my friends' mother isn't the nicest person in the world, she's verbally abusive and just slapped her across the face..now my friend is considering running away and i think she's overreacting..but i really don't know. is she overreacting? what should i say to convince her to stay? ..or what? (link)

talk it out with her and try to convince her to saty but if she still wants to run away, hepl her do it SAFELY (but you may get blamed...). and if i were in her situation i would run away too, so i dont think she is over reacting, as long as she plans to come back....

Three girls. Used to be friends with them. Now I'm not (long story) and they're bitching about me behind my back. The part that makes it upsetting is that act really lovely to me when I'm around... and I'm a trusting kind of person. It took ages for me to believe it.
Would you please tell me what to do? Is it better to...
1)...confront them, and a)hold a grudge b)forgive them OR
2)...ignore them, and a) hold a grudge b)forgive them.
3)start a hate campaign.

i would confrint them, and let them tell their side of the story. if it sounds belevable and you want to saty friends then fine, but if the try to lie, hold a gridge and stay away from em.

well, it varries from person to person, but most people like poeple who are trustworthy, careing, kind, truthfull ect. alot of people like friends that heve some of the same interests as them, so if you want to be good friends with them start by finding somthing that both of you like. hope i helped.

In elementary school I was a straight-A student. Suddenly in the 7th grade, everything's different. I am soooooooo disorganized! I always get the format for the HW wrong or don't understand the assignment.
I just got a progress report:
English A-
Science B
Math F
History N/A
Spanish C
This is sooooo embarassing! An F! Isn't it awful? I failed a quiz, got a B+ on my exam, and failed all of my homework, usually because it isn't in the correct format (the progress report came out before I got my exam back). I feel so terrible---I go to a private school and everyone gets A's! Am I stupid or something because I'm so disorganized? How can I be more organized? About how much more of the 1st quarter do 7th graders have? 7th graders, could you give me an idea of when it ends???

dont worry your not stupid. 7th grade is supposed to be harder than 6th. your not always supposed to get A's. ask one of your friends to help you with the formats or just ask your teachers. you could also ask them if there is any way to make up for your work so you could bring up your grades. in my school 10 weeks=1 quarter. and if you need help with math go to www.math.com or www.webmath.com. hope i helped,

find out the password to the master control screen and get in, then change it. or you could ask your parents to unblock some sites that you want.if this didnt help message me or somthing because i know alot about computers. Hope i could help

ok so tomorrow i am goin to the mall to meet up with me boyfriend that i havent seen in 3 weeks.. my friend offered to take me because my BEST friend doesnt like my boyfriend.. i would let her take me except see i mostly will be all over my boyfriend and stuck.. nothin sexually but like me and him want to go to the movies and hang out you noe. and i dont know if i should let her take me because then she will feel all left out and sad and then on the way home she will most likely call me a hoe or something like that because the way i acted. even though i noe she doesnt mean it but still.. my question.. should let her take me to the mall or should i walk there. it is about a 20 minute walk but it isnt difficult.. I'm having a few of my close friends over tomorrow, about ten or so of them. They will be staying all day, but the thing is, I don't have any ideas whatsoever on what to do. It will be raining all day so we can't really walk anywhere and no one is really bringing money to go to the movies. I have a lot of movies in the house, but they are all horror movies, which my friends aren't into. Suggestions on what to do will be appreciated. If it helps, I am seventeen (although the people who are coming aren't all the same age) and both guys and girls will attend. (link)

go with your friends to rent a movie, make nachoes or somthing and watch some movies. at knight you could make up random stories or somthing...if you have any game systems you could play those too.you also could call one of your friends and ask them what you should do. im sure they would know of more stuff....hope i helped

ok well i've had like these little white worms come out of my butt for a little while. i've bin too scared to tell my mom. i was planing to tell her tomorrow while we are going shoe shopping. but i dont know how to come out and say it. so how can i say this to her? and if there is away to get rid of them on my own can someone tell me how? tell your mom!! just walk over to her and say "mom, when you get a chance can i talk to you privatly?" then talk to her and tell her. i think i have heard of it before, and it is nothing you should be ashamed of, but if you let it be for a while it could cause problems. tell your mom to make a doctors apointment and it should be cleard up soon. good luck!

I don't know if I have overactive bladder or not. I go to the bathroom once in the morning, 2-3 times at school, and maybe 3 times after school. Sometimes I get a little bit of pee in my underwear, or I leak when I can't use the bathroom right away. At first I just thought it was discharge (I've had my period for almost three years) but I get it a lot now. I don't know what's wrong with me... any answers please? Oh yeah, please don't say to ask my doctor (because I will), just give me an opinion on what you think.

it does sound like overactive bladder to me, so until you see your doctor try to use the bathroom when you need to, even if you have to just walk out of class when the teecher wont let you(i would only recomend doing that if you really had to go) or you could put some pads on to stop it from getting all over you...hope this helped

tell one of the nurses or one of the doctors, they deal with this all the time so dont worry they'll take care of it.

Ok so there is this girl on my bus named jessica. And were arent friends or anything. And she told the kid across from me that her stepfather beats her. So me and the other kid decided that we would tell the guideance counseler about it. Well the other kid goes to Vo-tech during the day so he wanted me to tell the office. So I did. Well somehow Jessica found out that I was the one who told and now shes mad at me. She is being really nasty to me what should i do? I mean I was only trying to help (link)

well i think jessica didnt want anyone to find out about it no doubt, but when it is all over i think she will realize you did the right thing (if it was actually true) if it wasnt true...then she will be mad, so i would be ready. but in my opinion, and in many others, you did the right thing.good luck!

my best friend just told she fancies bob but she dosent know i fancy him too.
and she is also coming to this freshers party only because she knows im going and so is bob

you should become good friends with him, then tell him how you feel. dont ask him out...just tell how much you like him. let him decide if he wants to go out, if he does, he will ask. but keep in mind, he might be scaired too, and thats why you need to tell him how much you like him.

Alrighty then, my SS/ELA teacher is completley crazy. He makes random body language gestures, his accent cycles from British to Austrailian to Gay to German to Russian. He's probably the most unintentionally funny people I've ever met, and I can't help but laugh at his antics.
However, he fails people for laughing (he calls it disrespecting) anyone in his class (including him) 3 times. So, any way that I can keep from laughing? (link)

For my English class, I'm supposed to select three current issues, and talk about each one. It's a research essay, where I'm going to need a quote for each issue as well.
The problem is...I'm not into current issues at all. I don't read the news, and I'm not properly educated. The examples she gave us were: racism, poverty, the war in Iraq, domestic or foreign terrorism, international relations, obesity, global warming, the national debt, ect). All of these political things, I would NOT be able to talk about. I know nothing about them. So I'm thinking of picking easier topics, such as racism...and maybe 2 others. I can think of Same-sex marriage and Abortion to write about, but I don't want to do either of those. Does any one have any other ideas on easy current issues that an uneducated person like me could write about? It doesn't have to be 'school appropriate' because I am out of high school and in college. I just have no idea what issues are going on in America, except for of course the war, but I don't want to write about that. Thank you very much for any suggestions. (link)

I would probabley go with Hurricane Rita/Katrina. There are so many sites with info on them it would be hard to not know alot about it. For the last one, I would make a list of all the things you know is happening in the world, forgetting about the essay. Pick the one you know the most about, or go reaserch one that you like! There are tons of sites with current issues on them. If this doesn't help, let me know, I love to write and I am somewhat into politics and current issues, so i'd be glad to help.
