Ok so i wanna die my hair with kool-aid. But i wanna know how lonng ittle last?

I recommend doing a strand test. Cut a little bit of your hair from a spot that won't show - about 1/4" wide - and dye it with the kool-aid as you intend to do the rest of your hair. Give it a good rinse and decide if you like the color. If you don't, you can stop there. If you do, wash the strand several times with your usual shampoo. That will give you an idea of how lasting the color is.

12 Female.
Theres this boy i know i've been hanging out with him since the beginning of summer. We have hugged & all that. But today when i was laying down my sister was at the corner of the bed and he was next to her & then i was next to him. He kept holding my hand, & making me feel all loved by him. Then at times he would put his face right near mine. Then finally he kissed me... He hugged me & held my hand, he kept moving his head shaking yes & no. I told him what was wrong? & He asked me out. I didnt know what to say. A Few Minutes After he leaned again and i kissed him but he wanted to make out but i didnt so he stopped and gave me a kiss on the cheek & forehead. Not sure what i wanna do/:

The simple answer is if you are not sure, then no. Tell him you just aren't ready yet and if he accepts it, great. If not, then he is not someone you want to be around.

I think I might be pregnant. My periods are very screwy (I have one about every 4 to 6 months) and I just recently went to my gyno so she could put me on birth control to straighten them out. I have been taking the pill for 3 weeks now and I have been feeling sick all the time and my breasts have been sore. I have no idea whats going on. we've had a history of breast cancer in my family too but I don't think thats it because I'm only 16 years old. I know that the pill makes you sick the first month or so you take it, but theres a possibility I could be pregnant.

Well, it actually sounds a lot like symptoms you can get from new birth control.
My concern is the getting a period every 4-6 months. Did your gyn do any tests to find out what might be the cause of that? An ultrasound should probably be done to check for polycystic ovary syndrome or other internal problems. Bloodwork should also be done. In addition to finding out what is wrong with your periods, those can also let you know if you are pregnant. Did you tell her there is a possibility of being pregnant? If so, she should have done a test before putting you on pills.
Anyway, if you are really concerned, get a pregnancy test to be really sure. Otherwise, if you are still feeling sick for another week or so, call the gyn and let her know. Yes, birth control can make you feel sick in a similar way to pregnancy, but it shouldn't continue to make you sick for too long. There are all sorts of birth control pills and other hormone options that can straighten out your periods. The trick is to find the one that works for you and doesn't make you miserable.

I am a 16 year old female. I am going to be a senior in high school. When I was back in jr high, I had a favorite teacher and it was quite evident that I was his favorite student. We were so close, he was like a second dad to me, how I saw it anyway. Other students were jealous that they didn't get the treatment from him that I did, so badly that the only thing they could come up with is that we were "together". Honestly, from an outsider looking it, it would look as if we were dating. But he would have no intention of dating a 7/8/9 th grader which was what I was in jr high. I am now in sr high and we still stay in contact.
-He comes to my school to watch over some teachers and we'll steal quick glances at each other
-He'll tell me he likes when I visit him during the school year on my walks home
-I'm the only student that during my years of having him and now not having him that is able to call him by his first name
-He asks me for my opinions on his teaching lessons (about what would interest the kids because I had him and he knows that I would be honest if his lessons were boring)
-He asks me about my personal life and he talks to me about his which is something he never does with other students
-One time when I visited him it was during a practice with the kids so I sat there at his desk and saw how the kids were doing and then I went back again with my friend the following week and he didn't let us sit in but he let me sit in alone the week before
-The first time I visited him was after Christmas break with a friend of mine and she asked if he liked his late Christmas present and he said "I love my fantastic Christmas present" and she said after we left that he hadn't looked that happy in a long time.
-The following week, I went alone so he would let me sit in and listen and after every kid had left, he exited his office and was walking out the door to drive home when he saw me standing at the door, he acknowledged that I was still there and asked if I had a ride, if I didn't, he could drive me home. He never offers kids rides home, ever.
He's the only teacher that I still make an effort to see because he was a very important person in my life.
--what do you think about us? more than just student teacher?

I really need to know if you think we are "wrong" because I am going on an 11 day school field trip out of the country and he is the head of the arts, which is what I am going for, so I will be with him everyday. So, are you like everyone else and think we're together or something?

