i have two best friends. one i've known since middle school...so that's about 4 yrs now. and now i also have a new best friend...whom i met in high shcool. they're both wonderful and i'm so glad i have them but there's one problem. they can't stand each other for anything! when i'm with one, she's talking shit about the other. and when i'm with the other one, she's talking shit about her. they both want me to take their own sides and be more loyal to one then the other. ahhhh! what do i do!?!??! oh thats a tough one! You have to get them to both understand that they are both ur best friends, or close friends and that they can't keep talking to you about the other one. Make them see how hard of a position they are putting u and if they respected you and want to continue the friendship they wouldn't do that to you. Tell them they have the right to dislike the other person but they can't involve you in it and that its' really dificult for u. They also shouldn't make u take sides. So baiscally, if u explain all of this to them they should understand and stop making you take sides. Hope this helped and good luck! :)
