I met this boy in third grade, we became good friends, who knew we would still be friends all the way until 11th grade, best at that. Now, I tell him most things I wouldn't tell my girlfriends because they like to gossip, with him, I know he will keep everything to himself if I tell him. He tells me about this girl he likes, he sends me songs that he writes for his guitar, we are both in the marching band and we talk alot after practice, we text a lot, we talk about anything too, private life, our brothers, our parents, our plans for the week. We know pretty much all there is to know about a friend, which is weird because he doesn't open up easily. When he's with his guy friends, he laughs alot and he talks kind of loud, when he's around me, after band and we talk, his voice is kinda hushed, like he's afraid to talk to loud. My friend has problems with his brother, always thinking that his older brother is better than him, so every time I say something about his brother he says "yea, and then there's me.. the reject" so then I would continue to tell him everything he is good at. All of our friends think we are madly in love and we need to be a couple ASAP. Everyday after band, I give him his favorite pack of crackers, it's kinda our thing, everyone thinks it means more than just giving him food. Weird. Anyway, the reason I am writing this is because there is one thing that stands out for me, in all of the years we were friends, he and I have never hung out outside of school/school activities. Why do you think that is? I'll have bonfires and he will always make up excuses "Oh, I won't know anyone there." or "Oh, I'm busy, I have to practice the solo." I'm begining to think that it's because he'd be ashamed to be around me, at my house or anywhere outside of school ): My mom says it's probably because he's nervous, because he might like me as more than a friend and he won't know how to act outside of school. I don't think he likes you more than a friend.
He lets his guard down around you and tells you things he can't tell others. He might be afraid that others will see his vulnerable side if you're around. Other people know him as one person, and you know him as another. He probably wants to maintain his image.

sounds like you're doing something to drive girls away.
If you want a girl to like you, first you have to recognize that you're doing something wrong. Are you too nice? Girls HATE guys that are too nice. Now, don't misinterpret me. I'm not saying you should be rude to girls. However, you seem desperate. Girls run away from guys that reek of desperation and that follow them like puppies, begging them for a date.
Pick up lines and cheesy compliments don't work. They make you wound unnatural and rehearsed. Be yourself.
Don't shower a girl you don't know very well with lavish gifts and compliments.
It's NOT attractive.
Get a haircut or buy yourself some new clothes. It might raise your self-esteem. Girls LOVE guys with self-confidence.
You can't force girls to like you either. If no one wants to date you, no one wants to date you. Unless you want to take the steps to fix your behavior, you won't get any girls.

Hi I just got my first period and I need to start using tampons because pads arent working well for me and I dont want period stains at school! So anyways I FINALLY figured out where to put a tampon in and I can get it in now but Ive tried twice but every time I put one in it feels weird and when I bend over it hurts. And when I stand up I can kinda feel it in there and it feel's like it's getting like slowly pushed out and it's the kind of feeling you get when your at the bottom of a deep pool and your blew out all your air and your just sitting there with no air if you know what Im talking about kind of a weird squeezing feeling? Nothing is wrong with you. It sounds like the tampon isn't far in enough. If it's in far enough, it shouldn't feel like it's coming out. You shouldn't really be able to feel it at all.

First ask yourself whether you're just appreciating that a guy is attractive, or whether you're having sexual feelings as well.
Lots of guys confuse finding other guys attractive with being gay. You're only in high school. Your hormones are all over the place. Let things settle down and you'll know your sexuality for sure.
I hate it when you call a girl and the both of you talk then she says after a while that she has to do something and she'll call you back. And it's not like you said ANYTHING creepy or weird to freak her out and you never hear from her until the next time that YOU call HER back. Is there something weird about that or am I just tripping? lol
Phone calls should be short and sweet. Keep the subject light, and don't keep her on the phone for a long time. YOU should be the one to tell her you have to go first, even if you really don't.
Honestly, if girls are ending the conversation first and not calling you back, they probably don't want to talk to you.

so my boyfriend has this friend who used to cut herself and now she has scars on her arms from where she used to do that. she was wondering if there might be any way to remove them? if scar remover would work? if so, which one would work best? any ideas?

Because scars from self-mutilation are usually not very deep, they will go away with time as new layers of skin surface.
look, all my friends cut them selfs all the time right, and i have always known it was wrong!
but one day i was so very low and the only thing i could think of doing was cut myself, i did not use a knife or anything that sharp for that matter and the cut was not that deep,i thought it would heal soon after i did it,
but its turned into a scar :(

but the scars are on the upside of my arm near the bottom they have healed and they are sorta white ish you know.

Scars that turn white like that will fade completely with time. Be patient and don't pick at it.

Take a trash bag and pick up all the trash in your room and throw it out. Then separate any clothes that are out by clean and dirty. Put away the clean clothes and do a load of laundry. Smooth out your bed, sofa, or any other furniture you have. Organize items on all the flat surfaces. Take a vacuum and vacuum all the noticeable dust and dirt. Put things like shoes and bags lying around into the closet. Listening to music makes it go by faster and will motivate you to clean more quickly

Phew. And I am a fifteen year old girl. Okay so Jake and I dated for seven months, but he was abusive, verbally and sometimes physically as well. Ok I'm really close with this guy let's him Sam. We met sophomore year in high school,I hated him a first and then i liked him. Then like me and him just became best friend and we talked about everything and i love him so much but never ever told him,so he gets a girlfriend senior year lets call her anna. Of course shes the captain of the cheerleaidng squad and the two of them share the love of country music. But this girl is totally bipolar and always wants sam's attentiona all the time and shes is insanely jealous. I consider myself to be straight. I've never seen a woman and said, "Wow, I'd really like to have her in bed!" or anything of the sort. I've been sexually active since I was in my early teens though but only with men.
Now, I have married off and am very happy with my husband. The other day we were talking about sex. He said, "You know, most straight women don't lick their fingers...it's pretty out of the norm..." That began a discussion all on it's own.

Ok, so me and my friend went to this hangout spot and my friend brought his girlfriend with him. He also asked his girlfriend to bring a friend for me.
