I used to have Paint Shop Pro that someone burned for me but I felt guilty for using it because I knew how illegal that was. I deleted it & decided I would just download the trial because I knew that I had money coming so I could *buy* the full version. Needless to say, I was unable to successfully download the trial version. Near the end of the downloading process, this is what happens:
Error 1931. The Windows Installer service cannot update the system file C:\WINDOWS\...\msvcp60.dll because the file is protected by Windows. You may need to update your operating system for this program to work correctly.
Then I click okay and it continued downloading...
Then another box comes up that says: Files that are required for Windows to run properly have been replaced with unrecognized versions. To maintain system stability, Windows must restore the original versions of these files. Insert your Windows XP Home Edition CD-ROM now.
The only problem is, I never got that CD-ROM. My computer came with Windows XP & I never got a disk with it.
Then I click Cancel... & obviously that is unsuccessful because it comes up again but I click cancel on that.
Then one last box comes up and says: Error 1933. This setud requires Internet Information Server 4.0 or higher for configuring IIS Virtual Roots. Please make sure that you have IIS 4.0 or higher.
I click okay & the installation rolls back action.
I had this program before, it's just when I tried downloading it, it wasn't working. I've tried everything, different versions from different sources. I'm going crazy trying because I love this program & I use it alot. If you anyone could help me I would give you the highest rating ever & deffinetly owe you one because I'm in desperate need of help! ♥
okay, well you need to call the windows xp place or you local network to send you the cd. that means that you have to basically start off from scratch. thats what i had to do.

I'm really pale. Like reallly really pale. And my mom said that I can't go to a tanning bed because I guess the type of skin I have I can get skin cancer really easily if I get burnt (I know everyone can get skin cancer, but I have a higher chance or something) so she said that I can get the spray on or mystic tanning. So I have a few questions...
1. Does it make you turn orange? I've heard that it does, I've heard that it doesn't. Which is it?
2. Is it possible to have an allergic reaction or something like that?
3. How much does it usually cost?
4. Can you just go to like a regular tanning place to get it?

some self tanning stuff makes you turn orange.. it depends on what kind you get. yes, you can get a allergic reaction. it usually costs about.. 3 something. you may be able to go to a tanning place but im not sure.
I do not understand IP addresses at all. What are they for? How can you track someone through them? I know everyone has one and they are used for internet purposes. I just don't know what purposes or why someone would want to know someone else's. This all arose when I saw something that said when you go in the advicenators chatroom (I believe using the CGI thing) everyone can see it. I wasn't sure if that was good or bad. So can someone please explain to me what this is for?

I think there should be a requirement on this website saying "PEOPLE SHOULD BE FAMILIAR WITH A TOPIC BEFORE SUBMITTING THEIR PERSONAL OPINIONS". Frankly, I feel this is a helpful and useful site. But far to often, people are excercising their "freedom of speech" rights, and disguising their opinions as bonifide advice.
What set me off was a question asked by a friend of a gay male teen. A large majority of the answers were hateful diatribes delivered by self-righteous homophobes. From the advice you would of thought that her friend had leaprosy. Life is too short to HATE.
I had a good friend in high school that was the son of a youth pastor. The son, my friend, was gay. He chose to kill himself rather than live a life hating himself because he was gay. I did not know he was gay until after he died. I have so many woulda-coulda-shoulda's. Much of my advice on this website is given to those that are gay or know someone who is gay. To me, this is common sense. How can someone who is not gay, does not associate with anyone who is gay, has never associated with anyone who is gay, HOW CAN THEY give advice on a subject dealing with being GAY. I cannot give advice to someone about what it is like to give birth to a baby!! I cannot even attempt anything as such for I do not understand what mothers go through. Its silly. Now imagine if I was trained by others to believe that giving birth to a baby is disgusting and I hated mothers. This analogy is outlandish, but this is how I feel about the "advice" many people give.
Now throughout this "STATEMENT" I do have a question. What do you think? Help me to understand. Am I judging the judgemental, making me just as bad? Or do I have a point? This is the one time that I'd like to hear the opinions.

I have a big problem with my hair - I love the length of it, it comes down to the middle of my back, but it is very very thick. Not only is it very thick but it has a tendency to become frizzy after washing. My hair is naturally wavy, but when I brush through it the frizz gets worse.
Can anybody help me keep it under control?

This kid is probably just experimenting with you. He may be younger but he does know what body parts you have and stuff. If you dont feel alright with him touching you and being around him then I say quit the job but make up your own decision.

Hey. First of all my name is Jennifer and me and my husband have been married 2 years.Me and my husband constantly fight over the smallest little things and its making him tell me things like its over and he regrets being with me. For example today we got into a fight because I asked him what was wrong and he went off on me to leave him alone it turns out that he was tired but he couldnt just come out and tell me in a nice way he has to be mean about it. And I did not leave him alone I kept bugging him and I dont know what to do because he threw his ring at me and went to work. When he tells me to leave him alone I cannot do that. For some reason I have to be ok with him in order to get through the day. What can I do to show him more respect that I do really care whats going on with him without him putting up his defences? I dont know what to do I really am not ready to have my marriage be over but I dont know how to change but I know I have to?
Maybe you need time away from your husband. If your husband cant say anything nice to you when this happens maybe you just need time away. If he "regrets being with you" then maybe one day when you get mad you should say it to him. Then he knows exactly what he said and knows how it feels.
