so there's this guy that i met at a camp about a month ago, but he lives almost 2000 miles away. Because of money, we wouldnt be able to visit each other ever, so I decided we couldnt have a real relationship.
The problem is, we still talk on the phone almost every night for several hours. I enjoy his company and all, but I cant continue this because I just wont have the time. But hes homeschooled, so he has absolutely no experience in the love department. Hes become very attached, and i dont want to hurt him because i still like him, we just couldnt work out.
How do I slowly detach myself without hurting his feelings or totally losing contact? (link)

i think you should tell him that you don't want to hurt him but you think that you guys would be better off being friends for now since you are so far away. and tell him maybe you'll get to see him next summer and you can pick up things from there if you guys are still in contact. and tell him you understand that he really likes you but you guys can not have a real relationship since you are so far away from each other.

So, today was the first day of school :D well, i'm a freshman in a new highschool, but I have a few classes with upperclassmen. During art, some random senior guy sat down next to me and it was reallllyyyy awkward. He seems pretty cool though and i'd like to get to know him a bit better, because I want to make some new friends this year :) any tips on over coming this awkwardness? Thanks! (link)

not trying to give your hopes up or anything but upper classmen pretty much only go for freshmen because they think they are easier to get. so just be careful :)
and to get to know people and make friends find stuff you have in common. ex. - art, sports, hobbies, friends in common, etc.
and to start conversations one of the best ways to break the ice is to compliment someone. everyone loves a compliment :)
and just don't think about things being awkward. the more you think "wow this is awkward" the awkwarder it is going to be!

Okay so ive worn a tampon a few times before. But every time i wear them they like leak alot. Is this supposed to happen? I mean im pretty sure i put it in right.. because I dont feel it or anything. But its like i have to wear a panty liner in my bathingsuit! And when I take it out, I feel like the panty liner is more full than the tampon. Please help! I'm going to get it next week and im going to be on a camping trip in maine at a lake, swimming and tubing and stuff! Please please help! (link)

it depends on how heavy your period is.
if it is really really heavy you might have to change it like every 2 hours. or if your period is light then you might change it like every 5 hours.
it just depends.
and you get TSS from leaving in your tampons too long. just dont keep one in for a whole day. you'll be fine. TSS is very rare. but in all boxes of tampons there is a pamphlet warning you about TSS if you read it it will probably answer all of your questions. i don't know to much about it and i don't want to give you false info!

Hey, I have a tanning question...
Well I am absolutely in LOVE with self-tanners because I love seeing results quickly which is rare for my skin type. I also tan quite a bit in the summer (Don't worry, I practice safe sun :]). But my question is, If you already have a self tanner on, can you lay out and still get a tan? Or is it not possible for the UV rays to go through the dye?

**If you want to critize me for tanning and give me a speech about how I'll get skin cancer blahblahblah... keep it to yourself, I don't care, that's not why I asked this question :]

the UV rays penetrate deep into your skin. esp UVA rays which cause premature aging. and UVB rays are what make you tan. but you can definetly get tanner if you are wearing self tanner!

i have my belly button pierced now for about a month and ive had it pierced once before too(i took it out cause the skin kept getting smaller and smaller that the ring was going to fall out) so now i have it pierced again and it was perfect. now the skin is doing the same thing and getting thinner again. will it keep getting thinner or will it eventually get thick again? what could i do to make it stop thinning (link)

it kind of sounds like your body is rejecting the peircing.
i have mine pierced and it hasn't done that.
i would go to the place you got it done at and ask them about it since i'm sure they have had a lot of experience!

thats pretty much all i can think of.
oh and try thinking of stuff to think about now and write it down on a peice of paper. but don't take the paper with you. just try to remember stuff from it. it will help, you don't want any awkward silent moments :)

and actually pbteen.com has ADORABLE ideas.
though it is kinda pricey.
target also has cute bedding and stuff.
and if you go to lowes or home depot they have like 20 books FULLLL of amazingly cute ideas and stuff :)

How can i get paint back onto my computer after deleting it? as someone hs deletd it and i go to download it but i only get a stupid version that doesnt even look like paint.. ? (link)

you can actually go in your computer settings and reset the date on your computer and it will restore everything to that date. i did that when i accidentally deleted a bunch of important programs on my laptop.
go to control panel >> performance & maintenence >> System Restore (which should be all the way on the left side under "see also") >> Restore my computer to an earlier time >> next >> and follow the directions and stuff :)

i know this doesn't really answer your question but primer doesn't really work.
i'v used primer before and it wasn't cheap either it was like $17 for a little 1.5 ounce bottle, i think it was by urban decay or bare minerals but save your money. it doesn't really do anything.

I just remembered a game that I used to play on the computer years ago.

I was just wondering if anyone knew the name of the game.
Here's a description:
The character in the game was a rabbit, there were two different ones, and you had to go though all these levels to rescue a princess.
I remember that shift was the jump button...if it helps.

i have never been to that website before but i know how to do that on photoshop.
you have to start out with one picture and layer another one on top of it and make the top layer opaque.
i just looked at that lunapic website. its pretty cool. go to effects and then the first option is to blend two images together.
i think if you upload the pictures its pretty self explanitory =]
