Here's my problem:
My best friend has a new boyfriend and she is spending 24/7 with him (almost literally, this is college and people can do that easily)!
He is a really great guy: he is taking things slow physically, he does not seem like the jealous type (I am a guy, not a girl, so this is important) ect... However, I rarely see her anymore (as opposed to spending probably half our free time together before this guy came along). I have lots of other great friends, I date a lot of girls, and I have a great social life, but I really miss my best friend.
I have talked with her about it, hinting how hurt I am, but she just makes excuses, says that eventually (months down the road!) things will tone down a little (but still not get anywhere near normal!!) ect... If I were a little younger, I would just wait this out for a few weeks, but we are getting to the age (19) where these things can begin to last a LONG time. I feel like once its over, I can let her know, not only how bad for romantic relationships this sort of thing can be, but how much it hurt me as a friend. I trust that after that, she won't do it again in her next relationship. However, it seems like it could possibly be months or even years and until the relationship is over, I doubt I can make her see the light before then. What do I do?

PS if you think what she is doing is ok (I think its very wrong on two levels: hurting your friends AND unhealthy relationship) it is interesting to note that HE is still spending HOURS EVERY DAY with his friends, she just tags along
PPS I'm not close to my family, and I don't value significant others much (I enjoy the time with them, but I know it doesn't last). Therefore, needless to say, friends are far more important to me than they are to most people. Hello, how long have you guys been bestfriends and has she had previous short relationships whil you two were close? Well I can tell that she has a great liking for this guy which is why she is fpending mostly all of her time with you. I do not agree with the way she is trating you by not giving you as much attention and spending time with you when that is what she used to do, but you have to realize when a girl finds a great well good guy they tend to cling to them and want to spend every waking moment with him. It is really hard to balance two strong relationships when you are basically torn between the emotions of the two..you have a totally different realtionship with her than he does even though it may seem similar. If you have already talked to her about how much this is hurting you and she hasn't come around I am pretty sure she doesn't notice how much it really is hurting you emotionally. I think she thinks you are just not use to not being able to spend time with her. I think you should try to have one more heart to heart talk with her about your feelings and maybe she will begin to get the picture, if not then it will still take her time to balance the two realtionships but if not then she might not be worth your friendship if she is choosing him over her when you two have a strong relationship as well. Another factor you may not see is that you do not value significant others like you do friends while she does, having a significant other is very important to a girl, it brings joy to a girl in a different amount of ways. Does she seem like she values friendship as much as you,you seem to know her pretty well, like does she seem like the type of person to blow you off for a new beau? Hello,communication is a big issue in this situation,I am not sure what is going on wiht you and your family but if you all sit down and have a heart to heart about this issue(s) you may have a good chance of sticking around, I am sure all you of you guys can succumb to some sort of aggrement and or compromise, in order to work things out you must put everything on the table I know this will ne difficult but it is worth a shot and will be well worth it. Education is very improtant and since you missed days previous to this event it is vital that you atleast try to talk about it,if you have no clue how to comfront your parents regarding this issue you can send me a message and I can be of aid to you in any way possible, son't hesitate to ask me. If there is no chance of you staying at home with your parents all you can do is possibly call the school couselor or attendance office and tell them that you are having family issues and can't make it to school this way the school will know in advance,that is a pretty hard step to take though, you can email the teacher directly and if you are seriously behind in the class you can explain vaguely what is going on and that you cant make it to school. Also if you have to go to your sisters you can complete or try to complete the project in time to possibly get the assignments to school whether it be by your sister or some other way.There always many ways to work out issues but its hard finding the right way:). i am torn and have a really big decision to make. i am a sophomore in college.. a college which is 4 hours from my home. its hard being away from home because i love my family..and have an amazing job which i love, and gives me so much experience for my future career. i cannot decide whether i should stay at my current school, or transfer back home and go to the school near my house. they are equal in tuition, going to the school at home would mean i have a job, dont have to pay for housing or food, only tuition. staying at school out here will mean i may have a job (still looking for one), so much freedom (living in a house with my best friends) and i know this is the only time in my life that i will be able to party whenever i want and live with friends..basically not alot of responsibilities. i am not sure which is the best decision. if i transfer, there is a chance that all my credits will not transfer, and i will be stuck in school for longer. anyone have any advice? or even just your opinion.. put yourself in my shoes lol. id like to know what you would do. thanks

