ok.. so i have some tests that i want to pass so i can get a good grade in my class.. one class is math.. i dont really know how to study for it.. becasue.. well.. its math..another one is french.. i know what to study.. but when it comes time for me to actually sit down and study.. i get distracted by many reasons.. i need help on how to study officently.. if you have any idea of a schedule i can work out for study habits.. that would really help me.. With Math I found it hard to study too!!
The best thing I found to do was buy cheap test exam books and go through one a week. You can even download tests from the internet. It's a really good way to revise as it's testing your memory and how much you actually know about each area, it also means you can mark yourself and see which areas you are weaker on and practise more on those.
With French the best way to revise is with a friend! They can help you with bits you don't know and vice-versa. It also means you can practise your verbal french which is impotant too.
As for a schedule, it depends what other subjects you have to fit in. The best thing to do though is to work out what you actually HAVE to do with your time and then from there work out what time you have left to study - don't forget though you need to balance it with a social life! All work and no play is NO FUN!!

hey, Does anyone have any tips for eyebrow shaping & maybe some pictures?
I have blue/grey/green/yellow? colour eyes and they are slightly round & i want to make them look more oval.
Also i want them to look more upward slanting and not so close together.

I'm not too good with eyebrow shaping as I have mine waxed! (Can't stand the pain of them being plucked!!)
With your eyes, to make them look more oval and upward slanting use a dark brown (or for a more dramatic look use black) eye liner and use on your bottom lids, when you get to the outer end of your eye lid (The side nearest your ear!) go slightly over and up.
This is what I do to make my eyes look more cat-like!

Well, I took a midol at school, and I didn't have anything to wash it down with (my schools water is actually toxic..we've done tests)so I used saliva..well it didn't work to well, and I knew it was residing somewhere near the bottom of my throat. I figured it would go down eventually and didn't worry about it. Well 5 minutes later I started getting a very uncomfortable burning feeling in the lower part of my throat. The pain shot all the way down into my upper back. It went away after an hour (mostly) and I went on with my day. Well today during lunch I realized that everytime I swallowed (food, drink, air) my throat began burning alot, and it feels alot like the time I had broncitis and developed a lot of scar tissue in my throat...uncomfortable. Or the time I vomited 6 times in a row. I know it was the midol, but my question is, "What did it do to me? And should I tell someone or see if it stops...?" (link)

It has probably just irritated the lining of your throat.
I wouldn't worry too much about it uless it is still there tomorrow.
Drink lots of water and eat soft foods and if it's not better in the morning then tell your Mom/Dad and see what they say.

P.s Why don't you carry around a small bottle of water in your bag so that if you ever have to take on e agian then you have a liquid to wash it down with!

The exact same thing could've happened to me when I was a bridesmaid for my friend in the Dominican Republic!
One of my friends told me that my Doctor could prescribe me a drug to stop it!!!
In the UK it is called Norethisterone.
Norethisterone is a progestogen hormone tablet, which you take three times a day for three days before your period is due and then for duration of your holiday to delay the period. At the end of this time, the tablets are stopped and your period starts as normal!!
It doesn't do you any damage and there were no side effects (That I experienced, but everyone is different)- it even stopped my stomach from getting bloated!!

This semester, I have decided to take AP US History. Today was the first day of school. When I got to that class, my teacher started off saying that:
1. homework would take at LEAST 2 hours a night, not including time for studying
2. if we had a hard time reading and comprehending -which I do-, that our grade will suffer greatly
and
3. we are required to read books outside of class that she assigns throughout the semester
When I first heard all of that, I got upset: I knew that I would suffer a lot in this class. I'm a horrible and slow reader, and she said that chapters frequently would have to be read in one night. I'm planning on telling my dad all of this tonight and asking him if I can switch into honors world history instead, but I don't think that he will want me to. How do I convince him that I will fail this class, or possibly get a C or D? By the way, he always tells me stuff like "you're the smartest kid I ever met", meaning that he won't accept me not taking the highest level class. (link)

That's a tough one!
If you are really sure that you will not be able to cope with this class then you could try talking to the teacher that is teaching the class and get her to maybe write a letter or invite your Dad to the school for a chat - if he wont listen to you.
In the first instance though I would try telling him how you feel and that you want to switch - you never know it may work. If not before you go to your teacher, how about speaking to a realtive or a close friend of your Dads about it, he may be more receptive if it is an adult that tells him.
Whatever happens good luck and I hope you manage to get him to let you switch.

It's just a really nice comment that's all, although if he begins to do it more often then there is a chance he might like you in that way!
Best thing to do is just ask him, especially if you like him "that way" too. If not then you'll just have to wait and see!!

My hair is really curly too.
If I were to attempt this style I'd probably straighten my hair as best I could, use loads of John Frieda Frizz-Ease serum then use heated curling tongs to curl chunks individually then I'd probably use a light wax to hold it.
Saying that it'd probably take 5 minutes outside to make it it's normaly curly self again anyway!

Use lots of aftersun, preferably one with Aloe Vera!
Drink lots of water. If it starts to blister DO NOT pop them as this can cause you to scar.
If it gets really bad then go to see your doctor as he can provide creams that you can put on to a)Stop the itch and b)make it heal quicker.
Next time you go (if you decide to go again!) put sunscreen on , reduce the time you are in there for and the heat intensity.

