I've been in school for a week, and I feel/am so alone! I hate it so much. I came home crying. My parents keep saying it will get better after half a year or so..but I don't want to be the loner walking around on my own for 4 months! I've talked to some people...they are nice but they aren't exactly friends.
I hate being like this, and since all the lessons are mixed up, you don't have many lessons with the same people.
Can anyone give me ANY advice...and how could I make some friends at least?

hun, i know how you feel. when i first moved to a new town i was paranoid, thought people would hate me, and all of that. i was scared. what you have to do is be brave,jump into stuff and just loosen up. don't care what people think, this is easy for you right now,because you dont know anyone. you'd be surprised how many people actually will go up to you and say hi. it only takes one person, then you'll be friends with all of theres. also, you could find someone who is in at least 2 of your classes and just be like "hey, your in my ___ right?" and introduce yourself. you could also complement people. these people you say aren't exactly friends; well, they aren't friends yet. get to know them, make friends. go up to them at lunch and say hi. putting yourself out there really makes a difference. smile,be friendly, and strike a good conversation. its only one week in. i didn't make friends until 2 weeks. if you take the bus, its also easier to talk to people there. i really hope i helped. be spontanios! good luck , i know things will get better

I am choosing between two outfits for the first day of 8th grade. I want to look mature in my outfit yet fun. One thing i'm not sure about in these outfits though is the miniskirts. I want to give a good first impression to my teachers, and not give the new kids and younger kids the impression that I dress slutty.Do you think they are too short? hey i have thin brown hair, brown eyes, a wide but small nose, kinda fat lips, fat cheeks, small face, but im not fat, i guess i just have baby fat still. i also am pretty tan but not really all that tan, my face is neutral colored i guess.
does anyone have any makeup advice to make my face look prettier? i want my eyes to look bigger, my nose and lips and cheeks to look thinner.

dude,this is soo scaryy, your whole description is the same as mine.
okay, first the eyes:
i do three different things,for variety. its always good to have a change,so people notice you more.
1.Eyes:
Black eyeliner,inner bottom and inner top. then on the Outer top lid, make a thin line starting at the middle of the pupil,and increase as you go out. (mascara,if you need it)
Another thing i do is use brown eyeliner, on the bottom inner lid,and bottom outer lid. then,on the bottom outer lid again, i use a taupe eyeshadow (the color could be also called tiger eye,its like a slivery brown.) very close the eyeliner, so it will stick. (mascara,if you need it)
The last thing i do, is use white eyeliner on the inner corners(closest to the nose) top and bottom corners. then some purple eyeliner on my inner bottom lid,extending it out a little on the outer corners. (againnn, if you need mascara,use ittt)
^i use concealer for my circles,but you don't have to.
2. Face :
I use water based makeup,with no oil in it.
all over my face. then some bronzer.
3. Cheeks:
I have that problem too,i just hate my baby fat!
what i do is suck in my cheeks and apply bronzer to my cheeks,up to the temples. (not too much.)
a coral cheek, on the apples. and an irridecent (no color)shimmer in the middle of the apples and temple. it usually works out to make my cheeks pop. :]
4. Nose:
Hmmm, if you have a pug nose like me,its going to be really hard to make it smaller. Just use some powder all around your face,make sure you blend all of the powder and foundation over your neck and ears! the best thing is to probably play up your eyes a lot, so people don't pay attention to the nose.
5. Lips:
Lately everyone's been wanting big lips! be proud of them, give them a matte, coral color. you could also use a lip tint, or a lip stain~ you want you're lips to be pretty plain,seeing as you're already going to be playing up the eyes.
6. Hair:
I'd get a short haircut, lots of face framing layers and side bangs. It'll deffinatly define youre face more. and short angles. (layers all around your head)

