15/f. my school went on a field trip to an amusement park yesterday, and i put on sunscreen in the morning, but i forgot to reapply. so now i have sunburn on my nose and a little on my cheeks. what can i do to make it go away fast? i have already been putting on LOTS of lotion. but is there anything else i can do that i don't have to go out and buy? This is an interesting question. I wonder if you happened to go on the same trip I did yesterday. Let me introduce myself:

Sounds very much the same! Anyways, I use this stuff called After Sun that you can get at drug stores. Unfortunately you would have to go out and buy it, but it's definitely worth it. It takes away any stinging, smells decent, and quickly takes away the sunburn. I hope it helps!

my dad just bought me a phone like 3 months ago. the first time i got it i started to text. so since i have tmobile every text was 10 cent. so when the phone bill came i had texted 50 messages and tht was only 5.00 and my dad got so mad, he almost hit me. he said that i have to be responsible. so now 3 mmonths and i just found out that i texted 123 messages.thats 12.30 cents. i did so much texting becase recently i got my first boyfriend which my parents dont know about so we texted alot. and my dad doesnt want to put me a texting plan.he is going to be furuious i dont know what he will do to me i am scared. the next bill will come in about 14 days. how am i supposed to get $12.30. i dont work and my parents never give me allowence. well my mom gives me a dollar everyday i could just save up but then i wouldnt be able to eat. idont get free lunch at school.i am really scared. i dont know what to do. anmy ideas? comments. what should i do? how will i get the money? please help! thanks in advance

I feel for you. But I can offer you a bit of advice.
Do you have any special skills? Can you make great necklaces, bracelets or earrings? Are you good at pottary? Can you fix computers? Can you mow some lawns? Plant some flowers? If you have any kind of skill or hobby, you could try advertising your skill around your school and charging more that you paid to by materials (like string and beads or seeds/flowers) so you can make a small profit. Try packing a lunch from home the next two weeks for school or ask your friends to bring you a lunch if they'll sympathize with you in your time of need. I really hope everything works out for you. A little money should help your father realize that you worked for what you did and he should be proud of you. Also maybe an explanation of why you did it could help. But be sure that if he dares to actually hit you this time that you tell a guidence councelor or someone you can trust. It seems like you really need a good friend who will listen and not just get mad at you.

Aw, he seems really sweet. I've been here, though. I've dated someone even though he was not that cute. Because I loved him, I could get past the "not-so-cute"-ness and we had a great time going out together. Unfortunetely I eventually lost my love for him and then I became a bit uncomfortable with people teasing me about him. But teasing me (trying to make me ashamed of him, that is) only affected me after I didn't love him anymore. Once we had finally stopped going out, we remained friends, and we still are now. I think that you should ask yourself, "Would I mind holding hands (or more) with him in front of people?" and "Would I mind if everyone knew about us?" If your answer is no, then go for it. If your answer right now is yes, then I'd say that you should hold off for a bit and really get to know him well as a great friend. See what happens later, and remember, you can always ask yourself these questions at anytime.....about anyone!

I'm not sure exactly how many years it is for attempted murder, but make sure you report this. It's important that this person is kept behind bars for a while because that's a horrible thing to do.

I have been in a relationship with my partner for just about four years. I recently moved to another city to study, while he stays in my old town until the end of the year.
I moved away because I felt that I needed some space and our relationship hasn't been meaning as much to me as it used to for some time now.
Recently I met someone very special who I have pretty much fallen head over heels for. They feel the same way and I'd really like to be with that person - and I really am not the kind of person to be impulsive or fall for people easily. I really mean it when I say there is a special connection between us.
So I need to break up with my boyfriend - I don't want to carry on our relationship, even if things don't go anywhere with the other person, because the fact that I am feeling the way I do means it's not fair on either of us for our relationship to continue. But how do I do it? I am so scared, because I know he still loves me very very much and I don't want to hurt him, I think he's a great guy and he has been my friend since we were kids, but I'm just not in love with him any more. This is a really difficult situation so I'd really appreciate some advice. Thanks :) (link)

Wow, I could not have come across a better (or worse...you know what I mean) story. I am in almost the exact same situation as you, but I must say, I am younger (most likely). I am 14 years old. But still, I think we may be able to help each other: I have a boyfriend of three years, but our love isn't going anywhere. In September he went to high school, and I to my last year of middle school. I met a great guy, though, in his second to last year of middle school, who I really, really like, and he likes me back. He always smiles and looks right into my eyes when we talk; its just so wonderful. Anyway, I didn't know how to break it to my boyfriend, and have been fretting about the whole issue the past few days. I realized that I will just ask the guy I like for his screen name and get to know him while I am in a different school next year (now with my boyfriend....could this have POSSIBLY worked out any worse??) And after my summer job (spent with my boyfriend) I will let him go very easily. I know that he will be sad and it will be a hard thing for both of us, because I've been through it with him before (breaking up, then going back, because we weren't ready yet). But I want him to know that I'm ready to just be the friends that we truely are (because we havn't even kissed yet and we've gone out for a few years!) So I hope that you can do the same thing too and everything works out alright. My boyfriend often showed me that he loved me more than I loved him, which made me sort of pretend. But I am not going to do that anymore. Neither should you. Lets get through this together!

whenever i shave my armpits they never look like completely hair free. they are still a darker color where the hair should be. i want to get my to look like there was never any hair there, and i want it to blend in with my skin. how can i do this?
i already use a venus razor & shave cream. i've also tried using conditioner and it does the same thing.

you should use an electric razor. Its soo easy, quick, and doesn't require shaving cream and cannot cut you. I use one every three or four days and it really does the trick. Takes away some of the tan too, which is good in your case. Good luck!
