i like my good friend jake & about a month ago his friend told me he liked me. then about a week ago his other friend asked me if i liked him & i said yes. so now that jake knows i like him, i don't know what to do. we haven't talked, but he seems to send messages from his friends to me.
he's a very shy so i know he's scared to ask me out, so should i do it? i'm a pretty bold person, but i'm scared to ask him out because i'm not sure what will happen. i know he likes me but he could still act weird and say no. he's not exactly the most mature guy & he might just do what his friends say or something.
the fair is coming up. should i wait for him to come to me, or should i go up to him? if i should go up to him, should i ask him out? if i should, how would i say it? i just really need help!
ewww... if the fair is comming up thats perfect... go on as many rides as possible with him...make sure he asks you to go on some.. not you asking him everytime.. but if you dont talk to him that much... be careful, dont be too forward, i dont think you will but if he is shy it could scare him away.

you did not loose your virginity.. it just sounds like you "popped your cherry", and that can happen while playing sports or when using a tampon... idk how likely it is.. but you are still a virgin unless you have had sex (with another person)... not masturbating.
Hi, I've read alot of the answers you left people and you sound really into excersizing so I need some tips. I want to lose fat all around my body, but mostly my stomach and thighs. I need an excersizing plan and a diet plan. Please help.
sure... yeah i am.. i love excersizing... k well i dont exactly know what to tell you if you have read the other ones... but heres a run down.. im probably going to sound like a health teacher... but you gain weight because you are taking in more calories than you burn off... so if you want to lose weight.. you want to do the opposite... basically start off by going easy on junk food, and fast food, at first its hard... but after a couple weeks you dont even have an appatite for them.. you get into a habbit of not eating them... thats why i give up frinch fries, soda, and cookies during lint... dont get me wrong its ok to eat some... just not a ton.. and if you do it wont hurt... its just if you do alot.. or on a regular basis... but to make it the easiest on yourself in the long run.. my advise is to completly say no for a couple weeks.. no sneeking.. it makes it harder to give up... thats step 1... now lets talk about fitness... im not too sure what your intrest are.. but the key is to find something you love to do...i play tennis and run... running will give you great legs.. if you run you break down the muscle then you want to lift (lighter weights more reps... ex 30 lbs 20 reps 2 sets) you want to find a weight that it starts getting difficult towards the end... when you lift and run you will get toned legs... if you are not a big one on lifting... dont worry about it... thats just bonus... the stomach i think is the easiest to get under control... when i gain weight it goes straight to my stomach.. so i know how to lose it there too... idk if you have an mc sports or anything like that... but you want to buy a medicine ball... probably one thats 4lbs and one thats 6... i find it the easiest to do sittups while watching tv... but ill tell you a bunch of different sittup excersizes... ones that i think are pretty good.. its going to be hard to explain so bare with me
-- suitcase crunches- bend your knees and hips at 90* angles or a little less so your feet are off the ground.. the crunch your upper body with your hands behind your head so your elbows touch your knees... that pretty much works lower and upper
-- side sittups/ crunches- lay on you side and yeah
-- toe touches- extend your legs straight up in the air and touch your toes.. or you can put a med ball on your forhead and do crunches
--back extentions- you feel like a fish doing this one... but lay on your stomach and arch your back so your feet and head come off the ground... it gives you a sexy back
-- two count sittups- crunch up to a 45 angle and hold it for a sec or two then go up all the way.. hold and slowely lower down
there's a few... basically you can make them up... but keep going when you feel the burn.. like do ten more when you start to feel it, then switch to the other side... basically anything that keeps tention on your abbs will give you a flat tummy/ six pack in no time
also remember to drink lots of water, and stretch.. when you stretch you lengthen your muscles so they will get longer and leaner faster : ) tell me if that helps
can anyone give me any advice on how to properly tweeze my eyebrows because I currently had them waxed about 4 days ago and small eyebrow hairs are starting to appear.
