mom brought u into this world.....she can take you out. lol. Take care! -Sonnie
