I just want some opinions on what everyones favorite cell phone provider is. Such as, cingular, verizon, tmobile, etc. Can everyone please just tell me which they prefer, and why. It's alot easier having people tell you what's best when they actually HAVE the plan, rather than researching on their websites... because most give biased opinions and really aren't as kind as they seem. I have cingular, most of my friends have cingular.
I have one friend who has verizon, it sucks big time, whenever I call him, my call always gets dropped.
My mom has used cingular for the past 5 years, and never once has she gotten a dropped call!
Cingular is even better now, since at&t and them joined.
I have free weekends and after 7 weekdays. I love cingular, though it might not be the best if you text a lot. I never text, so it all depends on how you use your phone and where you live!

I have I guess you could say 'mild acne'. Little pimples started forming when I was about 11, and I'm 14 and still have pimples on my forehead.

This is a picture of what my acne looks like generally. THIS IS NOT A PICTURE OF MY SKIN. My skin is like a darker skin color than some girls because of my ethnicity (family is part russian, some armenian). I tried the Clearisil stuff in the white tube and it's good for like the occasional pimples and I want to use that once I get rid of the bigger ones. I also get like small pimples on my hairline, but thankfully they're covered by my hair (lol). I have a habit of sometimes not washing my face with my acne wash before I go to bed like after I wear foundation, so that might be the problem.
Okay, well, my mom offered to buy me Proactiv because she knows about my ongoing problem. My question is, will Proactiv take away the pimples and leave me with pimple free skin (with the occasional pimple) just in time for the new school year? I really love my skin because I have a nice complexion (glowing, naturally tan), so I really want to get rid of my pimples. I'm going to the mall with my friend this Monday/Tuesday, and my mom told me to check out the prices on Proactiv (they sell it at the mall), and tell her about it so she can get it for me.

Wearing foundation and not washing it all off is a big no-no! It's basically putting more crap in your pores to make them turn into pimples.
Proactiv may work for you, but there's always the risk that you'll be allergic to it!
If your face wash isn't working, anti-bacterial hand wash always helps!
Also, the pimples on your hairline are probably caused by you not wanting to get soap in your hair, I'm the same way. I recommend taking showers daily, and washing up close to your hairline. Keep the hair in your face extra clean, or else you're just putting oil and bacteria back onto your face.
Also, when you wash your face, DO NOT SCRUB! Gently rub it onto your face. If you want your face invigorously cleaned, get face wash with those little beads in it, those types of soaps work best for me.

is sleeping in a room with computers turned on bad?
I don't know about radiation, but sleeping with the monitor turned on is not only bad for the screen, it's also bad for you. I'm guessing that the computers having screen savers turned on, and so the flashing lights would disrupt your sleep and make it so that you could never truly get to sleep, the same with sleeping with the tv on.
Overall, I think that you should turn off the computers when you go to sleep.

I agree with the previous two answers, but it might also be the way you sleep.
Like, if you sleep on one side all the time, it might deform the fat (not saying you're fat) on your side.
I always sleep on my side, but I never know which one I fall asleep on, and my right side is a little like that, but I don't have scoliosis.

I asked a question about what it's like to get your wisdom teeth out before. I just got them out a few hours ago and my mouth is in a great deal of pain. It didnt hurt getting them out because I was asleep. I got all four out & they were impacted. I've only had mashed potatoes and a little water since I came home & I ate the potatoes extremely slowly. I tried taking the prescription medicines, but I can never swallow pills so yeaaah. I took penicillin & I somehow got that to go down with my potatoes. I have one other pill to take & it's round and I cut it in half & have tried 5+ times to swallow it but it doesn't work, even when it's in my potatoes.
I took tylenal for the pain already [adult liquid tylenal] & i'm 17/f.
Any suggestions of what else I can take where I won't have to deal with swallowing pills? And I dont thik sending me sites or ideas of how to swallow them will help, seeing as I'm pretty sure i've tried everything.

It might help if you crush up your pills as little as possible and put them in your mashed potatoes, and don't think about the pills, watch tv or something while eating.

what does hugs means to you when you hugging your friends?
and whats the diffrence and meaning between friends giving you regular hug and friends giving you tight hug and they lift you up?
I hug as a way of saying "I love you!" or "thanks" or just because I wanted a hug from someone.
When my friends give my a regular casual hug, it usually means like "I'm happy to see you" or "you're awesome!", but when he hug tightly and such, it usually means "I love you like a sister/brother!" or "I missed you so much!".
I usually casually hug regular friends, and I save the special hugs for my close friends.
I love hugs so much more than kisses because hugs can save a life, and kisses can destroy one..

