i babysit one 5 year old girl and one 7 year old boy every tuesday, and i dont know what to do with them. they only can watch tv or play video games for a total of 1 hour and 30 minits. the girl always wants to play barbies or computer games with me and i can tell the boy gets kind of bored. could someone help me come up with some crafts or games i can play with both of them? thanx i rate high (link)

i know what your going through, i babysit 5 kids everyday (ages 4-12). Ask the boy what he likes to do...see if he wants to play any specific games. otherwise you can go to

this is the website I go to when any kids are bored, there are a ton of crafts you can do with things around the house. there are so many crafts, you will never get bored! if they dont have anything around the house, you can do what they did in the Babysitter's Club books. bring a kid kit. just use like and old lunch box or shoebox, and fill it with craft supplies (the whole thing probably doesn't cost more than $10 to make) and it is sooo worth it! you can put construction paper, glue, tape, straws, safety scizzors, crayons, markers, stickers, yarn, whatevere else odds and ends you can get. Even throw in some old board games that you don't use anymore if you can...trust me, this is the type of thing kids like, I have had 5 years experience. Hope I helped...plz rate!...hersheylover...

Okay this summer I may have to babysit my next door neighbor...every weekday (not too sure on the days and time) but anyways...she's maybe 12 or 13..either way she is ALOT younger than I am and i dont like younger girls all too much...anybody know what 12-13 year old girls would like to do? She has a trampoline in her backyard and i'm sure shes got loads of board games but i'm not sure what to do at all...can anyone help? (link)

Im 13 too, and after babysitting for 5 years for my 5 siblings (and being babysat myself when I was younger) Here are some tips:
Ask her what she wants to do
just hang out, dont act like you dont know what to do
does she like computers? if she does, try helping her make her own advice column (if her parents permit)
most of the time, she'll want to do her own thing
the trampoline sounds like a good way to start
she might want to know what it was like growing up (beware)or she might want to just talk
also BEWARE- she might end up devoloping a crush on you, I went through the same thing when I was younger...if this happens, just be nice, she will eventually get over it.
Dont sweat it, just act normal (if you can), and pretend like she's your friend, I guarantee it will work out! ...hersheylover...

what i reccomend is to just be nice to him as much as possible. try taking over a chore or two. if he starts to get hostile about it, just back off and let him cool down. don't let your niceness get to his head though, because you dont want him mooching off of you.
as for your brothers exgf's brother, you should still be able to be friends with him no matter whats going on between your brother and his ex. if your brother has a problem with it, tell him it doesn't concern him anymore since he got dumped. (a little more nicely though) keep on being friends with the guy, and be nice to your brother, and it should all work out, if not, call me for better advice...please rate...hersheylover

I've liked this one guy since I was in 5th grade (i'm in 8th now) and when I first saw him I liked him immediately, kind of like love at first sight. Anyway, I let him know I liked him at the end of 6th grade and he seemed a little creeped out about it, so we never talked about it again and we were still friends. But in seventh grade he said hi to me on the first day of school and I said hi, how was your summer, etc. But he didn't talk to me for the whole year that year and when I talked to him he just shugged his shoulders and walked really fast away from me. So I didn't try to talk to him again that year. This year he's in almost all of my classes and sits beside me in 4 of them. He always talked to me this year, from the first day on. Now we talk about EVERYTHING. He's like one of my best friends. But I still like him much more than a friend. BTW, when I flirted with one of his friends this year he got really mad at me but after I stopped talking to his friend and went back to flirting and talking with him he forgave me completely. It sounds like he likes you but he is not sure how to express himself. I'm not talking about some Indian rain dance here, just he is not sure how to act around you. Do you feel that you are dropping hints everwhere, and that he couldn't step in one even if he had RONALD MCDONALD'S feet? Are you too scared to ask him how he feels about you now? Ask a friend to ask him for you. (hint hint).
This may be a bad idea, but it may work...talk to one of his best friends, one you know he tells everything too. Then maybe you'll get some answers.
Maybe once you find out how he really feels about you, you won't have to worry so much.

Well,
Is it possibly because you have a dog, and maybe the cat is mimiking it for attention. It sounds like it is being normal though. If is doesn't have any strange behaviors that could put it or any other animal in danger, I wouldn't worry too much. Just give it some extra love and attention. I know what your going through, the same thing happened with my little brother. Well just act normal around her, if not a little nicer. Be a real gentleman. Maybe she secretly likes you too. What I would do, is tell your friend about it first. If it is too embarrasing, send him an email. If he was really your friend he would understand. If he is overly protective of her, I would talk to the girl and ask her how she feels about you or have another friend ask her how she feels. If she likes you too, talk it over with her brother. If he doesn't think that you two should go out, its her life and she can choose who she wants to go out with. Hope I helped...-hersheylover.

well you have several possibilities. He could have just had a good day and was being nice to everyone. He could be having mood swings. But just keep acting normal around him and keep being nice. well you could ask your parents about a chemical treatment but I don't recomend it. It is very hard on your hair, and can damage your scalp. I recomend talking to someone at the beuty shop. Or you could ask someone at Sally's Beuty Supply Store. But be sure you talk anything over with your parents first. But before you go to the extremes of changing your hair consider why you would want to. If it is just too hard to manage, then go ahead and talk to someone at the beuty shop. But if you are trying to change it to be cool, just save the trouble and try styling it or wearing it a different way. Hope I helped...hersheylover

not really, if you have a friend who doesn't really know them, casually bump into them and start a conversation about you, then maybe it wouldn't be so akward. Guys are typically dumb about that kind of thing anyway. But the one thing you have to be careful about is accedentally having the guy fall in love with your friend.Try a friend who's not interested at all in having a relationship. well, i would recomened a rabbit. they are quiet, can stay outside if you have a rabbit hutch. (and a fenced in yard away from dogs), they also can be trained to walk on a leash at a very early age. they are also very clean animals. be sure to get them declawed, because they can scratch. talk to the people at your pet store. im sure you can find one you like. hope i helped...hersheylover

well consider why it is acting the way it is. is it a new cat? if it is maybe it was abused in its former home. there also could be a health factor involved. maybe it is in pain, and that is why it is acting strangely. i reccomened taking it to the vet. Also, whenever one of my cats is bad, it means he wants attention. Hope i helped... hersheylover
