My name is Devin Lindsey or Vinny as my sister calls me! I am 17 years old and go to Bethel Park High school. I loooove swimming along with dancing, singing, and playing softball. I also run varsity track with is alright i supose too.


My favorite colors are orange, pink, and blue. I love to be crazy and have a good time

I've had a job working for 15+ monthes so I can answer alot about that

and I know alot about relationships in general so I can be helpful with that sometimes

especially with parent child relationships


I am a very observant person and tend to know more and care about more than most my age


and I really believe in volunteering to help animals especially at shelters. Usually its not their fault that they have to live their and its usually horrible cercimstances that bring them there and I feel terrible that they can't speak for themselves and people are too caught up in spending like $500 on this cute little pure breed puppy from a breeder just into getting rich instead of giving one of these dogs another chance at life (there are usually a handful of dogs under a year old so the i want a puppy excuse doesn't work with me)

My baby is named Lainey Mae... we got her from a shelter about 2 hours away from us when she was 7 weeks old. she is now 2 years old and the center of our family. unfortunately someone was cruel enough to go down and drug up and shoot (but luckly not kill) most of the dogs plus rob the owner (just like someone did at the shelter where I volunteer) and its now shut down

is there a way to get tan without going tanning, self tanner or going out in the sun?

well they have this spray on tan stuff. i think its more of like a henna tatooo thing more than self tanner. other than that there really isnt anything besides like self tanner makeup blush

I'm married, and my husband and I rent a house from my parents. I'm 20, and my husband is 21. They've been pretty generous by offering us the house over other renters, and giving us a lower rent. They insist of holding a copy of the house key for emergencies, which is fine with me.

Here's the problem. Lately, they've been letting themselves in without knocking. After my husband and I come home from work and put the baby in bed, we tend to sit around...not completely clothed. More than once now, they've caught us like this; once just walking around naked and twice being intimate.

But maybe worse, they let themselves in when we're not home. I don't think they mean any harm, but they come in, look around, borrow our stuff, and clean.

I'm afraid that they'll find something they don't like and kick us out. I feel that we're adults, and we pay rent, so we deserve some privacy. Am I right that we should have privacy? If so, how should I go about talking to my parents? I don't want to make them feel bad, since I think they're just trying to help.

i think you should talk to them. they are prob. still copping with the fact that you dont live with them anymore and you are an adult. do you have a lock on your door (like the one above the door not on the door?) maybe try locking that or put a sign up while you dont want them coming in says we are busy or something! i would talk to them first and if they get upset try to compromise with them somehow

15/f. i discharge everyday a lot. is this normal? i already have my period and everything. like a lot of the time it feels really wet down there, but im not like horny or anything. normal or no?

yepp! we talked about it in health today. its mainly used by your body to clean itself. you cant stop it but you can use things like "mini Pads" (they are maxi pads for between periods) and try not to sit down to long or your underwear will start feeling wet.

okayy i have 90$ to spend on christmas presents for 3 girls and 3 boys. The girls i have picked out already and that leaves me with about 40$. This one guy jimmy, i like a real lot and i was thinking of gettin him a 24$ calonge from abercrombie so thats 26$ left. i don't know what i can get my other two friends.

Luke- he's a skater, he's funny, likes sugars and candies and even though he's 13 hes pretty much loving in a 8 year old attitude. like he gets excited over stupid things and the other guy, Tyler if pretty much the same way only hes not a skater i dont know what i can get either of then with 26$ so if anyone had ideas i'd appreciate them so much!

if you dont know what to get them i would stick to gift cards or maybe check out the store pac sun (pacific sun) it has some pretty cool surfer/ skater kinda stuff and im not either one of those kinda people and i still love the store.
also food places are always fun because everyone loves to eat!

I just recently became a vegetarian. The thing is, I really have no desire for meat. However, I feel like I'm eating the same things over and over again. Does anyone know of some good vegetarian foods/meals?

i am not a vegetarian so i couldnt really tell you but i know you can make almost any meal and just substitute like meat for some sort of meat substitute! try a cook book or something. there are prob hundreds of cook books out there for fast vegetarian meals.

