my mom and dad don't want me or my sister on myspace, and i've been sneaking on at my friends houses. aren't they're any sites that like...don't track it in your history? AND, i have parental blocks on my computer, and i wanted to know how to get around it...i also have AOL GUARDIAN on my account, so my mom knows what i'm doing all the time. if i use a different browswer, will it still record it?

Well, if you use a browser such as firefox, you can have it automatically clear the history, saved forms, etc. when you close it. The problem is you'll need to be able to download and install it. My advice is not to use myspace. It may have been originally used to find other bands and such but now it's used for much worse.

If that doesn't make sense to you... Which it should. It's basically saying that Myspace.com has the right, royalty free, to take any content posted and redistribute however they want. This includes your personal information. You're basically putting everything about you on a website that has been openly admitted to being monitored by the FBI and other government organizations to profile US citizens. Try another networking site, or better yet, don't do it at all. Your parents, for once, are right.

i wrote something here not to long ago here about my school and how much i hate it. i tried talking to my mother. she said that she knew how much i hated the school. but my school isn't just a high school... it has like every grade. but, i still wanted to apply to another high school last year because i hate my school with a passion. so, last year, she got the applications for me, and i started filling them out. the day they were due, she said that she wasn't going to submit the application..... so, i got stuck staying in this hell hole with a bunch of snobby people where the tuition is 20 thousand dollars a year and the stupid fucking headmistress won't even build us a gym or a cafeteria! but, builds everything else
i want to go to another school! so, today, i was talking to her and she said that she was going to call the headmistress and have a meeting with her and tell her that i could not attend her school anymore and that she would make my dream come true to go to another school and be a cheerleader. i dont understand what her problem is. 20 thousand dollars is a lot of money that we don't have! the only reason that i am able to go to this school is because of finantial aid! i cant pay a thousand seven hundred a month! and then, she suddenly changes her mind again after out! the people here treat me so badly and i don't know why. they all can't stand me and i don't know why. im a really nice person.
someone please... what can i tell her to get it through her head and have her take me out of here.. PLEASE! (link)

You could go to an extreme and simply get yourself kicked out. It's not hard. I went to a lame highschool myself, I just stopped going until my grades were so low that there was no reason to go back. Not the smartest choice in the world buy i'm not going there anymore, I just hang out a home and study for my IT exams...ahh good times.

i have a digital camera with that soft plastic screen like most of them have..and the actually screen didnt crack but theres like a cracklike effect in the screan and the colors are distorted and most of it is black..it turns on you just cant view ur pics..my question is..can this be fixed? or do i need to buy a totally new one? thanks! You may be able to fix it, but usually a broken LCD is just bad news. You could either just keep it and move the pictures to you computer and view them, or buy a new one.

Well, just look for free visual basic tutorials. You can find an ass load of tutorials. If you want free books, try opening an IRC client, connecting an undernet server, and going to the channel #bookz

Well, those are just hard drives, I don't believe that Sony has a default manufacturer for hard drives. So, in that, there's no way to tell.

I just installed dead aim 328 and when i launched aim nothing changed. it didnt do anything that the website said would happen?

Well, when you downgrade an application, sometimes it will automatically force you to use the latest version. I haven't ever heard of/used dead aim, but after reading the FAQ, you may need to actually uninstall AIM, find the folder that it uses in your program files directory and delete that also. It may even store a registry key, but that's beyond the area that your average user should mess with. Just uninstall aim, delete the file it uses and try again.

whenever i want to play a game on my computer that requires macromedia shockwave player, it doesnt go on at first, but then a screen comes up saying it is downloading it. after a few seconds though, a thing comes up that says "network error. please check your internet connection and try again" and then i can never play the game. my internet is working though, so i dont know why it says i have no internet connection. it has also said i have no internet connection with some other stuff that i have tried to download off of the internet. i don't know why it's saying this, because i am on internet explorer. is there any way to fix this? thanks. I bought my laptop around last july. I'm just wondering, can a computer have no microsolf to type on? the only thing i can actually type on is wordpad, which is dumb & has nothing i need. i NEED microsolf word and its on my computer but when i push it to go into it, a thing comes up asking for like the product key and stuff.

a) Illegally obtain a product key (this is really easy but I don't know your code of eithics)
b) Use a freeware alternative, ajax anyone?

okay so i had a sony windows 98 computer and now i have a new one.. but my mom was planning on putting it outside so someone could take it or something, so if someone were to take it would they be able to see all my documents on my old computer? (the sony windows 98 one) (link)

Like he said, the only way to be sure that they can't see your files is to remove the hard drive itself. I wouldn't be to worried about it, unless you've got a lot of warez or other illegal material on there, nobody will care.
If you worried about them getting a hold of credit card numbers or other private/banking info then you should either use a program such as DBAN

ok so each time i sign on to yahoo it wont let me see the messages i send, or the ones i recieve. it still lets me send them though i just have no idea what the other peson is saying. any ideas on what to do?

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the messenger application. If that doesn't work, consider a new one such as trillian.
Don't worry, you can still use yahoo, but it's a different messenger app. It's actually better, it has MSN, ICQ, IRC, yahoo, and AIM built into one buddy list. Great for people like me who have to have an account with every service to enable everybody to contact me.

I know this sounds incredibly stupid, but I am terrified of spiders! Everytime I see one near me, or even up in the wall in my room, I freak. I know this is considered a phobia, but as far as illnesses go...? I feel like when I see one they're on me all over and I have to get it off. Is there anything I can do about this? (link)

Yeah, a lot of people hate them. Fear is usually caused by either pesonal experiences, or ignorance. The best way to overcome a fear such as this one is to learn about them. Learn why they're dangerous, which ones are dangerous and which ones are common. Next time you see one, learn about it, do as the other person said and try and get a chance to hold one. At first you may need to just get close to it, maybe pet it.
Remember, the spider isn't there to hurt you, it's not even worried about you. You need to learn why it bites when it does, you'll learn to prevent it. Same goes with most animals/insects. They usually don't want to harm you without any good reason.

ok um i have mozilla firefox, and like every now and then, it'll get stuck so I close it and when i click on the icon again to open it, it asks me which account I'd like to use. The one i was just on it wont let me go on. Why does this happen? Its really annoying because all the sites I went on with the other username arent on the one Im on now. Is there any way I can switch back to my other username? Please help me. ♥

This happens when you open two instances of firefox. It's trying to go under the default username, but since it's already in use, it uses a different one. The bookmarks are saved for each individual username. You need to switch back to the default username. Do the following...
Open the "Start" menu, select "Run" and type:
firefox.exe -profilemanager
Then select the profile you want, if the boomarks aren't in the one you select do it again and select a different one.