When this happens, if you eat more than usual, your breasts will get bigger, eat less then usual, your breasts will get smaller.

okay, well i have this huge issue with dying my hair.
i havn't dyed my hair since Feburary, to black. and the other day i found black hair dye and decided to dye it again. by the time i dyed it a couple days ago, my dirty blonde routes were showing A LOT. but yeah, i ended up missing a few spots anyway.
now, i want to dye my hair to a light golden brown color that i bought at the store.
what should i do to dye my hair? do you think it will fall out if i try to dye it so light? i'll be bleaching it first, btw.
please help.
It might not be the best thing to dye it black to bleach blond. I have a friend who dyed it black then blond and it turned orange, but he dyed bond a week after black, so that probably won't happen to you.
If I were you, I'd aim for a darker blond before you bleach. I don't know if it will fall out, though.

i'm going to a thing this weekend where there will be lots of people i don't know. i really want to talk to new people and make friends with them, but i always feel awkward just joining a different group. any tips? i don't know what to say.. usually they aren't welcoming. i feel like i shouldn't talk too much, but i shouldn't just sit there. where's the balance? any tips on flirting with the guys too? should i flirt straight away or not? thanks
First of all, to be accepted into a group, you must engage in conversations. So, just work your way (physically) into a group. For instance, groups of people don't stand around talking still in a circle, they are moving constantly. Start in the back, and work your way into the middle. I've found that the best way to get into them is by saying something really funny and random from the back, where everybody looks at you with a smile. Of course, that's because everybody knows I'm crazy.
You just have to know when to say something that isn't too stupid, yet not too boring.
As for flirting, this is my approach:
Whenever you ARE in a group, talk about anything, when you see an opportunity to say something, say it! It might be your only chance, and people will notice you! Anyway, let the guys in the group know you even exist. Whenever the group decides to play a sport like football, join in and stand out, even if you're the worst, certain guys will make cute jokes about you (flirting). "Accidentally" touch a guy's butt, if they notice it and say like "ooh, do you like my butt?" and wave it in your face, say "no..." and start to blush or whatever, that's flirting too. If you play card games, sit across the table from whatever guy you like the most!
Oh, and to get he record straight, I'm not one of those flirty preps who have a new boyfriend every month. I'm the geek, yet everyone thinks I'm cool! Whoot!

ok... a while back, when Panic! at the Disco came on MTV, my friend Ashley started listening to some of their songs. She was really excited to show me, and I liked their songs. A lot. She realized this and claimed that I was "stealing songs from her". She says she knows that she doesn't own the band, but she just thinks it annoying. So when Panic! at the Disco died down a bit, I tried to find some songs of "my own". One was an old song from Fall Out Boy's Take This To Your Grave, which was pretty much unheard of to my friends. My friends liked that song and I didn't mind, but they acted sort of like they found it first and started listening to the rest of the album, but if I liked any of those songs, they'd get mad. Jessica told me that Ashley even told her (Jessica) not to let me borrow TTTYG when she bought it (but she let me anyway)... Now I have found more songs, most of which Ashley now "loves". I also found a new band, This Providence. I liked it because it was a band which wasn't very that well known, all to my own. I now know how Ashley felt. But I didn't act the way she did when she liked those songs that I found. We still like to show people our favorite new songs, but we expect people to be impressed, really, not to take the song. I showed her one song from them and all of a sudden she loooved that song. She told people that she only liked 2 songs from them, but then she later called me and requested a burnt cd of them. I didn't really say anything, but I felt all... territorial. Like "They're Miine!" I hope at least SOME people know what I'm talking about and how I feel, but I don't know what to say to Ashley.
I agree with the previous answer, I had a friend like that. She would show me music like Evanescence that I wound up really liking. Anyway, everytime she saw me listening to that song, she'd be all "I showed that song to you! You wouldn't be listening to that if it weren't for me! Rawrrr!".
Anyway, I tried doing the same to her by saying "I showed you that song!" everytime she'd listen to a song I introduced her to, and of course she would always make up some story to cover it like "I listened to this song long before you did!".
Stupid, right?
Long story short, we wound up breaking up. I agree with the previous post by saying she's not worth it.
It would probably be best if you dumped her.

heyy i have recently had my hair highlighted and well it wasnt blonde enough so i bought Loreal Paris Recital Preference 9.13 Bergen light Beige Blonde to try and lighten it and followed the instructions word for word but afterwards my hair colour hadnt changed one bit..
It is a sort of Very light brown, dark blonde at the moment and i dont want to waste more money on kits that wont work but what are the best hair dying kits out there?
I want a light beige kinda blonde or maybe like baby blonde but they never seem to work.. I dont want it to look too harsh either like bleachy..
any ideas?

If you dyed your hair once, and dyed it again too soon, that might be the problem, try waiting a couple weeks, and dye your hair to the preferred color, and it will be lighter. Also try letting the sun do it's work on your hair naturally while you wait a couple weeks.

Sorry i didint know what to put this under. ok well i have a question about teeth whitening. has anyone tried hydrogen peroxide or baking soda on there tooth brush?..i heard they work good becuase i dont want to pay like 40 dollars for those crest strips or whatever so i was just thinking of that. and do u notice a difference like in the first day??
There aren't any products (that I know of) that show results within the first day.
You could use hydrogen peroxide as a mouth wash, it works SO much better, and it's cheaper, too.
Teeth whitening products have some hydrogen peroxide in them already, it's also used in all sorts of oral health products.
