okay. does anyone know what the symptoms are for TSS?
because although my period was 2 weeks ago, I just found a tampon inside of me. ewww....
and I've been feeling really ill for about two weeks. so can anyone help me see if I can diagnose this(without going to the dr)
hey, well here are some symptons.
Symptoms
High fever, sometimes accompanied by chills
Malaise (discomfort, ill feeling)
Nausea
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Widespread red rash resembling a sunburn
Rash followed in 1 or 2 weeks by peeling of the skin, particularly on the palms of the hand or bottom of the feet
Redness of eyes, mouth, throat
Confusion
Seizures
Headaches
Muscle aches
Hypotension (low blood pressure)
Organ failure (usually kidneys and liver)
be careful and always check if you left a tampon in.

hey, well you shouldnt let the people get to you. you know your not gay. that should be all that matters. when people say stuff to you, let them know that it doesnt bother you (even if it truly does). the only reason why people make fun of others is to get the satisfaction of seeing another person get put down. once the satisfaction is gone they will stop because its not "fun" anymore.
alright this guy wanted to go with me to a mall kinda far away from where i live, and i dont really know him. so i said instead lets go get coffee, he said it was cool. now tday i texted him and he said that he couldnt hang out cause he had to take his mom to work which is near that mall he wanted to go to.he said maybe next thursday and that he was sorry. was he blowing me off or wat?
hey, well it could be either. i think that you should just ask him for an honest answer. say that you will be more offended if hes lying to you and that you just want the complete truth. if you dont want to do that then just wait till next thursday and invite him to the coffee shop and see if he goes.
It's been almost a year and half i think since i got my first peiod. but recently its been really weird. For about two weeks in december i had it but it was reallly light. and then on the 26th i got it and it was normal and then on the 28th i just kinda stopped and i havn't really bleed anysince but i've been puting in a tampon because at school the only time i really have to go to the bathroom is at 11:30 before lunch which is when i change. so is that normal that its soo weird cause it just makes me a little neverous that it comes for only 2 days then goes away. because i don't wanna wear a panty liner pad and then come 11:30 when i go to the bathroom and its just a mess. so a little advice for this lost 15/f?
hey, well your periods are suppose to be irregular for a few years before they straighten out. theres not much that you can do except bear with it and always keep extra tampons and pads in your locker or purse.
so me and my friend made wish bracelets...where you make a wish before you tie the string around your wrist and then your wish is supposed to come true when your bracelet falls off and all...
so i'm going to get straight to the point. can you change your wish? like after you've tied the string? or do you have to cut the old one and make a new one and redo the wish?
hey, well your not suppose to change the wish. its also badluck if you untie it before it falls off. so if you want to make another wish, then tie another one on you.
Ok i find out this guy i work with (who i thought disliked me) has a thing for me. ok but he wont talk to me at work becasue of something about him being a manager and him not liking the store knowing about his personal life. hey, well you thought he disliked you and then he says he likes you. thats a big red flag. hes going totally third grade on you, haha. he acts like he doesnt like you and picks on you because he likes you. when he says his personal life he doesnt nessasarily(sp?) mean you. he means who he likes/dates. basically hes saying that he doesnt want people to know about his love life. you think that if people want to talk then let them and thats a good way to be. he doesnt feel the same and he cares what people think about them. hes just different from you.
Ok so heres my problem. I hate gym I have the worst teacher ever. I also hate when we play thoe srupid games. Im a 15 yr old male, I work out and have abs however I wish I was athletic Im not. Some of my friends are. I think they have it better. I feel ambarrased cos im the most unathletic kid.. and I get made fun of..

hey, well you can do a few things. ask one of your athletic guy friends to help you with sports. ask them for some tips and how to play the games correctly and stuff. if you dont want to learn then just shake it off. when people make fun of you let them know clearly that you know that your not athletic at all and that your fine with it (even if your not). they will stop saying stuff to you if they think that your not bothered by it. the only reason why people bully others is to see the satisfaction of putting someone down. if you dont seem bothered by it, theres no satisifcation.