hmm well i would get a good pair of tweezers( i love tweezerman.. i got mine at trade screte, but im sure wallgreens, or many beauty salons would have them) and tweeze after you get out of the shower... your pores are open and its alot less painful and easier to pluck the hairs.... ohh sorry and i also should have told you that it is easier to pluck if you pull from the opposite direction of hair growth or i kinda do straight out.... but seriously tweezerman... i love them they are miracle workers
I have this friend he's a guy hes one of my best friends and everyone time he goes out with another girl i sorta get jelous i dont know why though...i just cant really figure out if i like him more then a friend
i think you should read the book summer boys by hailey abbott... there is a girl in there who has the same problem. i dont read books and i found it really good
i'm 15, i way around 115 pounds, i'm a size 3-4 in jeans, i think my butt is way too big for my body, i have a bunch of stomach and thigh fat, and i'm only 5'2. sometimes i feel like i don't have enough confidence or self esteem because of all these issues i have with myself. i'm 5'2 with a big butt, i no that sounds funny but i need to get rid of it. if i was taller then my butt wouldn't look so big. but i'm short and i have a small head plus my legs are HUGE and i'm a size 4 in jeans! please give me some advice on how to lose weight as fast as possible especially in the stomach, butt and thigh section thank you
well it really does not sound like you are fat... but i am a huge fitness girl.. and if you want to shed a couple pounds and make your stomach smaller.. i can help.. well i would get a med ball and do different types of sittups (side crunches, suitcase crunches, leg raises, extend your legs in the air and touch your toes, two count sittups, or anything that would keep tension on your abbs).. i like to do them while watching tv.. and keep going when you feel the burn that will deffinatly flatten your stomach and you will be on your way to a six pack... for the butt and legs.... running can help a ton.. when you run you break down your muscle in your legs.. if you lift weights after you run you will build tone... if you want smaller legs i would run... for the butt... lay on your side and do leg lifts... most important thing is to keep tention on your butt the hole time... k another thing that can help you is to stretch... when you stretch your muscles get longer and leaner.. and you will have alot more tone... ok then to help even more... when you are hungry reach for some fruite (i love peaches and bananas).. if you take in less calories than you burn you will lose weight... also drink more water than soda.. you will feel better.. i tend to think soda can make me feel bloated (big stomach)... but trust me on the workouts.. (the senior guys voted me to have the best legs out of our school... and i was a sophmore)
There's this guy at my work whom I'm interested in. I'm into him mainly because he seems like a very nice, smart, hardworking guy. I'm quitting this job in about a month so I'm not worried about anything interferring with work. I know that he's single for sure, otherwise I wouldn't consider dating him. We've rarely spoken, but I believe he he may be interested in me too because of some signs he shows. For instance, whenever we pass by each other, he says hello to me in a nice soft way with a great looking smile. The way he smiles at me and the way he smiles to other people are different. When he smiles at me, he tends to look at me significantly longer than other girls and it just seems kind of familiar. It's hard to explain. We never actually talked before, we only exchanged a few words, but for some reason, we smile at each other like we already know each other. The first time we saw each other from a distance, it seemed like our eyes locked in and I cracked a little smile and so did he. Sometimes when I sense someone looking at me and I turn around and catch him looking at me, he looks the other way. When we pass by each other I sometimes see him look back at me. When he sees me coming to work in the same area he's working in, his face kind of lights up and smiles and says hello in a nice soft way. However, these little signs don't fill me with enough confidence that he finds me attractive.
You may be thinking, "If he really likes you, he would've asked you out already." Well, this guy seems shy and a bit insecure and we rarely get a chance to talk. He seems like the type of guy who wouldn't want a girl to know that he likes her if he wasn't sure if she likes him, too. He just seems like he would be too shy to ask a girl out.
I don't know if I should consider making any moves on this guy because I'm not totally sure that he likes me. Normally if I like a guy, I would try to have conversations with him before making a move to get to know him better, to see if he likes me and to find out if we're compatible. But in this case, it's difficult because most of the time we have different work schedules. When we do work in the same hours, there's rarely an opportunity for us to talk because we work in different sections of the store that are far apart and obviously because we're too busy working.
I have a few questions:
What indications would tell me that this guy finds me attractive and is interested in dating me, if he's a shy person and we rarely get a chance to talk?
Should I just stop worrying about having conversations with him at work and quit trying to find out if he likes me for sure because of our different schedules?
Should I let him know that I like him by telling him that I find him attractive and wait for him to make the first move or should I just approach him first and ask him out?
