Ok, so. I like this girl, shes a year or so older than me, and we're insanely good friends. Like, we tell each other everything and we'll always be there for each other.
If she notices that I dont look "ok" (like if i look upset or mad, etc.) she'll call me after i get home and ask me whats wrong, and likewise with me. So one day I asked her if I was "Dateable" and she said "for me?" and i was like "no you're way to far outta my league" and she was like "ok, yeah in general you are, but not for me.." which basically crushed me... So i was like great..Now i know she wont ever like me.
And NOW, she has a boyfriend which i cant stand. I mean i really like her, but now im just thinking about giving up because she wont ever like me now..
what should i do..?
I understand how you feel because I'm 16/f and my best friend is 15/m. There's always going to be some form of attraction between girls and guys who are best friends. Always. So if she says that she's not attracted to you, she is lying through her teeth.
She obviously cares about you a lot if she notices when you're down.
So when you said "No, you're way too far outta my league" that was kind of sending her the signal that "we shouldn't date" which is probably why she said what she did (to make it seem as if she wasn't lusting after a lost cause). Also, there's an insanely high chance that she doesn't want to risk damaging the friendship.
Speaking of damaging the friendship, that is really something that you're going to have to think about if you want to bring up the fact that you really like her. DO NOT hint that you like her until after she and her boyfriend have broken up. You don't want to be the reason that there are problems between them, and truth be told, her boyfriend is probably not entirely okay with her hanging out with you all the time. Once again, there's always going to be attraction between girls and guys who are best friends.
Don't give up, and don't assume that she doesn't like you or that she never will. Things change, believe me.
My advice to you is to wait it out. Hopefully she and her boyfriend will call it quits and then you can eventually talk about it with her. Communication is key- since you're best friends, you need to be on the same page at least if you're going to pursue a relationship.

my older sister is in town for a few weeks and she's over 21, and everything thinks we look extremely alike so is there ANY possible way i could get caught for using her drivers license to sneak into clubs b/c it is a real drivers license and they can't "prove" i'm not that person! and don't worry this is just once i'm not the type of girl to get all drunk and stupid and get into lots of trouble, i just want to feel the excitement of actually being in a real nightclub! thank you so much!!
If you do get caught doing something like that, there are HUGE consequences. You can get in so much trouble it's not even funny, even if you don't drink or anything. I'm going to advise you against it... think about how many people use fake I.D.'s in college though. Ultimately it's your choice, but if you get caught you are basically screwed.
I have to make a cereal box for a school project.
the catch is, the cereal box has to have something to do with morality, conscience, church, Jesus, etc.
the name of the cereal has to sound like a regular cereal. for example: Captain Conscience, Church Charms
I can't use those because other kids in my class are using them so I need some ideas!

OMG i am freaking out right now. for the past few months i've been texting and calling my friend but not a lot. but everytime i call him he doesnt pick up, and this other person picks up cursing me off. but when my friend texts me, its him. i dont get it, and its the same number. and today he texted me and i answered him. he calls me and leaves me a voicemail, only its not him its the other person! he said idc who you are you better stop fcking calling this number. then he texts me and says yeah bitch found out all your info, pressing charges, enjoy! is that possible to find out someones info just by their cell phone number? i'm seriously really scared, someone please give me any advice!
You're not going to get in trouble. The phone number mix-up is an honest mistake and it's not like you're harassing the random guy or anything. Besides that, it's very difficult to find someone's information based on a cell phone number. I think he was just saying that to scare you. Try not to call/text your friend's number until it's fixed. In the meantime, ask your friends if they've ever had that problem calling that number. At this point, I seriously doubt it's actually your friend pranking you or something, but it won't hurt to talk to him about it just to be like, "You know, I keep trying to call your number and this weird freaky guy picks up the phone." Don't worry about it!
Recently I have downloaded a program for extracting audio from video. This means I could take a video and use only the sound, especially if it was a song!
I would download the youtube video, usually pretty good quality, and I would use the audio extractor to take the video away, turn it into an audio file and put it on my ipod!
Now: Is this or is this not illegal?

It is, by technicality, pirating music and therefore considered illegal, but the feds aren't going to come knock down your door anytime soon for downloading free media for your iPod. It's kind of a personal choice- I don't like to illegally download things like video or music without paying because I feel bad about it. I feel like I'm cheating whoever recorded the music out of money and such. So I use iTunes instead of Limewire. You're not going to get thrown in jail for it, by any means, but if it makes you feel bad, then pay for it :)
okay so im kinda in a rut and i was just wondering, can you guys give me advice on why its important to be grateful for everything you have? also can you give me some examples of where youve personally had to believe that. also, people always say to me every experience has a silver lining. any thoughts? also...what do you really believe in? and why? like...i believe that you should always treat others the way you would like to be treated. what do you think? any thoughts would be appreciated. im going through a hard time right now and i just need some advice on beliefs and values. thank you for your time.

Anyway, I personally believe in using my abilities and talents to help other people and make the world a better place. Even if it's just living my life to give someone an example or encouragement. I'm not too crazy about religion, but I am a spiritual person. We all have gifts and talents that we should be thankful for, because we can use them to make the world a better place. There are a lot of famous people who use their fame to spread messages about things that they care about, as far as charities and whatnot. So I think that people need to look beyond religion, color, nationality, etc. and just see that we are all the same. We need to understand each other more. If everybody would just communicate and contribute, things would be better.
So keeping with the theme of belief... in the song, the lyrics talk about how belief can be both good and bad. It's like, the reason people go to war is because of their beliefs and they just need to try to stand in each other's shoes. Like:

Like punching underwater
You never can hit who you're trying for
To me, that means that yes, belief is good- but if you force your beliefs on somebody else (the heaviest sword), then that's asking for trouble. And with the punching underwater thing, you end up hurting EVERYBODY else, even if you don't mean to.