hey, well you cant just create a valentine. another thing not to do is to just pretend to like someone that likes you so you can have a valentine. i have a few suggestions for you tho. maybe talk this over with a guy friend THAT IS SINGLE. ask him if he wants to exchange gifts on valentines day and be each others valentines. if you didnt want to do that then you can always switch gifts with your girls.
So I like this guy and he likes me too. But he has a new years resolution to not date anyone in the year 2007. So I either wait the year or forget about him. And I dont want to forget about him. Should I make him forget the resolution or should I wait?
hey, well if he really likes you then he should be able to make an exception for you. how do you know that he likes you? if he told you and then told you about his resoulution then maybe he just didnt want to make you feel bad. i garentee you that one girl will break that resolution. no guy could ever do that, seriously. just tell him that you really like him a lot and that if he can make an exception for you then your going to try to move on.

okay a year ago i was dating a kid named john and yeah i dumped him.. and yeah it ended. but every time he has a girlfriend he likes another girl, EVERYTIME. so before he dated me he was with this girl named paige then he liked me they broke up; me and him dated then i found out he was hitting on this girl while he was dating me so since i considered that cheating i dumped him ever since a year ago he's dated that girl twice, another girl, another girl and yeah. now to the present. so he's player-ish but overall he's a good guy.
i started dating this amazing guy named conor in december so it was a week past and john comes out of nowhere and tells me he likes me. when a guy tells me he likes me i get like confused he likes me but i dont want to hurt his feelings by telling him i dont. so after he told me i broke up with conor about one day later - big mistake. so i finally told john i didnt like him after like 2 weeks and he said its fine and etcetc. i felt really bad. so on his myspace url it says accidentallyinlove, on his profile it says 'my heart is taken but that person doesnt want it' in bulletins (for those who know myspace you know what those are) he did a survey and it said 'what is the initials of your crush' and he put my initials. i blew it off, i said whatever he'll get over me. two days ago me and conor started going out again and he's all rude and stuck up whenever conor gets mentioned in conversations. today i went on habbo hotel (this online virtual game where you can send gifts and such) and there was a present for me that said 'lex i know you hate me but i love you'. and thats ticked me off. he'll do probably ANYTHING to make me fall for him or give in. i seriously dont want him. i hate him for doing this to me. i love conor with all i got. but john is pissing me off massively i seriously hate him. what should i do? i seriously dont even want to talk to him anymore.
hey, wow thats so weird. the same type of thing happened to me. one of the guys name was jon too. anyways, i just explained to the one that was pissing me off that i was happy with my boyfriend and that i understand that you have feelings for me, but i think were better off as good friends. i also said that just because i have a boyfriend and its not you doesnt mean i hate you. i still want to be friends with you and maybe a relationship is possible in the future, but definately not now.

I have a silly problem. It's my mother and her insipid e-mails. She forwards me all of this junk. I don't really care about the cute, cuddly pictures of kitties and bunnies. It's the political stuff that annoys me. We do not have the same political views and she is WELL aware of this. She sends me e-mails (the ones that say if you agree that communists are inviting Castro to take over the Supreme Court, forward this to 500 people immediately and if you don't, you
don't love Jesus and you need to move to France with the whole A.C.L.U.) touting political, social, and religious views I vehemently disagree with and which provoke argumentative feelings in me. I'd really love to reply to them and tell her
why it's just [baloney]. I have tried using it as a start to a serious, but civil discussion. She gets offended. I have repeatedly asked her to stop sending me this stuff. Her reply is that I can just delete them and that I should just do the "Christian" thing and ignore them. Well, it's about a weekly occurrence that I get something from her that sets me on fire, even though I have
told her point-blank that it offends me.
It's to the point where I feel like replying to each with a baudy snippet from a gay sex columnist or an article from The Onion or even a page from NARAL (abortion rights) just so she can see what it's like to be irritated by this stuff. I feel like she doesn't care or doesn't respect who I am when she does this. Another thing I've thought of is just simply blocking her e-mails. Maybe I should just chill out because she's the only mother I'll ever have and I do love her. It's just hard because I've never felt like I belonged in my family (I like to joke that I'm a white sheep in a flock of black ones) and these e-mails seem to emphasize the point.