Honestly, I would be very careful. Whether you are in a relationship with him or not, it seems people around you are getting that impression. This could get him into a lot of trouble - once people get these ideas, it is hard to keep them from thinking it and deciding to do something about it. If you are in a relationship, I think you need to talk to him and call it off until you are out of school. If you aren't, you need to make it more clear to the people around you. Biggest thing is that you shouldn't spend time alone with him because then people can make up their own ideas about what happened, and it will be hard to convince them it didn't because it will be your word against theirs, and when it comes to people assuming teacher-student relationships, their word always wins because they try to "protect" the student.
I hope that makes sense and helps some.

i'm 17/f
last night i had sex for the first time in a long time. i'm on birth control, and i take it the right way everyday. he came inside me, and of course i hurt a little afterwards, but i figured that it was just cause it had been a long time. i still hurt a little bit today( we did it about 11 last night) and i noticed today that there's a discharge coming out. is this normal? what does this mean?

What kind of discharge? If it is weirdly colored or smells bad, then it is not normal. Otherwise, there are plenty of things it could be. Some of the semen can come out, also your natural vaginal lubrication. If you had pain, your body very well may have produced more fluids to protect you. If you have a sensitive cervix, that would explain the pain and the discharge (believe me - I know that one!). So, unless it is what I described (color, smell) or lasts a long time, it is normal. Otherwise, see your doctor.

I'm about to be 19 in a couple of weeks and i think i'm like having a mid life crisis for some reason. I have been watching shows I used to watch when I was like 10 and even looking at my old dolls, ones that i used to collect, i was even looking at the collector dolls considering buying them. I've been watching disney movies and just all sorts of kiddish stuff.

I'm just sad I guess because I know I'm not really a kid anymore. The next 6 years will be hard (i'm getting my masters degree.) and i just won't be a kid anymore. Pretty soon I'll be done with school, married, kids, and then i'm dead. It's just so depressing.

I've always acted older for my age, and grew up too fast. Is it normal to feel this way and act this way? at my age haha

You know what, I'm going to keep my answer simple:
Yes, it is totally normal to feel like this when approaching any life milestones. You want to cling to your past because it is what you know and where you feel safe. As long as it doesn't take over your life/keep you from living your life, it is ok. It sounds like you have great plans to look forward to. Take time to acknowledge the sadness and indulge your inner child and then move on with your plans. And know that there will be plenty of times that this will hit you, and it is ok. It is completely normal.

i've heard that stressing about pregnancy can make your body think that you are.
well the problem is that me and my boyfriend were playing around like 2 weeks ago when he precumed a little on my vagina and then fingered me.. so i'm scared that that could've made me pregnant. usually i ALWAYS use a condom and he only went inside me for like 3 seconds. i told him to pull out so he did.. i dont think he ejaculated in me though.
so i've been worrying aLOT that i'm pregnant. i should've gotten my period on wednesday but i didnt :/ my breast hurt a lot but i also get that before a period so i dont know .. i dont have any other symptoms though. and i do get cramping like i do before my period but it doesnt last long and my periods not coming...
i think that i'm pregnant but i've been stressing myself out a lot.. like i've been crying over it pretty much every day since i've missedit. so is that maybe a reason why i've missedit? i'm so scared cause i'm only 17 and if i get a baby now my whole future will be messed up. i'm also so angry at myself cause i'm usually ALWAYS careful except for that one time when i got carried away :(

The other answer is pretty good. I just want to add that stress of any kind can cause your period to be late. Also, you are 17. Your period may change at times. if it gets to be about 2 weeks from when you should have gotten it, get a pregnancy test. Until then, relax as much as you can. It might help to talk to your bf about the possibility that you could be pregnant and plan out how to handle it so that you can still have a bright future. This might help ease the stress a little (I know, not much - there really is nothing anyone can say that will help a lot) and then your body might even out.
I had a lot of late periods at your age, and freaked out with most of them. So, I know how you feel. Since you are cramping and such, I think you should be fine. Like I said, give it a bit of time and then get a test if you need to. The tests are generally more accurate the more time has passed.

