I live in a suburb of New York City and I'm a Senior in High School. I'm trying to decide where to go to college. My top 3 choices are Cornell, Florida State, and Miami, and I've already gotten into all three. Miami gave me a lot of money, but Florida State has the best program for what I want to do and Cornell is the closest to home. I love all three campuses and don't care about travelling far away, but I don't want to make the wrong decision.

If Florida State has the best program, you should go. Miami is a great school but they focus alot on medical for graduate school. Moving into a new city and state can be fun, as well. Visit each of them and see the atmosphere of the college.
Coming from Florida, I can say that I am sure either FSU or Miami will be great for you.

Do well at school now. When you hit high school, join clubs. There are Dance Clubs, Chorus Clubs, Poem Clubs, etc. If they are not available at your High school, I'm sure there are in your city. good luck!

Alright, I'm kind of torn on this issue. My mom and I are really close and we always have been.
There's just a little background info.
My boyfriend and I are planning on getting an apartment together when we graduate. I kind of want to tell my mom because he's away, earning money to put towards our apartment. She always says "If he loves you, then he shouldn't have gone." and I always want to say "Hey, he's doing this for us," and tell her about the whole apartment thing.
Thing is, she's never been crazy about the idea of two people not married living together. I hate to keep secrets from her, though. She's like a friend sometimes more than a mom.
Another issue is...
Yeah, I'm not a virgin. I haven't been since...april? and my mom keeps asking in this accusatory tone of voice "You haven't been having sex, have you?" (this is where she turns into my mom) and I've been saying "What? No. I told you, we're waiting..." or whatever
But I've seriously been considering telling her. She told me when she took me to get the pill that I could tell her if/when I had sex if I wanted to. She left the option open. I've been tempted to tell her recently.
Thing about THIS is, she hates liars. Like, a lot. If I were to tell her now, I'd have to admit that I've been lying since, like, april.
So what do you guys think? Should I tell her about both? One? The other? None?
I'm just looking for an opinion here, mostly out of curiosity. The final decision will obviously be mine. Thanks! (link)

If you care about your mom, you should tell her the truth. Maybe you and your mom should sit down and have a personal talk about the things that are on your mind. The longer you wait to tell her that you've been lying to her, the harder it will be to tell her.

If you are not ready for sex you shouldn't do it. If you think you're ready for it - make sure you are prepared. You might want to see about getting birth control as well.

I know how you feel. You should make sure your back is always clean. When you shower, clean it well with a mild soap and apply lotion after you shower or if your skin is dry. It will take a while (it might be years - alot of things don't happen fast) but eventually, your skin will begin to grow in new and beautiful. You should see a dermotologist as well. He/She might be able to give you prescription medication for it.

You should go to a big book store and just search the isles. Books A Million is great and the stores are comforting. They have chairs and couches for you to sit and read/skim. They have a HUGE selection of books and about any book you might need. Some also have coffee shops so you can even get drinks or maybe even snacks! They have isles of every genre of book you can think of. Its great!

Help please the last time I wrote to you people was in about March in Oregon... I had run away and was heading for Canada and asked what I should do and most of you said go back but I didn't listen... You should go home. If the reason why you are running away is because they abuse you at home, go home and call the Child welfare. If not, you have no reason to run away. Home is where your life is. I bet the people at your house are worried.

You should sit down with your mom and have a personal convo. Ask her if you can have a later bed time - since, of course, it is summer. If she doesn't let you - you should obey her. She should know how much you want to stay up and why.

I doubt he has spent enough time with you to be in love. He probably doesn't mean it. Just tell him that you care for him - as a friend. Explain the concept of you having a boyfriend and ask if he wants to hang out sometime - as a friend.