Ok, here's the story. When I was younger, I thought of God as an invisible being that always watched you and could do anything he wanted. So i'd always say "yes I believe in god". But as I grew older, people who don't believe in God have pointed things out to me. I mean it was MAN who wrote the bible, and MAN who wrote the ten commandments. who's to say man didn't make it all up? One of my frieds once pointed out that "man does not like the thought of nothing after death, so the created an afterlife to believe in instead". Another person that doesn't believe in God said "he is just like Santa Claus, used to make children be good". These seem like pretty realistic remarks to me. Plus there is no "proof" that he does exist right? People who believe in him just say "the feeling is truly wonderful". I have asked God to come into my heart many times, but I never feel any different. Does this make me Atheist? (link)

well, if you don't believe in god, you are an atheist. i'm not going to shove my beliefs down your throat, but i know whenever i truly need help, and i'm at my lowest low, i just look up. and yeah, everything good, thats prob. "whatever's" up there.
You can go with you're friends,and "listen" to them.but what do they know? One thing goes wrong, and theres no God? Its OUR fault there's War. OUR fault we have a government, and in my opinion,a bad president.
This doubt, maybe its something you should think about more. Maybe,you feel somethings really there,that's why you asked advice on this,right? 98% Of teens don't believe in god, because we're too stubborn now a days, people always need an explaination. The things that can't be explained,are left to be unreal. Why is it so easy for people to believe in ghosts,but not God? I don't know, no one does. YES, most deffinatly yes.
Licking a stamp is actually consuming 1/10 of a calorie. you don't eat the stamp,but its still in your mouth,and you can taste it. And most gum is 5 calories,though you don't swallow it. hope i helped =]

I am 16/m/uk..
My girlfriend of 15 months i have found out has lied to me again about the same thing..
When we first started going out and throughout our relationship i have tried very hard to get her to stop smoking.. there were various points where i was sure she had stopped but it turned out that she had done it a few times behind my back and tried to cover it up but i found out..
She is currently on holiday and my close friend has told me she smoked with him and she asked him to not tell me... Naturally as we are close he did tell me..
I love my girlfriend to bits but her constantly lying makes me feel like i can trust her.. and trust is very important to me..
This is around the fourth time she has lied about smoking and it has come to a point where i feel like our whole relationship is at stake because i cannot stand being lied to anymore...
What shall i do? is it best to end things? Will i be able to trust her yet again..

well i see where you're getting to,with the whole trust thing. But also remember smoking is an addiction and incredibly hard to give up,much less control. Addictions can do this to people, and you just have to upfrount tell her you don't like it. Basically, its either you, or the ciggarets, maybe you should tell her that. You have to confrount her, no matter how much youu don't want to. Rumours are sometimes not true. Its when you hear them from close friends that somethings really up. You could get people to spy on her,but then, that would be very trustworthy,would it? point blank theres no other way to get through to her other than you telling her yourself. And if she can't listen to you,the one person she should trust above all,then maybe it's not going to work you. Remind her that you care about her, and your concerned, but still try to get your point across. sorry it isn't much, but i hope i helped :]

I wouldn't change your hair color, i read up on some stuff awhile ago, and they like people who have a unique look to them, don't use a lot of make-up,and don't dye there hair all different colors.
You look perfect to become a model,but you should show them less profile shots. (take a frount-face picture) You'll need to hire a photographer to make a portfolio and what not. Also, try to find a talent scout near you. But yess, deffinatly go for it!

What is the fastest way of getting rid of a pimple, like within 3 days, or atleast the redness. Dont say proactive or something like that, becuase i need to start tonight and that doesnt come fast sinse its mail order. Anyways any suggestions are appriciated (link)

1. Lemon juice! so good, it temparaily reduces redness,but also drys it out. Apple juice (not the kind you drink-- the kind from the apple) also works if your skin is super sensitive.
2. 10% Benzol Peroxide. its wonderful
3. Witch Hazel, its a natural toner and helps your skin tone.
4. Visine eye drops- i've tryed this-- it works really well. the regular kind is best, and be sure to not get it in your mouth, it could get you veryy sick.
5. Also, proactive is sold on stands at lots of malls, you should see if theres any near you, but it won't help in three days.
6.Get rest! sleeping it always good for you :].
7.Get clean and clear oil absorbing sheets.that way,through out the day you can just whipe off the oil, and resuce chances of acne. its reduces shine as well.
8.The only other thing, concealer, neutragina makes some powers and liquid foundation that fights pimples while covering them up- awesome!