hiiii :) .. so i started my period in november of 2010 .. i have been using a pad since i started it . i am in sports and i love to swim so i want to use tampons.
I dont really know how to use them and im really scared !! :/ ahh/
Im not sure where to insert it. my biggest problem is that im scared to do. I dont want to ask my mom because im to nervous to. i want to know how to put it in and if it hurts .. im really sensative around my vagina.
someone pleasee helpp !!! thank you

I have not really had pain with inserting a tampon, but I always had a sensitive cervix, so they were always uncomfortable for me to use. They are pretty easy to use, though. You just stick them in with the string hanging out. There are instructions in the box, which is how I figured it out.
As for being nervous about asking your mom, I know it can feel awkward. Just remember - she's been there too and probably felt just as weird talking to her mom. If you feel you want to ask someone in person and just can't ask your mom, maybe talk to an aunt or a girlfriend.

Does listening to your gut instinct really work?

Generally, I have found it does. There have been times I went against my gut instinct and later found it to be a very bad thing.
Now, sometimes your gut instinct may be wrong, but often what you are feeling is the result of things you have observed through your life. It is your subconscious mind remembering all your life lessons and analyzing the situation. Just ask yourself if what you are feeling makes sense. Then think about what will happen if you act on it and are wrong. Is it more harmful than what would happen if you didn't act and you were right? It can be a tough decision. If you aren't certain, talk to someone about what your gut is telling you and see if they feel something similar.

More recently the normal I have been having bad dreams.. I'll try to explain.

I'll be dreaming of myself dreaming. Except in my dream I am looking at myself sleeping (the surrounding is different though). I know I am dreaming and I try to wake myself up by talking or moving my body or flexing my butt. I don't do this in the dream. And I think I might be doing this in real life but I'm not sure. That's the part that bothers me I don't know if my dream self is doing it or my real self. This morning my mom came in my room (I was dreaming this but it also happened) and I tried to speak and move which I'm not sure if I did or not. But if I did I'm sure I looked like a freak. I don't wake up when I try.. I wake up on my own I guess.

It's scary. Here's another example. I was sleeping and I knew I was sleeping and I wanted to wake up so I tried to open my eyes a lot and I would dream they would open but they wouldn't actually open..

Looking back this has been happening for the longest time but it hasn't gotten scary until now.

I don't know if this makes any sense at all but let me know what you think. Why is this happening? I know dreams are difficult to understand and all but anything?

I have to agree with the answer about sleep paralysis. This used to happen to me all the time. I was really freaked out by it for quite a while. Once I found out that it is not uncommon, that seemed to help. I'm sure everyone is different, but over time this has stopped happening to me. I don't think there is any real reason for it, though I wouldn't be surprised if stress and/or anxiety are factors.

I vividly remember one time when I kept "waking up" but not actually waking up, just moving into a different part of the dream. At one point, I managed to get up from bed and go to the living room. This was after dreaming I had woken up about 3 times. At this point, I wasn't sure if I was awake or not. So, I decided to write about it. I figured that if my writing was there the next day, I had actually woken up. I was about 15 years old and this somehow made sense to me. I still have what I wrote, and I think writing about it helped me to start getting rid of it. That might be something you can try. Perhaps keep a journal of when it happened, any details you remember, and a little about what you did and felt the day before. You might start to see a pattern that will help you to sleep better.

Also, if you are concerned that you are moving or talking in your sleep, you probably aren't. My sister shared a room with me as I went through this when I was a teen. She never noticed anything odd.

I hope it helps to at least know you are not alone and that it will eventually go away.

This is going to sound crazy but like...

My bf was with this girl about 5 months ago. They had sex a few times. I had sex with my boyfriend 2 months ago for the first time.

When he saw me naked and touched me he remarked about how smooth I was down there. He said all the other girls he'd ever been with weren't as smoothe as me. Hes did it with like 6 other girls before. I took it as a compliment.

Then we was talking and he said something about like his last gf had little bumps and he assumed that it was just a part of girls since he'd seen and felt those before.

Ok, now, fast forward now. It's been 2 months since our first time together and now I have these...bump things too? So, I looked it up and ppl say bumps on your vagina are genital warts.

The bumps dont have a head and they wont pop. they're like...around my hole part and...like...just...around that stuff down there.

So, I'm wondering if he some how gave me genital warts from his ex gf? It doesn't make sense because HE doesn't have warts. And he's the first and ONLY guy I've had sex with.