hey, well you`ve tried speaking with her about it and she didn`t listen. the only thing that you can do is just simply ignore them. if you don`t agree with the emails then that`s fine. just because you read an email doesn`t mean that you have to agree with what it`s stating. be the bigger person and just stay calm.
Okay, first off I will give you some details about me. I am a Senior and 18. Now usually I like guys my age or older but since last year when I was a Junior I kept notcing this cute guy checking me out. His locker was in the 8th grade hallway but I didn't think anything of it. He looked older than an 8th grader and had the most amazing blue eyes and smile I had ever seen. Everyday when I walked to class, we would catch eachother looking at one another. It was funny. He would look at me, and then I'd look at him. He would look down and so would I, and then we both would look up at the same time again and smile and then he shyly would turn away. Well this year I noticed his locker was in the freshman hallway, so I asked around about his name and what grade he was in. Turns out he is a freshman and he is only 15, but turning 16 soon. I just turned 18 and it is so weird to me that I can't let this guy go. He is just so adorably cute and I can't get over it. He seems really outgoing and I am very outgoing, but when we are near eachother, we get incredibly shy. Both of us. This isn't like me at all. Well at our school we can get guys/girls stuff for Valentine's Day. I bought a pink note (meaning secret admirer) and wrote a little poem on it. It said, "I've seen you around, You're very cute, but I can't seem to let you know what I want to do. So if you can figure out who wrote this to you, then write me a note and tell me if you feel the same way I do. Happy Valentine's Day." The notes get sent out on Valentines Day. Now there is no way that he can find out I wrote this, but I am nervous that if he finds out its me he might not say anything. I just want to talk to him and break the ice. Because we both abviously like eachother because we both make eye contact and stop talking to who we are talking to when we see eachother in the halls. Any other ideas about what I should do to break the ice. He recently added me on Myspace, which I had no idea how he found me, so I guess he had been searching me :) but he never wrote me anything, and I am too scared to send him a message or comment on his page. Any ideas?
hey, well age shouldnt make a difference. if you guys like each other and are compatable(sp?) then who cares? dont let others bring you down about liking a younger guy if they find out. there just jealous [=. if you want flirting tips or anything else go to http://www.links2love.com but i say that you should message him on myspace. that way no one will see it, like you can see a comment. just say something like hey, your pretty cute [=. something flirty. its much easier saying stuff like that on a computer rather then in person and its not as hard as it seems.

Bob and i have history, about over a year of it. I fought my butt off to be with him. The thing is my mom and grandma dont like him. And after risking getting thrown out of my house for him and having to go through hell and all this i just dont want it to for nothing.

hey, well i wouldnt ruin a year relationship with bob for john when your not sure that john will work out and if thats 100% what you want to do. chances are if you break up with bob for john, bob wont take you back if things dont work out with john. i would keep trying with bob and just try to make things work.

So I'm a cutter. As in, cutting my wrists and legs. I'm in therapy (so obviously my parents know about it). I had been clean for about 3 weeks, and since just 2 days ago, I started cutting again. Not to the point where I'm making my self bleed or anything, but it seems to numb my pain. It's like an addiction. Does anyone have any tips on how I can focus my thoughts somewhere else besides on self-injury?
hey, alright well im assuming that you only cut when your alone. surround yourself with people as much as you can. get involed in sports, clubs, and go out with your friends a lot. keep busy. when your home just relaxing, surround yourself with your family. try not to be alone too much and keep as many sharp objects away from you as possible.
I love my boyfriend to bits but he's just so depressed with his work right now.
He is such a beautiful person but I haven't seen that beautiful person latley. He's been working in his job for 3 years this year. he's 20 going on 21! He is the only young male that works there, the rest are all older women.
The pick on him Constantly, they never leave him alone. He is the only one that is basically mentally abused by these women.
He's been looking for new jobs but there isn't a wide range of job opportunities around in our small country town. Moving towns isn't an option. Both our families are here and this is where we plan to have ours.
He looses sleep over it so he's always tired. I just don't know how to help him anymore.
I love him so much and it hurts me to see him so sad all the time.
It isn't effecting our relationship and hopefully it wont, I wont let it go that far.

hey, alright well most of the time people think that if they dont say anything back to the bullys that they will just stop and go away -- not true. he needs to stand up for himself but at the same time let them think that it doesnt effect him. the only reason why people pick on others is to get the satisfaction of seeing someone be put down. once they dont get the satisfaction anymore, they will stop.
