This is a long story, but I could use the help. First of all - when I like a guy, I like him a LOT, I never stop thinking about him.
In this case, I met this boy John from my friend Sean. A couple months ago at a football game I was talking to Sean and then John came up to talk to both of us, and I had never met him before. He was absolutely the best guy I've ever met - I swear! A simple 5 minute conversation and he was already one of my favorite people (we hardly even talked just between us though, we were all kind of joking around). I didn't like him yet though. I just thought he was really cool.
So since then it's just been every time we see each other in the halls at school we'd wave or say hi. He isn't in any of my classes and he is a year older than me. Soon after that football game though I realized that I had felt completely comfortable talking to him right away. I am usually pretty shy when it comes to new people. It was amazing how comfortable I was with him, like I'd known him forever, and the more I thought about it, the more I liked him. Now I think he's just the most adorable guy ever. I've talked to one of my good guy friends who knew him a few years ago and he can't say anything bad about John. Apparently he was one of the coolest guys he ever met also.
Recently I talked to another one of my guy friends, Brian, and he said he remembers one time around the week of that football game, he was at a swim meet with John. Brian texted his friend that he was mad at him because he almost made a move (on his girlfriend) but his friend ruined it. John read it and said "Who (my name)??", then Brian said no, and John said "She's pretty hot eh?" All according to what Brian told me. I flipped when I heard it lol.
Well, so far, it's been hi in the halls for the past 2 1/2 months or so. I don't want this to just fizzle out, but I don't want to directly tell him we need to hang out because I hardly know him and I never have the chance to talk to him since we only see each other in the halls.
Brian said he would try to talk to him soon and maybe that would help, but I just want to know if you have any suggestions as to how I could get John to notice me?

I have damaged my vocal chords pretty bad from over-singing and over-using them the past couple years. I am a singer& I have a show coming up in about 1 1/2 weeks.

hey, well im 13/f and im done almost everything but go all the way with my boyfriend. it might sound slutty to some people on this site, but im not ashamed at all. you should ask her if shes ready for that kind of stuff before you make your moves. also if you guys do stuff, keep it just between you and her. dont let the whole school know, because most girls dont like that stuff advertized.
this question is mostly for guys. but if any girls have guy friends or boyfriends that tell them, then this is for you too! do guys like when you have anything on your lips when you kiss them? i mean like lip gloss, lip stick, chapstick, nothing, etc. i mean wahts their preference and does anything annoy them? thanks in advance!
hey, well most guys dont like lipgloss because its too sticky. they just like simple chapsticks that are like strawberry flavored. something subtle but tastes good.

I am about 5'2 and weigh 180. 14/F.
I know it seems bad but I want to stop. I eat everything. Mostly junk but I don't know why because I'm not really that hungry I'm guess I'm just.....bored. I wan to lose weight but i don't know how and my family are never home so I don't want to talk about it because I've tried and forgot so I reminded them and forgot again. How can I lose weight without them knowing that I'm dieting. Any suggestions on what to do to get the weight off, and not just diet and exercise? More specific please.
hey, well keep yourself occupied. get involved in activities. that way you wont think about food. not to put pressure on you but at 5`0 your suppose to be 100 pounds. everytime you go up in height, your suppose to add 5 pounds. therefore you should be 110 pounds. thats 70 pounds to loose. i think that you should join a gym with a friend. its better to join with a friend because thats more motivation. you wont want to be embarassed so your going to give it your all while excersising. theres really notihng else because 70 pounds is a lot to loose by just keeping healthy and dieting. crunches will make you gain more muscle, but the fat will still be there.

Um I caan't wear high heels for this wedding I'm attending and I have really ugly feet so I guess I'm gonna have to go with platform shoes. Anyone suggests anything? Is there a way to make my feet look more pretty? It's clean but it's just an ugly feet. Like everyone in my family all were high heels and have really pretty feet but I can't and my family keeps saying I have ugly feet which makes me sad =(

In the summer holidays me and my family (mum, dad, bruv)are going to Spain. I really want my best mate to come (she wants to come as well).
My mum did mention her coming before but not since. Also, I know she might be able to because 've been to Edinburgh and center parcs with her which is a lot of money, and mum wants to take her somewhere with us. I just don't know about Spain.
But, the question is, what is the right way to ask mum whether my best friend can come?

so i have had this sore throat for like.. 5 days now. it only hurts my right tonsil. and its not even like a regular sore throat. it hurts the most in the morning & i usually dont feel it during the day unless i swallow. but when i do, it feels like someone is stabbing my right tonsil with a pencil or something. i wake up with these really like.. pressure-ish headaches on the top of my head. i usually only get headaches on the sides of my head. also, i know this sounds gross.. but whenever i sniffle and then swallow, i can feel like.. all of the snot. and gross loogeys like in my throat
does any1 know what my problem is?!

hey, well your a pretty girl. im not going to lie to you, you could do some extra things to gain prettyness. you should thin out your eyebrows a bit. maybe do some highlights and staighten your hair. as for makeup, i like maybelline eyeliner applied to only the bottom. for mascara, i would use a curved brush. before you apply wipe the wand so that theres no clumps. add some bronser and covergirl coverup.