So, could I have some how caught warts from his EX girlfriend? I mean, it dont make sense because he doesnt have bumps but I didnt have these before we did it. Ugh. Anybody got answers? thnx

Yes, genital warts are contagious. Yes, you could have caught them from him if his ex had them.
The vagina is naturally a little bumpy and can change over time.
I recommend seeing a doctor to be on the safe side.

ok...so i have been getting discharge 4 like two weeks...and its SUUUUUUPER heavy..like..i was at school...and i thaught i peed my pants...but its not like green...its white-ish yellow-ish and it doesnt smell THAAAAT bad....what does this mean????????

Your question implies that it does smell some. Any odor outside of normal, especially with discharge, implies an infection. Is there any itching or other discomfort?
Vaginal discharge is seldom green anyway. Usually mostly clear or white. A bit of color (like yellowish) also raises flags.
Vaginal infection can happen to any woman, or girl, even babies can get them. The important thing is to get it checked out by a gynecologist. Some infections, like yeast, can be treated with OTC medicines, but until you know just what the infection is, don't try to treat it on your own. If your doctor tells you it is a yeast infection, in the future you will recognize it and treat it appropriately.
Anyway, get yourself to a gynecologist soon. Even mild infections can spread and get worse. If it turns out to be nothing, then you will know your body normally does this. In that case, you'll want to invest in plenty of pantyliners. But I don't think that is the case.
Depending how old you are (I'm guessing teens), it may seem awkward to bring up to someone who can get you an appointment and take you to the doctor. Just know you can ask your mom or an aunt or any other woman in your family. Chances are that they have had similar problems and will be a big help for you.
Hope that helps!

heyy i was wondering if you know anything about green tea and diet plans, i wanted to start a diet to lose close to 10 lbs in a month. and I heard green tea was a good way to burn fat.
Do you know a good diet plan? and Im 16f and a vegetarian.

I'll be honest, I don't know much about a good diet plan for a vegetarian. I'm accustomed to plans high in protein, particularly lean meats. I do know green tea is supposed to help, but I'm not sure how much.
10 lbs in a month is a reachable goal, but in general losing more than 2 lbs in a week is not good for your body, so I wouldn't recommend it for more than a month.
The most important this is to keep your diet balanced and has variety, and watch portion size. As a vegetarian, you will want to look for other sources of protein, as protein supports your muscle growth. Muscle growth increases your metabolism, which allows you to lose weight easier.
Make sure you stay active, try to get at least 30 minutes of exercise every day. Like the diet, your exercise program should have variety. Try to include both strength training exercises (squats, crunches, weights, etc) to build muscle and aerobic exercises (jogging, jumping jacks, swimming) to bring up your heart rate and burn calories.
Also very important is to drink a lot of water. This may be where green tea comes in handy. It support metabolism while keeping you hydrated. Having plenty of water (minimum of a liter per 50 lbs body weight, more is better) will help flush out fats. It will also keep you from feeling hungry, so you can keep your portion sizes down.
I hope that helps.

I have had a regulated period for the last year or two, and have recently come across a problem regarding it. In July of 2009, my period stopped. I got signs that it might be coming, but it never did. In December of 09, I finally thought I was going to get it and I never did. Instead, I started spotting. I would get times where I would bleed (so I would assume it was my period), but then the bleeding would stop later in the day. This has been going on for the past month.

I don't know what to do. I can't really see a doctor because my dad's health insurance dropped me, and I was recently let go from my job. My boyfriend and I are in debt, so neither of us could really pay for a doctor's appointment. (His doctor charges $70 for a check-up with her if you're not insured).

I was thinking of going to Planned Parenthood on Saturday to maybe get some birth control because I'm thinking maybe the BC would help regulate me again and get me back to normal, but I want an opinion first before I go and spend money I don't really have.

I know none of you are doctors, but if any of you have an idea of what this might be and what I could, please please help me. This is not only concerning my boyfriend and I, but it's also ruining my sex life. If you can't help, thanks for your time and I'll give the doctor a call tomorrow. :) Thank you in advance!

