ok so im getting braces this thursday but before that i need to make a decision whether to get the clear or colored ones. the clear ones are NOT invisilign just to let you know the clear ones are basically the same as the colored ecept they match the color of you teeth. now the thing is with the clear ones if you eat something like chocolate, your braces would turn brown which i dont really want to happen but they say it doesnt happen if you brush your teeth a lot (which i do) but like in school if i have like a chocalate bar or something i cant brush my teeth in school and the other thing is pratically all my friends have the colored ones and i really havent seen many people with the clear ones.
can someone help me figure out what to decide?

can't decide? well i say go with the colored. i'm not trying to copy all the other ppl. that suggested the same thing, it's just that you'll probably look better with it. if you use clear and you're eating food the food that gets stuck w/in your braces will be very noiticable. in the colored ones it will also be noticable but it'll blend in sooner or later. As tempting as it may sound i think it's best you wait. this guy/girl is in a relationship and i don't think he/she would want to ruin it by bringing another person in. put yourself in that person's shoes and see how it feels. and if she/he really does like you he/she will dump that girl/boy and go for you. :)

you're a sister from another mother! it's natural 2 feel the future when you're predicting what it's going to be like. i went through the same cycle but it didn't end up the way i wanted it to end up. the point is that even though things don't end up the way you want it 2 end up just know you have friends and family members 2 support you :) well if you want to tell him that you like him and you're wondering if he likes you, then ask a friend you trust if she could go tell him that you like him. that's a very easy and less embarrassing way to send the message. hey! sorry 2 break you down, i wouldn't get excited if i were you. sometimes guys like to torture girls. like this guy that you may like might not be totally into you, he just might be that flirt buddy, that likes to mess w/ your mind. but he might alwayz like you though!! if he gives you like the cutest remarks, talks about you you when your not around, looks at you in way that makes you think he WANTS you or your friends, or even calls you then all that means he may like you!! even if he is shy this may also may be the reason why he hesitates sometimes.

My friend, Austin, used to be overweight and lost a bunch of weight two summers ago. I lost a lot of weight too but not as much as her.
The thing that bothers me is that she calls everyone fat, if someone has an inch of flab -anywhere-, she'll call them a cow. Especially is she's mad at them.
She also thinks that anyone who is overweight is disgusting and lazy. She won't even consider -looking- at a guy who is a pound overweight.
She's not exactly skinny. She worries about her "gut" which is like a pound of flesh on her tummy (it's tiny) and I'm not fat but I'm bigger than some of the girls she makes fun of. I am more understanding though and I wouldn't secretly pick on people because of their weight.
Austin and I are like best friends. So does she think I'm a cow too? How can she look down on all these girls who aren't even all that fat and not look down on me? (link)

personally, i don't think she is looking down on you because she is your best friend. i think it's time to have "that talk" with her. tell her it isn't nice to judge people according to their look(size) and if she still doesn't understand that bring back the old times when she use to be a little overweight! i think you're an excellent friend for not making fun of people because of their weight. keep up the good work, don't forget to get your friend in check!!!!!!!

I'm 13/f, and I think that I have a fairly developed and mature voice for my age. I got admitted to a very advanced choir when I was 11, which is pretty young for the choir. I'm a Soprano II, and the thing is, I can't help losing confidence around the 16+ crowd, especially when lots of them are really, really good and preparing to become opera singers and such. I know that I'm only 13 and my voice is developed for my age (emphasize "for my age." The older kids have much more mature voices), I shouldn't be compared to older kids and this is a dumb shallow worry when there are people starving in India, but I just can't shake my feelings. Does anyone know what I mean?

it's okay 2 feel nervous or under level it's PERFECTLY OKAY" just always try and keep your confidence up! and just alwayz remember that YOU got into a choir when you were only 11 ! and you also know that when you grow your voice matures so it's ALL GOOD. i don't even know you but i know that you can make it even when it seems likr your not the best ssinger in your chorus group!!!:) good luck:)

