Well, you see i was over-weight
i was 30 kilos over my healthy weight, i lost 20 and i'm about to loose the other 10 until summer but the problem is i have extra skin between my thighs, abit in my stomach and my hands.
What should i do to lose them?
Thanks
Congratulations!
I, also, am losing weight (50 lb & counting)...but have way more to lose than you do, so wish me luck.
Anyways, tightening loose skin is probably more difficult than the actual weight loss itself.
You could try working out with weights...this would probably be especially functional for loose skin on the arms (chicken wings).
As for the stomach, I'd suggest crunches or some other kind of ab workout. Crunches sound awful but if you elevate your calves onto something high like a chair while you're on the floor, the pressure is no longer put on your back while doing them...it's great!
The easiest way is surgery, but it's also the most expensive and leaves scars. I'd suggest trying weights before resorting to surgery because of not only the reasons above, but trying to work out enough to get rid of excess skin will be difficult, so it will also be a test of will. If you pay all that money for surgery and then gain the weight back, the skin will stretch again & you'll be left with extra stretch marks as a result of the loss of elasticity in the skin. Just think it through according to your needs.
I am 13 and female, and Im a little lost here... So there are these three boys, let's call them boy X, boy Y and boy Z. (Bky X may sound familiar to a few of you who have read my previous questions.)
Here it goes. See, I have had a crush on X for a looooong time (like 2 years!) and I am really close to him. I like him a lot and he understands me and, gosh, he is just perfect. However, even though he though he likes me too, he cannot date until he is 16 (as I said, I am 13, but he is 14 and thats like ANOTHER 2 years). Now, I just think I can wait that long, nor does he expect me to but I REALLY like him!!
Okay some of you have told me to just forget about X (yeah right, like I haven't tried and failed at THAT already..). But there IS this one boy, Y. Y is probably the most adorable and wonderful boys and I do, I honestly do really like him, and I want so badly for me to like him more than X, but I don't. I really want to like him because I know he would be a great guy for me and has shown an interest, but X is just... I don't know, X is just too perfect, even though our relationship won't go anywhere... And frankly, you can't control who you like... But if any of you know how you can, please, enlighten me!
Then there is Z. Z is very sweet (and kind of has a crush on me) and he knows how much I like X and also kinds of hates him because X can't date me. But I mean, X can't do anything about that, its his religion... Buy Z is always telling me how I can't wait around for X, but sometimes I wonder if Z just says that because he likes me... And Z says that if I was dating him that he would appreciate me and so on but, and i feel horrible saying this because Z really is a sweet boy, but I just don't like Z like that...
Ugh, I know, I know, this is all messed up. I don't know what to do! I really like X and I want things to work so much, because I know we would be perfect for eachother, but our relationship can't go anywhere, and thats not X's fault right?? But on the other side I feel horrible because I feel like I am leading Y on, and then there is the Z situation, and ugh. I just want to cry. Please help!!
Um, what does Z mean, you can't wait around for X?
You're 13. You have plenty of time to wait for whomever you want to. It's not like you're middle-aged or have a certain amount of time left to live. He probably is saying that because he likes you. However, you still shouldn't focus just on X. If some other letter comes along and you like him, don't ignore him for X. Also, I'm not saying that X is a liar, but are you sure that he likes you? Are you sure it isn't a case of...he doesn't like you, but doesn't want you to be sad, so he tells you his religion only permits dating at 16 years old? I'm not trying to upset you because, as far as I know, you could have some form of confirmation disproving the above suggestion. Just be wary. If he's lying, look in another direction. If not, wait....if you want to :)
I'm 13 years old and my main dream is to become a model. I've tried all the modeling websites on how to get started and all asked me for my credit card number.. Nothing seems to be working out at all and I want to get a good head start before I get to old. What do I do now??
Not to say that I have any experience in this area, but, where I live--which is a gross place not worth mentioning...we get everything last--every so often, at least once a year, there's some sort of audition for movie extras, for which you need to be 16, I think. But that's only three years away and perhaps if you call certain agencies that specialize in child acting/modeling/etc, you'll get your foot in the door and if you end up auditioning for an extra later on, they may see your name and remember whatever impression you left on them.
im a dark skinned girl. like hispanic, indian dark. and i want to get eye shawdow that will stand out and look good on me and cheap. like walmart any ideas?
Believe it or not, dark-skinned girls are able to wear eyeshadow better than light-skinned girls.
I know because I am translucent-white, and I see darker-skinned girls at MAC and I also do makeup on my friend, who is dark-skinned, frequently enough to know that the darker your skin is, the more you can get away with. Metallics will stand out on your skin. Depending on the look you're trying to achieve, you'll probably have multiple options for each. For more information, ask me.
this is for girls...or guys who know what they're talking about.
Do you know what they call the hair on the side of your face? I know guys call theirs side burns but are they also side burns for girls?
And also how do you get rid of them? I'm sure you don't shave it...do you wax it or something? Or just leave it alone?
Some people call it peach fuzz.
That's what I call it because what girl wants to tell the lady at the salon that she needs her sideburns waxed? Not me.
Never shave it. It won't grow back DARKER, regardless of what is said because that's a fallicy, but the angle at which it'll be hit by the light will make it appear darker and the blunt edge cut by the razor will cause it to appear thicker.
I used to wax mine until I was sick of the pain. Now I just pluck the ones that are noticable.
whats the best way to clean my bronzer brush. step by step would be helpful, but anything is helpful too!
thanks!
you could use makeup remover, brush it off, then let it dry.
Or you don't have to fool with the makeup remover at all and just take the brush and stroke it back and forth on a white facecloth until it doesn't leave anything on the cloth anymore.