My period did that. Still does. I have PolyCystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS).
If your normally regular period stops being regular and you are not pregnant or ill, the only thing you can do is see a doctor. It could be something that, if caught early enough, can be treated simply (for instance, PCOS can be managed with birth control, but if it has already gotten out of hand, surgery may be necessary. I've had laparoscopic surgery twice now). Or it could be something more serious. The only way to be certain is to get to a doctor and to do so right away.
I know it is not easy for you to do that right now, but if you put this off, you could risk making whatever the problem is worse which will cost more in the long run.

ok so my boyfriend fingered me the other day
hes done it before usually one or two fingers..im really tight.
but the other day he tried three and since then ive been in pain

and i checked it out in a mirror today, and its really swollen, and my vagina is really swollen and much tighter than usual...and theres white in the hole...what the heck is wrong with me?

it hurts really bad and itches and it hurts when i pee...
WHAT IS THIS IM SO SCARED
please help!!

When I had a yeast infection (which hurts and itches), I was also a little swollen.
The only thing to do is see a doctor. He (or she) will do a culture to determine what kind of infection you have (seems almost certain it is an infection, from the way you described it) and prescribe the appropriate meds.

when i masterbate i orgasum but then i have to stop and for some reason i cant go any further because my hands start to ache, but i wotn to keep going so that i cum any help ? :)

Definitely invest in a good vibrator. If you want one that is affordable, but good quality, try the mini wanachi. It is small, powerful, and inexpensive. My favorite so far. Also good for sore muscles.

Hey(: My Names Jessica Im 15 & A Sophmore In Highschool(:
Im president of the Breast Cancer Awareness Club at my school. Where I live, they dont let us raise money, ( us as in the school itself). So I need help trying to raise awareness in the school. We just started selling shirts for the club, so we dont need that anymore. It'll be awesome if you could tell me some walkathons that we could attend( I live in miami, fl) and some things we could do by other companys to raise money. Thanks in advance, Jessica(:

You should look into Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. It looks like the walk in your area this year has already happened, but it occurs annually.
http://main.acsevents.org/site/TR/MakingStridesAgainstBreastCancer/MSABCFY10Florida?pg=entry&fr_id=19824
If you go to the American Cancer Society website, they have a lot of info on activities and fundraising. The site is cancer.org.

Good luck, and thank you for taking an early interest in such a great cause!

I am a college student and am having such a hard time now, but am afraid to start therapy. I have gotten through so many issues by myself, including self-injury and bulimia, but I feel that I shouldn’t have done it on my own. I feel like I can survive on my own, but I am not very happy.

I am afraid to start therapy because of the money too. I am under my parents’ insurance and I am unsure if they would find out. I don’t want them to find out, and I’m also not sure if I would have enough money to pay for it anyway.

What should I do? Should I try to keep doing things by myself or should I try to get therapy despite everything?

You already know therapy would help, or you wouldn't be trying to figure it out. You should also know that your parents can help, and hiding from them may add to the stress you are under.
Check with your school. Many colleges have counseling programs for the students at low cost. You will not be seeing a therapist, but a counselor. You may find them to be very helpful.

If that doesn't work, talk to your parents. I know you prefer for them not to know, but trust me on this one. Let them know you want to get help for this but aren't sure you can afford it. As a parent and as someone who has suffered depression and bipolar disorder (even attempted suicide), I know that they will help you. It is hard to ask for help, especially from loved ones, but it really is often the best way to get the help you need.

hi
i do often masterbute.since i was 14 and now i am 22 .i.e for six years.so tell me what are the effects of mastu. and how can i avoid it.

my second queston is how can i know if a girl is virgin or not. the first time i do sex with a virgin how should i do it ,should i directly enter my penis or are there other methods

Sorry to sound snippy here, but it would be 8 years, not 6. There are no bad effects to masturbation that I'm aware of. If there are, I'm in trouble ;)
Don't know how you can tell if a girl is a virgin. It's been 15 years since I was one. If she says she is, then take her word for it I guess. With a virgin, sex is pretty much the same, just take it slow. For some girls, the first time can hurt, but not all do. Just be aware if it does, and pay attention to what she wants. Of course, even if she isn't a virgin you should be aware and pay attention to what she wants.

what is s&m..? =&

S&M is sadism and masochism.
In sex, it is usually a mutual play between a dominant person and a submissive person, often involving whips or spanking for erotic purposes.
Done right, it is a lot of fun.