So I help this first grader who doesn't speak English very well (he's Korean)to learn how to read/speak English better. His mom picks out 4-5 short books and gives me a notebook and a pen, and I basically just go to a seperate room with the kid and read to him and write down any words he doesn't understand. Sometimes I try to make him read out loud, as well. Problem? He seems to really hate these "classes" if you can call it that. He always asks me why he has to do this, and tells me he just wants to play instead. He's very uncooperative, and refuses to listen to me and just goes and does his own thing. I don't know what to do! If I tell his mom, she'll think I'm not helping him and ask me not to come anymore, and the money is quite good so I don't want to lose the job! Does anyone know any ways to make the classes more fun and stuff and make him enjoy them more... or at least dread them a little less?

maybe try to make a game out of it or bring candy or something. do you take a foreign laungage in school? if you do im sure you have played some sorta game in your life in that class that you can play with him. maybe tell him if he can read a book all by himself and tell you what it talks about you will take him somewhere or get him something. like maybe instead of having class one day you can take him to a museum or something on american history or something like that. i swear little kids will do anything for rewards. or maybe you can even rent a comp game or something that has something on it that will help him. like vocab games or something i know they make them and have them at most libraries to rent. or maybe you can have a theme to all the books for the week and you can have a game that deals with the themes ( like name all the christmas words he knows that start with c or something) if you need ideas for games let me know i can prob think of something

well it's a little lengthy but here it goes.
I ahve this friend we'll call Hannah and were really close. we have a lot of the same interests and stuff but now she's being very mean to me. I have this other friend who we'll call Michelle and shes a year younger ( 7th grade) and i think Hannah is jealous. she says i always ditch her for Michelle, but i really dont. i just have prior plans. im really torn by what to do because hannah said sum very hurtful things. and Michelle isnt a mean person shes very ncie and has never sed anything mean to Hannah. Hannah just started acting, like shes having mood swings all this has been going on since school started in september.

I have made my grandma a special memories book for her birtday with lots of photos and little anicdotes and things and memories i have of her from holidays, christmas, birthdays etc.
I'm just really stuck for what i can write on the front page.

i have stuff like that. you basically just have to use it like gel and strunch your hair while its in. it doesnt really make you hair that much curlier and it works better if you use gel at the same time with it

well i use revlon and its pretty good just done use that loreal brush in stuff. it made my sisters hair orange instead of blonder and dont use the ones with the caps. they hurt!

umm just remeber that you are friends and not to get competitive and if he asks her out dont hate her for it. its not her fault. if you are worried about your friendship go after someone else or talk to her about it and agree that you guys wont brag about how he flirts with you or whatever

Track season starts in Jan., there is something called "conditioning" where they help you get ready. Should I try running on my own warmin' up for the "conditioning". Has anyone juped hurdles? That is intersting, is there anything that I should know about that one?

well in most conditioning they dont do hurdles as far as i have heard of but i would try warmin up before conditioning because conidioning can be hard.. well thats the point of it. i would recomend doing alot of stretches so that you are ready when its time to start doing hurdles. maybe practice doing hurdles or something in your house by jumping onto your bed or something. hope that helps. i ran track but ive never done hurdles myself, only watched

Is it true that if your period is abnormal .. like it is a period that you never expect it to come and it skips a few months .. that you won't be able to have a baby when you get olderI'm 15 and I started my period at March (9 months ago) And I haven't had it since July (5 months ago) And I know there isnt anything wrong with me because my friend is the same way and her doctor said there is nothing wrong with her. And I read articles about your period not getting regular until a year after. But my question is .. Does this mean I won't be able to have kids? Because I want them and I don't want that to happen!

no not at all! for the first 2 years or so it will be very irregular and that is totally normal. mine is like that too. of after several years it is still like that you may have trouble getting preggo because of your lack of periods but you have a much greater chance of getting osteoperosis b/c of an irregular period(y i dont know) if you are worried see a doctor. if they are worried that can give you medicine that should help regulate your period
