my best friend lives across the street and we have carpooled to school every day since kindergarten. now we're in middle school and we're allowed to get to school an hour early if we want, to hang out in the cafeteria and talk to friends. I love doing that, but my friend isn't very sociable and she refuses to go early. Our moms are fine with driving us separately, but my friend is all mad at me now for "breaking the tradition" and not riding to school together. but going early is like the only chance we get in school to hang out with friends. what should i do? just tell her that the only time you get to hang out with friends during school is before school, so you really want to go early.
tell her maybe you could compromise and only get there like 30 mins early together, and tell her that she doesnt have to be shy and she should go and talk to people and its a good way to meet new friends.
then if she tries going like 30 mins early she might meet new people and might want to extend the time to an hour earlier.=]

i had a previous question and i just thought about something else to ask.. when your homeschooled do you necessarily have to have your parents teach you or can someone come to your house instead?? cause my parents didnt grow up here so the curriculum is all really different and i dont know if they would be able to homeschool me themselves (link)

you have a 2% chance of being pregnant even if you use a condom. also, you could get pregnant if the condom was ripped even a little, or if he didn't put it on right.
you should take a pregnancy test right away to make sure if you're pregnant or not.

there's a couple of things that could make it stop for a while.
if she just started her period, that's probably why. first time girls get their periods, it's irregular, so it doesnt come every month for the first few times.
it could also be if she's not getting enough protein and vitamins, or if she's not eating healthy.
masterbation has nothing to do with it, because masterbating does nothing bad to the body or anything.

I just got a new light colored bed set, and im so afraid of getting blood from my period on it because it will stain it. How can i make sure i dont get blood on it? I use tampons, but i tend to sleep in pretty late, so its a while until i change it at night, so it tends to leak out. I'm sooo tired of getting it on my underwear and staining them, and i reallllly dont want it to get on my new bed set. So any ideas?

you can wear a tampon and a pad at the same time, so you won't stain your underwear or bed. if it still stains your bed for some reason, then wear two pairs of underwear also, so it wont stain your bed.=]

okay, well since i was little, if I ever go out in the sun, i get dark very easily. So now im like VERY tanned. Like if I wear like bright colours (not including pink or white), it looks horrible. I really want to get lighter skin.. But the problem is that there is NO WAY I can go to like those salons where like you get tanned, or like lighter or like spas.. If I ever compair me and my friends skin tones, I'm the only one tht is really dark. My parents say stuff like if your tanned that means your healthy.. sometimes I think its true, sometimes I dont. Oh and by the wayy, im from canada so yeah. And basically, my wardrobe mostly is pink. Wondering what other styles I can get besides pink.

well a lot of people risk getting skin cancer and go out in the sun to get tan like you are, so it's a really good thing.=]
but if you really wanna be lighter, then wear sun block lotion everyday, even if you just go out in the car or something, because windows have sun exposure to, so you can still get sun burnt.
if you wear sun block lotion everyday, and dont get sun exposure for a while, that will help you get lighter skin.
cause thats what i did before. i used to be really tan so i started wearing sunblock on my face everyday, and i still went outside a lot for track practice and stuff, and but cause of the sunblock my face got lighter after a few months or so.
also, tan skin looks great with black shirts, or navy or just any kind dark colors.=]

sometimes girls do if it sticks out of their bathing suits or it bothers them or feels itchy or if they just want a clean feeling or something.

sweetie, everyones afraid to tell their parents about their boyfriends for the first time. just start out telling your mom. just be like umm i have a boyfriend and tell her about him and tell her a lot of good stuff about him so she'll like him and approve.
start out telling your mom first cause most of the time moms are most comfortable with their daughters dating guys, but dads arent.
after you tell her just be like should i tell dad about it or do you think he'll get mad about it. maybe then you two can tell him together, cause it always helps when your moms there to comfort him when you tell him.
only tell them if you think they'll be ok with it though. a lot of parents dont think people should date until highschool, so make sure they'll approve of it before you tell them.
it might be awkward at first but once you tell them, you'll feel a lot better!

heyy hun dont worry about it at all i know so many people that have gotten surgery and they said it was fine.
i know your scared, just try to keep your mind off of it, and tell yourself that its gonna be ok.
they do put an iv in you cause while your asleep thats how they get nutrition in you since you cant eat. they also put the stuff through the iv that makes you fall asleep.
theres really no way around the needles, but its ok cause its just one, which is the iv, and it feels just like a blood test.
it hurts a little just like a prick for like a second while theyre inserting it into you, but once its actually in you, you cant even feel it. then they put the stuff in there and you fall asleep, and when you wake up its all over.=]
what helps me when i get shots is i look away before they put it in me cause if you look at them put it in it seems like it hurts more. just look away, and you'll only feel a little prick for about a second.

Hes only kissed a girl.. never made out or anything.. but i dont care about that. His mom is really protective of him so im scared that his mom wont like me if we were to date.. i really like him too..

what you should do is picture yourself with each of the guys and whoever you can see yourself better with pick him.
forget about their moms and all that and just look at their personalities and decide who you like better and choose him.

it really depends on the actors, because diff actors prefer diff things.
sometimes if they want to make it look more real or they want to get into it or are a little attracted to each other in real life they'll make out.
usually if you cant see theyre tongue sticking out when they stop, theyre making out but if you cant, theyre probably just open-mouth kissing.

sorry hun but that might be a little impossible in just 2 weeks unless you starve yourself. i would give it about a month if you want to lose 10-14 lbs.
just workout everyday, stay away from junk food and sugar and fatty foods, and eat healthy, and that should help a lot.
just remember not to go hungry and eat too little, because that would be worse to be anorexic than to be a little overweight.

this is kinda long, just a warning.
okay so i am prety sure i'm bulimic. i've been throwing up almost everything eat since november 2006. i haven't lost weight, it flucuates a lot, but i think i do it becasue i think i'll lose weight eventually. and i used to binge eat a lottt then purge, but i've stopped the bingeing which was hard. i kinda want to stop but in a sence i don't think i can and i don't even know why i do it. now i try to barely eat. My mom constantly bugs me that i need to put on a few pounds and it's so annoying. i want to lose weight.
i don't know what to do, what should i do?
and i have another question, if i don't eat ANY snacks, cut out junk food, and eat smaller portions, will i lose weight? i don't really excercise that much, but i guess i could start. i usually try for 500 calories a day at the least. (link)

ok i know you dont wanna hear this, but when youre bulimic you really cant tell if your too skinny or not and you keep wanting to lose weight even if your under weight.
your moms right, you should start eating more and dont even worry about losing weight, because im sure you dont need to.
eat healthy foods but dont eat too much junk food but eat a good amount of food and excercise a lot and you'll stay healthy and you wont be over weight or under weight.

it hard to find good people to go out with, so you should get to know the person a little more before you do.
dont judge them based on looks, talk to them a lot and flirt with them a lot so they know you like them more than a friend, but you also want to get to know them too.
