How do I carry myself with more confidence, without seeming arrogant?
thats hard to do, an exercise is to stand in front of your mirror in at little clothing as possible and instead of looking at all the less attractive parts of you admire your attractive beautiful self. you have a beautiful body, everyone does, who cares if your short, fat skinny, tall, it doesn't matter what you look lie, you still have to ability to be successful in life and isn't that what life is about, it won't matter if you were gorgeous in your teenage years, we will all eventually grow old, get wrinkles and die. thats life, sometimes it sucks, but you need to learnt that there is no such thing as perfect, there will always be someone prettier than you, and people who judge you are just insecure about themselves. good luck with life, much love

crunches, belly dance ( go to http://www.seventeen.com/health/train/spc/0,,625882_631094,00.html to learn how ), you can go jogging around your block, i do ten minutes a day, do yoga poses, its easy to find websites for them, or you can join a local gym, you can also jump rope, its good for your body too.
Recently my parents asked me if it would be ok for us to move. The place we would be moving to is in the same state but its about 45 mins to an hour away from where i live now. Atfirst it was a deffinate no for me but then I started thinking about how it might be able to help me. lately ive been really depressed and not happy with my life and i have started to drink atleast 2 or three times a week this past week i drank every night. The reason that is holding me back from moving Is that I think I will miss my friends so much i will just get more depressed

ok, i moved last year to a totally different state and i think its a go. it sounds like you are having some problems and this move could give you a chance for a fresh start. it sounds like just what you need. it may get worse when you move before you make friends and the first week of school sucks but then i promise you'll start to make friends and you'll have so much to talk about because you are meeting each other for the first time. and there is absolutely no reason you can't spend a weekend in your old town with your old friends or they could come visit you. i think the move is a great idea. good luck
Ok me and my freind were at the mall and, we soo a freind of mine. He didnt no her. I have non her since fourth grade. Anyway ive liked for about a month now and, he came on to her today and, followed her everywere, he wouldnt stop she was hitting on both of us. ok, first you need to understand that its chicks before dicks and bros before hos and you need to make sure your friend understands that too. as for her, if she's the romantic type, win her over with flowers for no special occasion or just give her a lot of attention. if you think she likes you ask her if she wants to go see a movie together just the two of you. it sounds like she'll say yes but if she says no its not the end of the world. take it from me, girls love it when guys give them a lot of attention. i dont know what she was thinking about when she made up the pregnancy story but i definitly think you should ask her on a date oh and never say you love her in the first 2-3 weeks your going out and if she says it first during that time then you an say it back, also, don't be too clingy, a lot of guys get dumped for that. much luck, if you need more girl advice IM me at xcrimsonxsinsx6
13/f.i just turned 13 this month.i go to a death trap of a school.i used to be really quiet till i was like 12.now im the freaky kind of person that scares people and i like freaky stuff like disecting brains and hearts in science classes. and i give people nightmares a lot. i do like that kind of stuff but im not a freak.and now aduldts are sayin im gothic to my parents.ok im not tryin to be.yes most of my clothes are black yes my jewelery is mainly chokers and big rings yes i love rock and metal and screamo and yes most of the people who dont hate me are goths emo or freaks but my best 2 friends are a preppy pink girl and a guy who is prep to. my parents took it all away all my stuff like that and wont let me see my goth emo and freak friends everything gone. but if i would tell my mom that thats just how i am shed freak out and get a therapist and hate me forever. I HATE MY LIFE im not gettin help like phsyciatrists or watever. i cant tell my mom im goth which i dont really think i am but if id write out my life ya i guess i am.my bff said its because i was a goody goody bitch all my life. he doesnt say it in a mean way but ya.even he says it!what do i tell my mom and i cant just sit down and talk to her...we dont get along since ive changed. what do i do she hates me now and took away everything.
your parents should accept you for who you are and who said you need to have a label.she doesn't hate you she just doesn't understand you. it was wrong for her to take away your things, and that makes you more rebellious. there isn't anything wrong with seeing a shrink. i advise that you do see one and if you put things in perspective for them then they can help you talk to your mom about it. you also may find that sitting down and talking to your mom could actually work or maybe write her a letter and slip it under her bedroom door one night or leave it on the counter one day before you go out to school. maybe you could even come up with a compromise, like you get your stuff back but start wearing a few more colors, its better to compromise than lose everything.

What dress should I wear? Simple and thin or poofy and girly? if you have a darker skin tone go with brighter colors to accept your tan but if you have paler skin go with light blues and pinks and lavenders. poofy is cute but i would go with thin if your skinny.

i wouldn't tell her she is a bad influence because that could really hurt her feelings, i would sit her down and talk to her about STD's. there are a lot of STD's out there and some of them are life threatenting or non-curable. alos if she gets preganant she is going to ruin the rest of her life. make sure she knows this

sometimes i get small clots too but mine dont ever smell unusual, i dont want to freak you out but the safest choice would be to make an appointment with a gynecologist just to make sure everythings ok, it is most likely nothing but its good to be sure.
15/f. Ive never inserted a tampon before but Ive tried a couple times a long time ago. I just feel really uncomfortable doing it and feel like it wont work, or itll hurt. I sort of feel like somethings wrong with me and i will never be able to use tampons. this isnt good because im a sophomore on varsity basketball so its hard with practice and games constantly and a competitive level where you need to play hard 24/7 (with pads..) someone help?

I am from India. My sister(24) is in her final semester studying homeopathy.she was in love with her schoolmate for the past 5 years but has finally decided to call quits. She says he is a practical,insensitive kind who considers emotions to be unnecessary and money is everything bcause of which he spends nil time with her and working so that they would have a better married life. All these years she put up with his attitude and was completely devoted to him.but as her disagreement grew she complained to him about his insensitivity to her to which he had the same story of earning money.since 6 months she has been constantly asking him to break off and has finally stopped talking to him.but now he is raving and crying about asking to give him a second chance and talking about suicide.he has stopped working and trying to drain her emotionally.my sis has another friend of 3 months who became quite intimate with her during these months and has proposed her to which she accepted.since her ex is now showing tantrums and talking about suicide.What should she do?
none of this is her fault, its the boys, if he is talking about suicide than he needs to get help or go see a psychologist but she shouldn't feel guilty for his feelings. maybe he has a chemical imbalance in his brain. she should alert him of his childish behavior and if he continues with his suicidal tak he could be admitted into a mental institute and while it sounds cruel i'd rather admit someone to an institute than see them die.