It is entirely personal choice!
Depending on how heavy your periods are will depend on how messy it gets.
There are +'s and -'s to it.
-'s are that it can get messy!
+'s are that having an orgasm can alleviate period pain! If it does get messy you get to shower together after!
It is entirely yours and your artners choice whether to or not but if you do, may I recommend an old towel/blanket underneath you both to save staining anything important!

In a nutshell...
Many of the laws of ordinary algebra hold also for vector algebra. These laws are:
Commutative Law for Addition: A + B = B + A
Associative Law for Addition: A + (B + C) = (A + B) + C
The verification of the Associative law is shown below.
If we add A and B we get a vector E. And similarly if B is added to C , we get F .
Now D = E + C = A + F. Replacing E with
(A + B) and F with (B + C), we get
(A +B) + C = A + (B + C) and we see that the law is verified.
Stop now and make sure that you follow the above proof.
If so then you shouldn't have any further issues.

Me and my boyfriend had sex 4 or 5 days ago, he didn't cum but wen he pulled out to check if everything was ok the condom was broken. Im worried that i may be pregnant due to pre-ejaculation, even though we don't think he ejaculated at all. The first thing you need to do is STOP WORRYING!!
Stress can cause your periods to be irregular and late so worrying will not help!!
It is true that you could be pregnant as his penis was inside you without a condom! (A broken condom doesn't count!)
My advice to you would be to wait another few days, try to calm down (I know it's hard!), if there is still no sign of your period then do a home testing kit.
Depending on what the results are depends on what you do next. If the result is negative then you've had a lucky escape and could think about going onto the birth control pill as well as using condoms! (You can never be too safe!)
If the result comes up positive then talk to your parents/boyfriend/friend/doctor and take things from there.

Haemorrhoids can protrude out of the butt.
They are be very common - especially during the pregnancy and childbirth.
It is a myth that haemorrhoids are a "gay" problem, as it is commonly thought, and that you get them from anal sex. You DO NOT get them from anal sex.
50% of the world population suffer from haemorrhoids and most of them had not engaged in anal sex in their lifetime!

Hi there,
Obviously birth control will prevent you from getting pregnant in the immediate future! (After all that's what it's for!)
The birth control options that are out on the market now have all been through rigorous testing so that it will not damage your chances of concieving in the future.
That said, people's bodies all react differently to different types of birth control.
The "pill" has many different types and they say that if you have been using the pill and would like to become pregnant then it normally takes a month of so to get out of your system. That said I have a firend who has been trying for a baby for 18 months now who had to wait a year to see a fertility specialist because she had previously been on the pill.
If you are consdiering getting pregnant in the next 2 years then i PERSONALLY (this is not a medical opinion, just mine!) would stick to using barrier contraception, such as condoms.
I would also advise anyone from using the contraceptive implant as in my PERSONAL (again, I am not a doctor) experience it is terrible! Gave me mood swings, bad skin and made me put on weight!
The best thing you can do is to go and see your doctor, he/she will be able to tell you what the options are and answer any questions you have about the medication you will be using!

Helow.... I'm a 18 year old girl and I live now in the Philippines and I used to live in Holland because my mum married a Dutch man and he brought us there.. After few months there, I made lots of nice friends.. I didn't have homesick anymore because people there are always nice to me.. I really enjoyed my life there.. But my father thought that we should go back in the Philippines.. But he stayed there because of his work.. My problem is ... I wanna go back in Holland.. I miss my friends, and I really enjoyed my 1 year and 3 months of staying there.. I convinced my dad to go back there, also my sister convinced him but he doesn't want to because of financial problem (he said), but we don't ask money to him.. we don't spend much money, we're contented on allowance that he used to give to us, besides we're only four in the house.. So i don't think that it's the problem.. and besides he's not a poor guy.., he's just afraid to lose his money i think.. Please help me, how would i convince him to go back in Holland? (link)

I really feel for you being in this situation.
So you have spoken to your Dad so knows how you feel, have you tried talking to your Mum? How does she feel? Would she like to go back?
If he is not a poor guy and he wants to go back then I don't see why he is not!
I know you have already told him but tell him again how you are feeling and that you really want to go back home.
Tell him that if it is the money that he is worried about then you and your sister are prepared to get jobs to help cover the costs (if you are able to).
If, like you said, he is not a poor man then I don't think money is the real reason he does not want to go back. It may be worth trying to get to the bottom of why he REALLY doesn't want to go.
I really wish you luck and I hope that you manage to work out some compromise so that you are all happy!

Hi there,
Your hamster chewing on the bars of his cage is nothing for you to worry about! He's just sharpening and shortening his teeth! If him chewing the cage really bothers you then get him a milk bone (they are for dogs and you can get them at the pet shop) my hamster used to love them. She also loved strands of uncooked spaghetti and pasta and as a special treat we used to give her a piece of cooked corn on the cob, we dangled it through the top of her cage on a piece of string and she'd spend HOURS trying to run off and bury it with provided her with entertainment as well as vitmains and something to sharpen her teeth on!
The other thing to remember is that hamsters can hibernate!
All it takes for a hamster to want to hibernate is the temperature aroung him to drop a few degrees and it may male him start going into a hibernation period. Make sure he is somewhere warm and give him some extra bedding and he should be back to normal in no time if this is what is wrong!
If you do this and don't notice any change in 2-3 days then I would advise getting him checked out by a vet!

I have an I-Pod and a Sony Bean and I only ever use the Bean!
It's much easier to use, the battery lasts longer and it's a LOT smaller to carry round.
they are nowhere near as expensive either!