Ok well I've liked this boy for some time now. Like 6 years. I just dont know what to do I think he likes me but not sure. We were best friend but we both went to new schools this year and well we kind of arnt that close anymore. if you're trying to find out if he likes you, start trying to notice the signs. see if he flirts aroung w/ you or makes flirtable remarks. eventually if he does do anything quite suspicious just know he's into you!!!:) stay in contact w/him don't leave the connection hanging!sooner or later you'll find out he's into you and you'll be much happier than you've expected!! I'm not that used to doing this kind of stuff so pardon me if this is kind of strange. Alright so this girl and I have known eachother since the summer when she came over to babysit my younger sisters. This summer we spent everyday with one another hanging out and stuff. (Im also a sophmore in high school & shes in 8th grade so shes just 2 years younger than me). Now that school has started for us and since we dont go to the same schools we barley see one another anymore. Though at the end of the summer I told her how I felt about her and that I really liked her and she said she felt the same way. Though now a few monthes later here we are, my feelings have grown stronger for her but she says she doesnt like me anymore and never will again. Im so confused about where I stand and she tells me to move on and like someone else but I cant. For a few weeks she was all I dreamnt about and I feel so strongly about her.. I'm not sure whats going on. Is this some kind of test for her? Why is she saying this stuff to me... I feel so stupid for falling for a youger girl and making such a big deal about this. Theres this guy that i thought i liked. I liked him to. Well Today we had an arguement.Becuase i had told one of his friends that i didnt want to talk to him anymore. Well my friend told him, so then he knew. Ok. so today he calls me and ask why i dont want to talk to him anymore? i actually thought like, wow he cares enough to call me and ask. that must mean something right? i dont know, but anyways so i tell him why because he doesnt call me or take the time to IM me or anything. so he tells me why, and the reasons kind of personal, but trust me it was a good reason. so of course i let it go. so then he tells me. well i love you, and stupid me i said it back. ok so it seems like everythings good and all right? but wrong. later today we decided to hang out with my friends shawn and derek, well shawn and derek have been my friends since ever. their some of my really really good friends.so when im around them, i dont know its just crazy . so we were hanging out at my house and stuff. me shawn derek and the guy im in love with {kyle}. so kyle i guess isnt very good at trying to fit in the conversations i guess. i mean you really cant especially since me shawn and derek like nonstop crazineess. but anyways so we were hanging out, and to kyle i guess he saw it as me flirting with them bc we were laughing over stupid things and talking about some peverted stuff. i thought it was funny, well kyle i guess didnt like it so much. cause he didnt talk the entire time. neither did he laugh. so what am i suppose to do? im not going to be like beggin him to join in the conversation. so w/e. so kyle decided to go upstairs and hang with my brothers. well since me and shawn and derek are practically drunk, we werent drinking though we were just laughing at the stupidest things, bc we havent gotten together this whole entire break yet so there was alot to talk abot. but w/e. so were laughin like really retarded. and kyle tells my brother that i have the most annoying laugh, and the gayest laugh ever. and hearing this i was like wtcrap?? like i mean its something completely stupid. but since i care so much about him, it reallyhurts even though its something totally dumb. im just really hurt, bc at first he said that he loved me then he was just talking behind my back? i dont know but im really depressed right now. i know its kinda my fault bc i wasnt giving him attention and stuff, but thier my friends im not going to just dump them.but it really hurts to hear something like this from him. what should i do? I use 2 have that same problem. i feels like life is going down a whole and you just want to escape from everything! right? well i kniw where you're coming from,you are depressed and need 2 talk 2 someone you can trust! you have lots of problems on your mind and you just want them 2 go ALL away. they'll go away someday just not now. you have 2 let it ALLLLLL out, trust me, you'll feel relieved and a whole lot better! just do what i told u b 4, talk to someone and tell them how you feel or you could just talk to your mom or dad and explain to them how you feel! if it's them that's bothering you they'll understand and treat you a whole lot better than before.
