Okay I have a lot of guys friends.. and Im a girl but that doesn't madder right?? A bunch of preps started calling me Kevin instead of Katie which is retarted! I dont like how everyone thinks Im apart of the guys. I dont dress like guys its just guys are more loyal they dont tell people what I say and don't stab or try to hurt eachother.. This kid named Nick someones whos never liked me called me Butch. You could tell obvioulsy just by looking at me I was upset by that.. and Nick did it again only i think the third time Steven(another Emo awsome Steven I call him my little emo boy) was like NICK come here NOww!! And he yelled that down the hall and Nick came down and he was like Yeahh?? and Steven was like butch??? look at the way she dresses! and Nick was like yeahh good point she does dress kinda slutty! oh well Steven didn't like that and punched him in the head and im standing to the side and I was like Steven!! Its okayy dont get in trouble for me.. becuase they got in afight while Stevens yelling SHES NOT A SLUT YOUR JUST JELOSE BECAUSE YOU CANT EVEN TOUCH A GIRL!!! and Im like Stop omfgg stop im like crying in the hallway trying to get them apart and teachers start coming out and Mr.Jones actually stopped the fight and all 3 of us go to the office and were sitting in the Vice Prniciaples office and Nicks in the nurse because of a bloody nose.. and Im like Steven why did you do that??? And he was like Nick had no rigt to call you that. I was liek I know but Steven your probbaly gunna get ISS for this im not worth that.. hes parents are wicked strickt and will kill him! And he hugged me and was like trust me you are.. So i was like ooww I didnt know I maddered that much :D and I hugged his again when Mr.Saunders came in. Hes wicked cool and was oww young love we were like not Best Buds! and hes like Well Nicks going home.. we started laughing and Mr.Saunders was like I wanna hear you side of the story and Il talk to Nick tomarrow. So we explained he called me a slut, and butch and Kevin.. and Mr.Saunders was like it was a good reason, but didnt make it right. Which yeah we understand So Steven got ISS for 5 days.. Nicks probbaly gunna get it for six because of hurassment basicly i think.. and everyone was asking me questions because they heard me screaming and i was like what happen to Kevin? they were like oh and stoped talking to me and I explained things to Adam and stuff about what Steven said and he was like dude Katie if he even said Kevin infornt of me id kick his ass! so I donno why I feel like I need some girl friends.. I have Becky. And she hangs with the guys too and she was like to you think Steven likes you and i was like no its a brotherly love just like Adams and stuff. You might be feeling guilty for what happened but,it was Nick's fault for being a jerk,he shouldn't be disrespecting you like that it's very stupid to say things like that without having any proof,you need to let your friends know that if you need help you'll ask them but,you don't want them to be fighting your battles because of what happened to Steven just for defending you,what a wonderful friend he is for standing up for you,now that's a real friend,especially Steve that he already proved that he is a loyal friend,one you could count on, and you stay strong okay.

look theres this guy Peter who used to go to my school and he does again but he asked me out over msn i said yes and now hes back. He hasn't talked to me I've emailed him no reply Should I send him my note I wrote him or wait? I mean school just went in on the 4th!!! but he used to be on msn everyday!!! shouldn't he get his messages??? Some friends found out and are now harassing me about it!! Well there are options here you either remind your teacher to collect the homework or just let a couple of days without doing the homework,see what happens or do it anyways because some teachers when ever they feel like it they decide to collect all the homework during the week,and I understand how you feel I've had been in this situation before.

Well it happens to a lot of people believe it or not the solution is quite simple in the mornings make sure you eat a good healthy breakfast even if you don't feel like it,also in the afternoons,especially when you're hungry.

Know i know this is sounds wierd but i think that the guy that i like, likes my BFF. He always laughs at her jokes and they talk alot. At lunch he tends to steer twords her. But he also doesn't tell her his secrets. But he tells me his deepest secrets, but he won't tell me who he likes.
But i feel like "unconfident" around him, when him and her are around eachother. Like an example is at lunch i can't really talk to him because i have this mind set that he likes her.
I guess what i want to know is if i THINK he likes her, should i flirt more and make him like me? Or.... Leave him alone and let her "have" him? Or... What else is there???

Call him he probably thinks you may not like him more than a friend,also the possibility that he thinks that if he lets you know about his feelings towards you that you may reject him or he's just always been shy towards girls,let him know you like him,see what happens or ask his friend if he likes you so you won't have to take the risk.

Everyone is saying that I'm too thin. My family members, my friends, etc. I understand people are concerned, but if I needed help I would ask for it. I've been on a diet for awhile now & I feel that I have it pretty much under control. I'm 5'7-5'9 & weigh anywhere from 117-120 lbs. My BMI is not really under yet, only slightly low. Does anyone have any advice/opinions for me?? I want to stay around the 120 range. Is this not enough?? I do think I'm thin, but I don't think I am "too thin". Everyone at school is talking about it & I'm not quite sure what to do or say about it. Everyone thinks I should see a doctor, but I feel that I can handle it myself. Any suggestions?? Thanks!! If you know you could handle it yourself ignore their comments,you just say "I'm thin,I'm proud" so they quit bothering you about that but if you start to notice you are getting way too thin then you should seek a doctor so he could help you achieve your methods in a healthy way.