If belief is what we're fighting for
That sums it up too. If we just force our personal beliefs on other people without first listening to them, nothing is going to change. It's only going to create turmoil.
So personal belief is good, but don't assume that everybody's going to accept your belief. However, if your personal belief prompts you to make a difference in someone else's life, that is the greatest belief of all.
i have a teal dress for a formal at my school and i was wondering what color shoes to buy? i'm not really a fan of the silver shoes they have for prom but i really can't think of any colors that would look good with teal
You can get shoes dyed to match the color of your dress. I wouldn't go with black unless you paired it with a black necklace and/or purse, like someone else said. If all else fails, silver looks alright too :)
you know how there are age limits for different movies? well, if a kid is in a movie, and they are either under the rated R limit or under the PG-13 limit, do they still get to go into the theatre to see it at the premiere?
If you're with a parent or guardian, or someone who is an adult, then you can get in. And if you buy from the automated ticket things that you put a debit/credit card in, that doesn't require ID. And most of the time, the people working in the ticket booth don't really care either way. They are more strict about R than PG-13 so check the rating before you go.

I would say that if a guy pays for dinner and a movie (and breakfast) with a girl, he's interested in her.
My dog is throwing up blood as well as pooping it. This only started happening a week ago and has only happened twice within a week apart. She has a really weak stomach and throws up alot but never blood. She is an inside dog and only eats dog food the same as always. I dont want to take her to the vet because everytime I do that it costs a ton of money and last time I mentioned it they said it was just a weak stomach and they would put her on meds, I really dont want her on any meds for the rest of her life She is only 7 years of age and healthy otherwise. Is there any thing I can do or should I just break down and take her to the vet because it has been blood????
If you were throwing up and crapping blood, would your parents take you to the hospital even though it would be expensive? Yes.
Your dog's situation is very serious. No matter the hassle, cost, etc. you NEED to take your dog to the vet. If she needs medicine, you need to provide that for her. Anytime a pet excretes blood is a sign that you should take it to a doctor.
ok so i need some advice. im 16 and a junior, and a straight A student. two weeks ago i did very bad on my test and my grade dropped to an 82%. now, i would be happy with that grade because honestly i dont think you should be measured by the grades you get and i know im a good student and all. my dad however is sort of insane when it comes to grades. if he sees any grade lower than an A, he goes crazy and basically grounds me. no car, no friends, no life. seriously im getting really sick of it!!!! i have an 82, which is a B and a B is actually above average, but NO, its not good enough for him. idk what to do? seriously if i get a B on my report card for him its the end of the word. so what should i do? how shud i talk to him? (trust me ive tried everything). Should i talk to my teacher to see if i can raise my grade!??? What if i cant? i need some serious help!!!!
Before you even let your dad know what's going on, talk to your teacher! Can you retake the test? Can you do extra credit? Grovel at your teacher's feet. If you're lucky, you will be able to fix the grade and your dad won't even have to know. If the grade can't be fixed, there's really nothing you can do. I've been in your situation before. You just have to deal with it and move on because after all, it's just a grade.
okay well one day i jus turned on my computer & now everthing is jumbo sized. like on my desktop everythings bigger then usual. i tried restarting my computer, changing moniters. what do i do to fix this? PLEASE HELP! & dont say "get it looked at by someone"
If you have Windows:
Right click on the desktop
Choose "Properties"
Go to "Settings"
And choose a different screen resolution.
The bigger numbers are what you want... ie: my screen is set on 1200 x 800 pixels.
EDIT: You should have specified that. Vista is not nearly as widely used as XP, the Windows operating systems before it, or even Mac systems. Your expectance of me to know what particular operating system you run is very cavalier and unnecessary.

Hello. This is LM, and this time I'm the one who needs advice! Anyways, I recently got my permit. I went through driver's ed, I'm doing driving school in a couple months, etc. etc.
I know the rules of the road, I don't speed, things like that. I went on the highway for the first time today, got off at the first exit, and ended up in rush hour traffic (well, for a small town we have a LOT of cars, haha) and to put it bluntly, I freaked out. I didn't lose control of the car, so I know I as doing okay. Is there any way I can reduce my anxiety/nervousness about driving? Tips from experienced drivers, or actually anyone who drives legally, will help me out more than you can imagine.

I definitely know the anxiety you're talking about, and the only way to get over it is just to practice driving as much as you can. I've been driving since last June, and there are still some things that freak me out but I no longer break out in a cold sweat every time I have to make a left turn onto a highway or something. When I first started driving, I got so nervous about things that it was unreal. If I needed to go anywhere by myself, I would have to have a route planned out because I was so scared of getting lost or something. And the only thing that helped me was time. Over time, I got much, much better about not being as anxious. So just keep driving, and take some deep breaths- the anxiety will pass, believe me! And don't let your friends ride with you until the anxiety is gone- the first time I let someone else ride with me was a few months after I had gotten my license, and it was raining and I seriously almost had a cow. It took me a while to realize that knowing the road rules and feeling comfortable driving are two totally different things. Just keep driving, and it will get better!

LM's right, it says high school grad- so it doesn't apply to you. Besides that, there are child labor laws that would conflict with your age. There are some places that hire at 15, and most places hire at 16. You can still apply, but it would be best to wait a few years.

Im considering getting my septum peirced as i will be able to hide it at school and from my dad at weekends and my school during the week. The only reason im considerind the septum is because its easy to hide. i have a few questions on what people think of septum peircings....
(im 13 but look about 15/16) will i look silly with it peirced because im not an adult yet ???

Personally, I've always thought the septum piercing looked weird on girls. I think the cutest kind of nose piercing to have is something like Joss Stone's:
