It's hard, but if you're sick (as in, if you have an eating disorder like anorexia or bulimia), it's easier because you see it as a way to improve yourself. I've been there and done that -- and I hope you're not trying to go that route.

My boyfriend and I have been having sex for over a year, and we have used different brands, and Trojan has been the most reliable -- other brands have broken, been uncomfortable, and stuff like that. =] If it's your first time at ALL, make sure to use something lubricated, or buy a lube that's made for use with condoms (like KY -- NEVER use Vaseline).

EDIT: Vaseline is a bad idea because 1] it compromises the condom itself and makes it more prone to breakage, and 2] it gets rid of the spermicide, which is half the reason you use condoms in the first place.

Q: About a week ago my boyfriend fingered me. I was with him for at least an hour before this and I know that he didn't jerk off or anything. But I'm not sure if he jerked off before then and if he did he probably would have washed his hands. Would this kill sperm? Is there any chance I could be pregnant?

I highly doubt it. If he washed his hands, then there wouldn't be any sperm on his fingers -- and even if there was, they would have lost their fertilizing capabilities due to the air. =]

My menstrual cramps hurt just like that, every month, so that's nothing new for me. But if this is a new occurence, or if you're just now getting some weird-colored discharge, then you should go to your doctor ASAP. In the meantime, take a Midol and use a heating pad on low (even if you have to fold it and stick it between your legs) to try to ease the pain.

It depends on the guy. Some guys like really big boobs, but some don't -- for example, I have 34A boobs, and my boyfriend says they're just right (his exact words are "anything bigger than a mouthful is a waste" haha). Some guys don't care about boobs at all.

As far as pubic hair goes, guys have different preferences about that too. My boyfriend personally likes some hair to be there (just a little) because he says if there's no hair, it feels like he's having sex with a 6-year-old girl. Other guys don't like hair at all though, and some prefer girls to just leave their pubic hair alone and let it grow and do its own thing.

Like I said, it all depends on the guy. But if you're with a guy that truly cares about you, he won't care at all.

Well, this can go different ways.

First of all, why won't you date? Does he not want to be tied down? Do you guys date OTHER people, or are you just making out with each other and that's it? If you're in love with one another, what's the problem in making it official?

I don't think it's inherently WRONG that you guys are friends with benefits, but you have to understand that people are going to think other things about you (in other words, some people might think you're a slut for making out with someone you're not dating, and they might think he's a player). If you guys don't have a problem with that, then it's fine in my opinion.

Still, if you're so in love and whatnot, I don't see the problem with dating him.

Q: In December I was best friends with this guy. We're both 16, I'm a girl. Well we were really good friends, hung out everyday even if for 5 minutes, and called eachother everyday etc. He told me in January he liked me but decided he just wanted to be friends. Then he stopped talking to me. I was confused and hurt, after being with him everyday and talking to him, not talking/seeing to him at all was a total shock. And it seems while we're talking that he gets it, and the next day usually everything's so much better. But then he starts with his old habits again, and I don't know what to do! I understand that you're hurt, and I get that you want to continue trying to repair your friendship, but it seems to me like it's gone a little too far for that. No, I don't think this guy has given up on your friendship because he doesn't like you any more -- in fact, I think it's the opposite. I think he gave up because he DOES like you a lot, but he doesn't know how to handle that.

I think you should give him one (and I do mean just ONE) more chance. Try once more to tell him how you feel -- that you want a friendship, or more if he's willing to offer that. Make sure he knows that you're not pushing him to do anything. Hopefully, he'll get it for real this time... but if he doesn't, I think you should follow suit and start looking for a new best friend, because that means this guy obviously isn't worthy of your friendship or your affection. If you've only done it a few times, then yes, it's normal. Did you know that being high is actually an allergic reaction to marijuana? That's why some people don't even get high at all the first time they smoke pot.

Sounds like you're trying to control him, and I can see where that could be a huge problem. Look, I'm sure you're trying to be a great girlfriend by not letting him hang out with this person, but your boyfriend's a big kid and he can make his own mistakes. You need to stop trying to control who he hangs out with -- or he's going to end your relationship. Trust me, it's happened to me for the EXACT same reason. Do you wanna risk that?

Don't attempt to remove the hair, because:

1] It's just going to grow back, and that means you have to continue removing it -- not to mention that in any hair removal method, there has to be some sort of 'stubble' before it can be removed again, which means you have stubble on your face for a week before you remove it. Um, ew?
2] Ingrown hairs suck.

Use a bleach made for women's facial hair. You can find it at the drugstore, and it won't remove the hair and is less likely to cause skin problems, and there's no nasty upkeep if you don't want to -- you just stop bleaching. =]

I use the Dove kind, and it's really awesome. =] It doesn't make my skin look fake at all, but it adds just a hint of color.

Unless you have gigantic hands, an ounce of potato salad/peanuts/other "chunky things" is about a handful. An ounce of, say, honey is about a tablespoon.

1] If you had sex four times without a condom, you could be pregnant -- there's pre-cum before actual semen, and it has sperm in it too.

3] There is no law in ANY state that says you're too young to get a pregnancy test. Yes, it's $10, but it's worth it. You said you're pretty sure it's because you eat so fast... so eat slower.

When you have the hiccups, try filling a large glass with warm water and sticking a butter knife (blade side up) in the glass. Then drink all the water -- either fast or slowly, but just don't take breaks. That's what my grandma taught me, and it always worked for me.

Q: The boy I talk to only came over my house once and we only just talk on the phone. A few things that he do that I don't like is when he see me he just say hi or not and that would be it for the whole day until he calls me after school.