If I should make the first move, where, when, and how should I do it?
ok well i think he likes you... sometimes you can just get little feelings that a guy does.. and i think he does... im a girl and not a big one on making the first move... but i would for sure start flirting w/ him... maybe not so obvious... kind of joking flirting... he seems like a shy guy.. so i would not be forward at all.. you might scare him... but look cute to work.. smile and say high... look at him like wow dont no how to describe it.. like you are happy to see him.. but not increadbly happy that you freak him out... make him want you... i think if you flirt more.. maybe ask him to go get something to eat on the lunch break... i am 99% positive something will happen and i wouldnt be too sure u might end up a little together before you are done with work
I know the subject makes it sound like I don't know if he like me or not... BUT THAT ISN'T THE QUESTION. This guy started liking me so I liked him eventually. Then he asked me on a date or something and I said yes. He asked me on the date over AIM and he made it sound like we were going out.. which I was fine with. Now some people say 'your going out with brittany' and he says 'no, we are just gunna hang out'. So.. I guess my question is, how can I get him to like me again. We are still going on a double-date tomorow to go to the mall and see a movie. I am 14/f and he is 14/m. I know some people may say 'play hard to get', but if you say that, please include ways I can do that. Please no critisizing about my situation because I left out some less important parts so it wouldn't be super long.. as in you don't really know the whole story. I RATE!!
geez... well he could be saying that you are not going out because he is worried what you would think.. maybe he doesnt know if you would want to be or not... but i would not ask him out if you are not for sure if he likes you... if you are going on a date.. look hot extreemly hot.. and he started to like the you before you liked him.. so act yourself dont get clingy and weird and shy.. i no its hard not too... but act like you did to him before you knew he liked you... be the cool one on the date... if his friend thinks you are really cool that is major bonus points... what friends think can mean alot to guys
Ok well my bestfriend, she was like my bestfriend ever & like now I just feel like shes replacing me with one of her other friends. cause she used to be like a sister to me and now like we barley talk & i tried to talk to her about it & ask her if she was trying to replace me and she even said i dont know. it really hurts and i was like crying for a while trying to think everything over & i just dont know what to do cause i love her shes like my sister & i deffently dont wanna stop being friends with her. I dont know what to do to make her understand cause talking to her wont work? any other sugjestions? =/
this sort of happened to me... ive had this bestfriend since second grade.. but a couple years ago she started to hang out w/ another girl more... and was kinda rude to me... well i think it is just a phase because she got over it... and my advice is dont freak her out.. if you have already said something to her.. dont keep calling her and asking her to do stuff... let her go on her own w/ this other girl for a while.. and wait... if you have any classes together or play sports become friends through that again.. but u should hit the bestfriend stage really fast.. and after you do.. wait a while... and then talk to her about it... be like yeah u hurt my feelings blah blah balh.. then shed probably be like really im sorry... she could also just be on her period.... but just give her some space
Hiya, I was supposed to come on my period on Monday(24th) and i still havent. I did a pregnancy test and it came out negative. So why havent i come on my period? Im still really worried. I have heard you can be a few days late but can you miss a period comepletely? Any advice would be great.
for sure... you can definattly miss your period.. i do all the time... and no ive never been pregnet... if you are really active your body sometimes doesnt store enough fat for you to start your period.... i run track and play tennis and i think i only had one during track season... and if you are tall or skiny you can skip too
Does anyone know of a workout i can do with fun excersizes like riding a bike ...but in a 2 hour time period..But i can do any swimming i hate it, thanks alot XOXOX
i am huge on fitness, i play tennis and run track, basically i love any sport... and no im not a tom boy (even though im a girl)... but something you could try.. might sound a little dorkey... ddr... i tried it around christmas and fell in love with it... and no im not a nerd either.. but when you get good that can give you a workout... have you ever tried rock climbing?... if this was me i would grab my ipod and just run (but i love to run)

it sounds like you are worried about you're weight... well the way you gain weight is by eating more calories than you burn... you can eat as much of w/e you want as long as you excersize... alos if you are young or in ur teens.. you're metabolism is still active so you wont gain too much weight too fast, it will want to mantain the same weight... but if you are conserned you are taking in too many calories.. go a little easy.. maybe skip the cookies or eat 1 instead of like 7, or when you want a snack eat some fruit (i love peaches) instead of fries... basically you really dont have to watch you calorie intake at all as long as you excersize : ) but if u want help w/ that im huge on working out (not lifting weights really) but being active and could give you some good tips
