Q: This may be an odd question, but I'll ask anyway, I was hangin out with friends and I was running through the house and hit my arm on the banister, now I have a huge bruise that has gone from purplish to greenish, to many other colors.
But my question is, is there any way to make the bruise not hurt that much, or to make it go away faster, because it's on the upper part of my arm but right near my elbow, so whenever I bend my arm it kind of hurts, so any suggestions? Or is there nothing I can do?

♥There really isn't anything you can do. Try and avoid bumping it again, maybe if it isn't too hot where you live, wear long sleeve shirt? I don't know, there isn't much to do. A bruise isn't like a cut where you can put a bandaid and cream on it, a bruise is kind of like a cut/rupture/internal bleeding under your skin, so there is no way of fixing it.

♥Believe it or not, that's normal. Just because they're your parents, they still can have an intimate relationship. When you hear that, it's akward, yes. But when you think about it, aren't you glad that they are having sex and happy instead of fighting with each other? This means that they are in a happy and healthy relationship. Saying something about it will only make things more akward, VERY akward. Especially for your parents, wouldn't you be embaressed? Next time you hear them, go in the other room or go for a jog.

♥From your question, I can kind of get the image of the kinds of books you like. My mind is blank right now, but here are the best ones for you that have popped into my head:
1.)The Giver by Lois Lowry.
2.)A Child Called It by Dave Pelzer.
3.)The Perks Of Being A Wallflower (?).
Those 3 books are the kinds of "Never want to put it down" books you are looking for.

♥I'm not religious, and don't follow the bible, but I don't think there is anything wrong with bringing yours to school. You love god and that is all that matters, if other people have a problem with it, it's actually them with the problem. The number one thing you HAVE to be aware of is to not force your religion on anyone, if they aren't interested, just accept that. I don't believe in God but I am very open minded and always listen to what people have to say, not everyone is like that though, they might get offended. Do what you think is best and what will make you happy. Although, some schools (including mine) don't allow anything religious (example: No bibles, religion related shirts, etc.). If your school allows it, I say go for it.

♥You just need to accept his sexuality. He's gay, so what? He is still the same person he always has been, you shouldn't feel any different around him. Of course it will take time getting used to it, but you just have to think, he's not a different person. It will be akward for a little while, but soon that feeling will go away. He's your brother, you need to accept him. Try and spend as much time as possible with him.

♥There are loads of things to do, you just have to think. I'll be nice and list some for you:
*Dress in crazy outfits and do your hair and makeup and take pictures and such.
*Make a website on http://www.geocities.com and tell about yourselves and upload the pictures you just took and put them on there.
*Do you have a video camera? Do funny things and tape it, you can watch it whenever you miss each other when you'e in different states.
*Buy a bunch of fruit, yogurt, juice, and ice and make smoothies together. I don't know why, but I think making them is fun.
*Go on the computer and make weird screenames and i.m your friends acting like you're someone else.
*Download music and learn the words, then use a computer microphone and do kareoke.
*Go to the mall, movies, park, etc. and talk to random people.
*Buy tons of magazines and read them together, then cut them up and make a collage.
There is tons of things to do, just be creative.

♥Well, it depends what kinds of books you like. I read it and thought it was just OK. It is set up like an instant message throughout the whole book, so it isn't really a "book" its more of a "conversation." I think you will like it if you enjoy easy-read books about dramatic teen life.

My Advice
Hi. I'm Sammi. My old column was xxSammiWammi. Ask me anything. I don't think there is anything that I won't be able to help you with. I know alot about: Drugs, Eating Disorders, Mental health, Nutrition, Music, Fashion, and Sex.
My Life
I'm just a 15 year old girl who lives in Florida. I have a big family, and I love everyone in it. Music is what keeps me living, I can talk hours and hours about it. I also am really into fashion. I'm an Athiest but that doesn't mean i'm a bad person. Feel free to ask me any questions about that. If you want to see my picture, ask for it.