Well, I am in high school, and have never had a boyfriend. I feel really weired sometimes because all my friends have had one. It isn't like i never talk to guys, because i have like a million guy friends. I don't see why guys don't like me for a girlfriend. I am not like a total geek im really pretty popular and a cheerleader, and all but, why are all the guys always friends, and none of them interested im me as more than a friend. I don't think im ugly but im starting to wonder. So any advise or things to help me. I just feel like im going to be single for the rest of my life! You shouldn't tell him because he's already taken so you have to comfort yourself with only his friendship,you could find out if he likes you if you ask one of his friends but,I also think it's better not to know because then you'll probably want to take the chance to tell him you like him if you find out that he does,then you'll end up getting hurt,losing him as a friend.So be careful for what decision you're about to make.

- he's in my computer class, and sits next to me. his feet are always close to mine, and he doesn't move them.
- he showed me his cell phone and let me mess around with it.
- when we walk out of the classroom, and he goes in front of me; theres a big crowd of people, but sometimes he looks over his shoulder to see if i'm there.
- we've made eye contact, and we talk to each other, meaning we look into each other's eyes when we talk.
- he always jokes about how slow of a typer he is and how fast i am. one time, he went "i hate you", when i finished an assignment and he wasn't even halfway done, and he smiled.
- he always smiles when i'm around.
- one time, he pushed the black handle on my chair to make it go down while i was typing something up. i rolled my eyes (jokingly).
- i was wearing coach sneakers, and i noticed that he kept looking at them, and he went "i didn't know that Coach made shoes". i was surprised haha..
- he's Christian, and when I was looking through his songs (he has the SLVR), and he goes "you probably don't know who the bands are", and I mentioned the Christian band Thousand Foot Krutch and his face lit up when I started talking about them. he also mentioned that he plays baseball.

Well Im going to start my last year of secondary, year 11 and we'll have o levels. the thing is... school is just SO depressing and sad. i have to get up at 7am and im NOT a morning person...the initials of my school are actually S.A.D. Its an all girls school! And the uniform is grey =/. And the rules are SO strict..we cant even choose what color bobble to wear in our hair...has to be wine coloured or black =/. Don't lose hope I felt the same way before,then as soon as I knew it I made a lot of friends you just need to be social you know go out there,talk to people who are sitting next to you,greet them,if someone needs to borrow something like a pen or anything,you have extras lend them,ask their name,present yourself,go from there.You got to have faith that you will land up with one of your friends,as far as the boys you can meet guys in clubs,in the gyms they have available where people workout,stuff,other entertainment places.

Ok well...I have braces yes....but a while after i got them, my gums started swelling. they havnet gone down for a long time. i met my friend at the supermarket the other day and her gums arent like that. she hasnt been brushing as much as me though. and she only flosses a lot, two weeks before her orthodontist appointment. the orthodontist told me not to go to the dentist and get my teeth cleaned, but my friend told me, that he told her to go. if he ripping me off??? does he want me to have swollen gums? he said they might not go down all the way. and im really really really mad. he is supposed to be the best in my little country. he told me that hell try to get me done in oct. but then someone said dec. and he said dec. liar!!!!! my mom was right there. help!!!!!! what is he doing, and how can i get my gums down!?! i floss and brush.. thats all i know to do. Try not licking your gums even if you feel pain in your braces everytime they put new ones each month,don't listen to the orthodontist go to the dentist that will solve the problem to have them checked out,cleaned,different orthodontists tell you something different believe me because I used to have braces before.

Okay so i have 2 friends who live down the street from me, their names are eva and gabby, and they arent friends with eachother., evas mom lives here, but her dad lives in another town, and this summer, she decided she was gonna live there with him, and go to school in that town, so when she would come back home for a couple days each month this summer, i would hangout with her each day that she'd be here. Now my other friend, Gabby shes been home the whole summer, hanging out with neighborhood kids, and stuff, but we've only hungout maybe 6 times the whole summer, i dont know; the problem is, gabby keeps asking me to hangout before school starts [3 days] and i just feel like, i dont really feel like hanging out with her, and i dont know why? so i make up excuses not to, and the thing -i dont get is, if eva comes back to town, im gonna want to hangout with her. so i dont understand why i wanna hangout with eva, but not gabby? is there any reasons you guys think it could be? You can try talking to the guys you gave some attitude,apologizing for being mean to them,let them know it wasn't your intention to be disrespectful so they don't get the wrong idea about you,you need to control that,if you do feel like doing that again then it's better to not look at them at all,try pushing yourself to show that you like someone so you get the hang of it.

there's this kid that i work with and he pretty much ignores new people and i'm new, well 2 months. we never really talk and if we do it's only because i have to tell him to get me something or vice versa. its always just a one way conversation though. today he screwed up one of my orders (he's the fry cook of the custard stand i work at) and he made extra of something and when i told him i didn't need it he said "i hate you." he's the type of person that is mean but funny and probably isn't really truly a mean person but because im new and i know he doesn't like new people i don't know what to think of it. at the moment i just laughed at him after he said it and walked away. would you guys say he was joking or no?
