My friend was asking me if she can use her laptop to get on the internet on the highway.
Now keep in mind, we're in Saskatchewan, Canada. I really don't think there is anyway she can get internet on the highway.

i think there's something that's wireless, that gives you internet connection that you can plug into your laptop. i would go to an electronics store (something like Best Buy- in the US, not sure what it would be called in Canada)and ask them. :) good luck
I'm a junior in high school. For the past two years, everytime i liked a guy, its always been some random boy ive seen walking down the hall. I never get crushes on guys that I actually know; just guys that I think are really cute that ive never talked to before.
A few days ago I was walking through the halls and saw this guy, and as soon as i made eye contact with him, my little crush started to develope. I know his name, because we use to ride the same bus in middle school and for some strange reason i always remember stuff like that.
I feel like a stalker. Is this normal? My friends make fun of me for liking this random guys. It doesnt feel right to me but i cant help it.
*Also, does anyone have any adivce on how I can talk to this guy and get to know him? I dont have any classes with him, so it would have to be when i see him during lunch.

i think what you're feeling isn't really a crush. it's just like, attraction. you think he's cute/hot/whatever so you're like 'oh i like this kid'.
do you have any friends that know him? have them introduce you to him! i don't know what else to tell you because it would be kinda awkward if you just went up to him and started talking to him. i mean you could say something subtle though like 'i like your shirt' or like ask him a question like 'do you know where ____ is?'. i would go with something like the 'i like your shirt' thing though because then he'll feel good that you have him a compliment.

Ok so I'm a 14 year old girl in 8th grade... ok anyways, I don't really consider myself popular, I'm actually pretty quiet, and I don't think I'm beautiful or hot or whatever, just pretty. But the thing that's always confused me is guys love being around me. Like, they love teasing me and making me laugh and just being around me in general, and not weird ones, either, like, really cute popular guys. I don't really know WHY though. I love hanging out with boys, I get along with them better than I do with girls. So, could it be because I have a really good, boyish-sense of humor and I laugh really easily? so i've been shaving down there for about a year and every time i shave i get bad red bumps. how do i get rid of them when i shave? i've shaved probably about 5 times and every time i take it more carefully than the time before. i spend about thirty minutes and apply lots of shaving cream. i wash my razor constantly and i usually use two razors in one time. i've used lotion afterwards and it does nothing to help. i just want it clean without any bumps. any suggestions? and i'm not sure i'm into waxing.
to what the person below me said.. i've tried nair and it didn't work for me so i don't know how good of an idea that is.. but you can try it. anyways, i had this same problem. you need to get some kind of special cream or something that is specifically for eliminating razor bumps and redness. you can get things like this at most salons that do waxes :)

I can have the hugest crush on a guy, the first date I will still have a huge crush on him, and then on the second all my feelings for him just evaporate. This happens every time, and I found the most amazing guy who really likes me and I DID really like him, the first date was perfect, we talked online, it was still perfect, I saw him, all my feelings evaporated.
Why does this happen? I hate myself for it, and I've only been with my boyfriend 4 days, and yesterday all my passionate feelings went away and I feel absolutely nothing for him except friendship kind of love.
I mean we had the most perfect amazing date, the most amazing conversations, and I really though wow this is real, I think we will be together for quite some time if not the rest of our lives.
I told him how I felt and he is willing to try and work things out if I'm willing, which I definitely am because he is such an amazing guy.
This has nothing to do with what he said or did, its all because of my own issues.
Please can anyone help me regain my feelings for this guy and make this relationship work.
i know exactly how you feel. this always always always happens to me. just please think about this before you do anything drastic because i just lost a guy that was really important to me because i act in these kinds of ways. ask yourself this: would you miss him if you guys weren't together? that's what i decided i need to start doing because i don't realize what i have until it's gone.

this is very embarrassing .. but i have these scars on the back of my thighs from numerous skin bumps. i had some kind of staf infection thing (*not the serious one*). and now there is just embarrassing scars there.. like more kinda towards the bottom of my butt. is there anything i can do ?
yeah i had an infection like that too last summer. my scars almost completely faded away in like a year. i don't really think there's anything you can do about them but you can try putting mederma on them because that's supposed to make scars go away faster :)

you don't have to go to homecoming with a guy you like. you can just go as friends--- and if you decide to do that make it clear. you don't want him making a move on you because he doesn't understand that you don't feel the same way about him. but if you really don't wanna go to homecoming with him tell him that you already have other homecoming plans. that way it leaves the oppurtunity open for a different guy to ask you, but you could always just go with a group of friends too.

16/f. so my boyfriend of about two years and i were going very well until about the middle of the summer. we just didnt talk as much, and he went away for over 2 weeks with his family. so now he says hes sorry and is talking to me a littttle more. i still really like him but i dont know if i should just break up with him because he HAS changed and the fact that he would do that this past week is just so annoying. but i really dont know what to do

so i just got an angular bob cut and it looked fantastic.... BUT my hair is naturally curly so when i shower it goes back to normal i am good at straightening my own hair except when i try to do it it doesn't look the same as when my hairdresser did! helppp! it looks funny and like as though my hair got longer and well more of it seems to be there!!
you probably need to straighten in it in smaller sections because then it will look thinner :)
or maybe you need to get a better straightener that gets hotter and allows your hair to get flatter.

tell her you understand that she's still in love with her ex, you need to make this clear. because she's probably hurting very much right now and if you've ever been through a tough break up you know that. tell her you want her to go with you guys and make it into a girls fun thing. go shopping for dresses together, go out to dinner after, have a sleepover, etc.
and if she still doesn't want to go, give her time. her feelings for this guy will fade away eventually. she just needs time to heal.

A local theater is doing the play Charlotte's Web and I have a chance to be a part of it. Problem is we open in about 2 weeks and I need ugly, old dresses for my character. Think old lady dresses. Nothing fancy, just UGLY. Another road bump is that I am plus size, so they have to be able to fit me. We looked at a local goodwill and they had three dresses that we could work with but I want more cheap and inexspensive options. Anyone know where I could possibly find something?
i honestly don't think you'll get any cheaper than goodwill. but you could try asking your mom, grandmas, aunts, cousins, etc if they have any dresses like that you could borrow for your play. you could also see if somebody could make you one =]