Hello, It is best to weigh the pros and cons and whichever decision had the most that is the one you should go with,go with your instinct, your instict is usually right...i would definitley say the transfre would be the best choice but the nontransferrable cradits would be completley and utterly devastating, you should research alittle more to see if your credis will actually transfer,what gave you the idea that they wouldnt?no one wants to start from scratch when it comes to school and there career,its a major waist of time,money, and energy.School is the vital factor in this decision so if you think there is even the slightest chance of the credits not transferring you should stick where you are at and make the best of it while you can. You have plenty of time to work and you can always visit your family, after all you will be living on your own maybe pretty far from your family so its good to have your independence and freesomd right now.Enjoy yourself and try your best, your future is the main factor in this decsion. Hmm just take it slow donr try to rush into a relationship, but try to be more open and direct so he wont think you are shy..once he really gets to know you he will know that you arent shy at all and this will be no problem. Text him ocassionaly but also give him a chance to text or call you first to see if he actually enjoys talking with you. so im 18/f looking to get a new job because the one i have now i barely get any hours and business is soo slow [im a waitress & have been at this place for 2 years]. i picked up applications for Outback Steakhouse and Taco Mac and i have a couple questions.
1. is it really necessary to attach a resume? i guess it would look good but that seems really professional just to be applying for a job as a waitress. so is it ok not to have one?
2. it asks when i would be available to start, and i put after two weeks notice at current job. would that make them less likely to hire me? both places said they're hiring, but neither one is like in demand & needs someone RIGHT NOW kinda thing. but is that ok to put? because that's what i would need but that seems like it would lower my chances a little bit.
3. one asks how long i plan to work for them and i put August 2009 because that's when i will leave for college but should i just leave that blank? my mom said they probably wont put the time and effort in hiring me if im just gonna leave then but either way it's inevitable that i'd have to leave so i dont know if i should put it or not.
4. one also asks the minimum amount i need to make per month or per week. i mean i dont know? it asked for expected hourly pay rate and i put flexible, so what should i put for minimum per week?
5. i was told to come back and drop my application off with the manager, so when i do, what should i say/ask?
the job i have now was easy to get, i just filled out an application one night when my family was eating there, gave it to the owner, and they called me. i didnt have to really try and the application was to the point, so that's why im confused now ha.
im hoping that they'll like the fact that i have 2 years of experience and that will help me get hired, do you think so?
also has anyone ever worked at Taco Mac? if so, could you tell me about it? was it hard/easy? did you like it? are tips shared? etc. anything like that you can tell me would be great.

Hello thats is good that you have experience under your belt that is always a plus also if you have any volunteer expericne this also counts even though no salary was received, volunteer services are always good because it shows your effortto want to help without always wanting money in return:),if you have no volnteer experience that is fine too but if you have minimal work experience it is fairly useful!
1.HMM well since you don't have that much experience a resume is not needed, previous work experience is always asked for on the applicaion itslef unless you already have a resume prepared it does not hurt to attach it but if not, its no big deal.
2.You should always be truthful on an application, if you need two weeks notice state this because it would be no good to lie, what if they needed you earlier and you couldn't leave your other job that would show unrelaiability.
3.As stated above tell the truth if you are going to be leaving for college at that time be honest so the company may have the proper notice for a prospective employee, employees are always needed at fastfood places, they will always need people dont worry about lowering your chances.
4.Since you are not looking for a specific amount of money since you don/t have to support yourself you should put N/A for now or just use the wage you made at previous job as a guidline to make the best decsion
5.When you go to drop off your application ask for the manager and hand he/she the application it is always important to be polite and thank them for the opportunity, you should ask about interviews that may be needed or when you might expect a call.you should always make sure you have the companies to check on your application status,those places get a large amount of applicaions and can sometimes forget especially they are not in need of someone right now

Hello, what you are experiencing has nothing to do with sex, women sometimes have vaginal discharge especially as you mature more, your body goes through alot. But you may simply be experiencing a vaginal infection or a yeast infection..are you doing anything new latley that you think could have contributed to this and is this the first time anything like this has happened to you?