oh yeah, they're exactly the same, and have a really large selection! It is the store, you just get them soo much cheaper. Outlets are the same stores, but 10x cheaper.(It's mostly for tourist attractions, theres a whole line of them from Florida to Massachusetts.) i got pacsun (tilt) jeans for 12$ once! If your going, you'll probably spend the whole day there,if you really want to look at the stores. They're absolutely amazingg

i give rib-breaking hugs to people i havn't seen in awhile, people i miss, people i lovee, or if i'm just really excited,that's just a way to let it out.casual hugs, are just saying "hi" and if i've seen them on a daily basis. its also a way i get closer to friends that i dont really know. Basically,to me, the harder the hug, the more you mean to me. I think hugs are for people you don't want to loose,so you hug them to hold on to them. =] (boyfriend hugs are a different story, for me i'll play with their shirt in the back or something weird. ) anywayss, hope i helped. =]

no you're deffinatly not fat. you don't have to be stick skinny, and truthfully most boys i know these days don't like it when girls are too skinny. You're normal, and you have an athletic body. as long as your confident with what you look like (which you should be, your gorgeous!) then why change? =] hope i helped
ps- DON'T trust those online BMI's, i'm normal weight for my height, and it says i'm dangerously under weight. it also depends on you're bone stucture and frame(small, normal,large) which online bmi's don't take into consideration.

well i've heard people do 300 crunches a day, but i usually do 30 before breakfast, 20 after (crunches)
then i have dance during lunch time, so any cardio. but lunch (in my opinion) isn't supposed to be that big, so i would just do 15 before, 10 after.
dinner, i also don't eat much (its good to have a big breakfast, smaller lunch, and smaller dinner) but if you do, i'd just do 30 before,20 after.
so thats 125,which is good =]. (it will work for situps also) but i find putting a little workout ball on you lower back while doing crunches realllyyy works the flab on the lower belly. also,i've heard sucking it in actually helps too. anyways good luck! hope i helped,

it's a very cute piercing, but unfortunately they won't let you pierce it if you're under 16 (so i've heard) because it can damage half of the nerves on the side of the face. I would get it done by needle,because gun's really aren't that great for any piercing. Needles are known to hurt less,and heal faster. Shooting a gun into that thick of cartiledge might be painful. (people on here say it'll only hurt for a couple seconds,but they might take pain better than others) When i got my upper ear pierced, it hurt for about 3 hours. its just how you take the pain. I'm sure its worth it though, and i'd sya go for it =]. just make sure it's done at a really good place! good luck

hey, i actually think the cheap brand name "new york" is good,but it does wear off =/. but try to find a really nice black pencil. also try like the other girl said, the crayon thing (almay sells them,also try revlon for any of the pencils)
i pretty much achive the first look by pencil.
First look:
Pull both sides of your eye lid at the same time,(so its flat) with the pointer and middle finger.do it really thin, then when you get to the middle,gradually get thinker.line your inner top and inner bottom lashes.vuala!
Second:
This ones much more complex. It looks like she used a thin layer of liquid liner to line the outer bottom lid,the pencil/cray for the inner bottom lid, and liquid on the top. she also used mascara. then she put concealer under her eyelids and starting where the color starts in your eyes, she used blue as a shadow effect. veryy cute.
Third:
She lined her outter and inner lids on the bottom, and her outter/inner lids on the top.(pencil) then using either a sharp pencil, or liquid she made both of the outter lines meet,and curl. i would think she used pencil though,its easier to make.
The fourth on is because she's too over loaded with makeup. and the top is too thick.and she has no bottom lashes, which is why i'm thinking you don't want it like that =p.
*stay away from being to thick
*pencils/crayon eyeliners are easier to control (in my opinion)
