I have light blue eyes. I am basically what you would think of when you think of a girl from Sweden. I have this long curly light hair, fair skin, and really big blue eyes. I have grown kind of fond of my look, but I want to know if there's anyway I could make my eyes more exotic-looking? Just to see how it looks. I get kind of jealous when I see girls with long dark hair, tanned skin, curvy bodies and deep dark eyes. Their eyes are so beautiful. Could I get my eyes to look a bit more exotic? Thanks.

My eyes are naturally "cat eye" shaped, and I get a ton of compliments because of that. If you want to simulate that sort of shape, try extending your eyeliner a bit up and past your lashline. Kind of think Cleopatra, but not quite as extreme.

One tip that I can give you is to wear as little makeup as possible. Models are meant to be a canvas for the designer/photographer/stylist to use. If you're wearing a bunch of makeup, they won't be able to see what they have to work with.

I think I might be pregnant. My breasts have become bigger/swollen and even my mom has noticed that. I have had sex in november a few times and I havent gotten my period yet this month. my back hurts sometimes and my stomach feels all jumpy and stuff like there are butterflies in it. i dont know what I should do. How close are you to your mom? If the two of you are close, then I would talk to her about it. If not, get one of your close girlfriends to go with you to buy a home pregnancy test. If it turns up negative, wait a week and take another one, just to be sure. If it's positive, you need to go see a doctor and get checked out to make sure there aren't any problems, and so that she can advise you on what you need to do next.

I have no idea what i want to do in life. I have 3 years left in highschool and i want to do so many things and still live in florida. but i keep hearing my dad talk about how i wont be able to afford it. so i was thinking about moving to mexico or puerto rico. but the jobs i would want to be dont pay well in those places. For example i want to do something with kids. (daycare, nursing, etc) or I want to work for a magazine (editor, writer, etc). Also i've thought about working as a hotel manager. But i dont like the "benefits." Im not exactly sure what the question is i am asking. I just need a little advice on something im talking about. sorry if im confusing. but i am confused and im trying to explain this as easy es possible. (link)

I'm not sure why your dad is telling you that you can't afford to do the things that you want to do. If you go to college, you have a very good chance of landing a good job. Since you're in Florida, so long as you're getting good grades, there's a very good chance that your college will be paid for in full or atleast partially, with a Bright Futures Scholarship, which means you will be coming out ahead of kids who have to pay off student loans.
As far as figuring out exactly what you want to do, I would suggest talking to a guidance counselor and taking a career assesment test.
You could always major in something like Business, which would be helpful no matter what job you go into. But since you are interested in working for a magazine, why not try being a Journalism or English major?

You could try using some light weights and doing some exercises with them to make your arms have some muscle definition. That way they'll look a little bigger without looking fat, plus you'll be stronger.

im thinking of selling my guitar. My Mum spent a fortune on it, about £200+ ($400+) and i dont even play it. The problem is, i dont know how and where to sell it. I want to make the money back, and maybe even a profit, but i think thats pretty unrealistic as its second hand. i cant find it anywhere on the net, so i cant find an average price. its a vintage metal axxe, mostly glossy black, but yellow aswell.Those shops that buy things off you to sell, like a pawn shop just rip people off so i dont want to do that. any help? i'm going to start tanning at a tanning salon soon. i don't want a tan that's way too dark, but i definitely want it to be noticeable. my skin is not pale; it's the skin color that most caucasians have.
i'm going to be smart and wear spray-on sunscreen. if i want to get a noticeable tan while staying safe, what SPF should my sunscreen be? i don't want it to be too low (that would be unhealthy for my skin), so please help. :] (link)

Not to be mean or anything, but ALL tanning is bad for your skin, and tanning booth tanning is actually worse for you than sitting out in the sun, even if you're wearing sunscreen. Just to give you an example, my boss tans ALL winter long, and her skind looks absolutely horrible - she's in her late 30's, but she has leathery skin & enough wrinkles that it makes her look like she's in her 50's. But you could try wearing spf 15, that's what I wear all summer long when I'm out on the lake or in the sun riding my horse.

The thing is I feel like I'm asking him too many questions, and he's always very shy around, which I don't know why b/c I'm a pretty outgoing sort of person. I hang out with anybody and everybody and I always find him sitting by himself.
I want to find out more about him and talk to him but I don't want to make it seem that I'm interested, that might ruin the chances of a great friendship..

What kind of body language does he use around you? Pay attention to this, it could say a lot about how he feels about you. If he's just quiet with not much expression on his face, then he's probably just a shy person in general. But if he looks away from you and smiles at the same time, there's a good chance he might be interested in you. Also, some people just take extra long to feel comfortable enough to open up around other people, so it might be that he just needs time. You could always invite him to do things with you and your other friends, that way there'd be no chance that he'd see it as you trying to hit on him or anything, he'd just see that you're trying to be a friend. Pick activities that maybe don't require you to have to just sit there face to face with him & be forced to try to make conversation. Movies, go-carting, mini golf, bowling, anything like that can be fun as a group, but isn't in too intimate of a setting so he should feel more comfortable.

There is something wrong with my breast.
But I dont know what it is.
My right breast started hurting really bad on Thanksgiving day,but I didnt really think anything of it.
Well Friday and until today it was hurting really really bad.like barely poke it and i wanted to cry.
I was looking at it today and on the inner side (the side furtherest from my right arm pit of my breast.) is pinkish. and really hardish. it doesnt feel like it my left breast which feels perfectly fine.
What could it be?
Should I tell my and get her to make me a doctors appointment?

Ok, please hear me out, and give your honest opinion.
I am a male in high school and am a straight guy. But there is this one kid that I can't get off my mind.
He is a very good looking guy and he's not mean or anything, I just feel like I want to talk to him all the time and be with him. But every time that we talk I feel like I'm the one that keeps starting conversations and he never starts them..
I don't think I 'like' him, I'm not sure.
Like for example, he's a trouble maker but not a bad one, and every time he does something stupid, I'm always the one to look at his gorgeous eyes and smile and his smile is so awesome I can't even describe it. And the way he smiles at me I feel like there's something more.. but I'm not sure. :(
So as I said, I'm not gay, but I just want to bring up this relationship as friends and see where that goes.
How can I get him to talk to me more?
We talk on AIM, Facebook, MySpace, but we end up just running out of things to talk about..
ALSO! How can I get him to talk about his life? Like what can I say to him that will get him talking about himself personally.

Do the two of you have things in common? If you do, that's a good place to start. Ask him questions about himself. Most people like to talk about themselves, so if there is something that you want to know about him, just ask.
Invite him to do things with you, hang out after school or on the weekend. If you do things together, it'll give you another thing to talk about.
You say you're not gay, but you also say that you feel like there may be something more with this guy. Maybe you could be bisexual? There's absolutely nothing wrong with that, I have a lot of friends who realized that they were bisexual when they were around your age. It's something you're born with, not a choice that you make. That doesn't mean that you can't just be friends with this guy though, if that is the case.
AIM/Myspace is a really good place to start, since it gives you extra time to think about how you're going to reply to a person. Talk about music, movies, hobbies. Everyone has some sort of opinion on these things, they have different likes, he'll have something to say.

There was this hair brush i saw when i was at my friends house . It looked like a straightener, But it wasn't. Meaning, it opened and closed like a striaghtener and inside there were brush bristols (it didnt have a cord )and it would help make your hair straight whilee you are blow drying it. We were doing our hair and i tried it out and it worked really good ( it works better on wet hairr ) I want it for christmas but i dont know where she got it and how much it is.

I know that ConAir makes a ceramic straightener that costs about $60, I just saw a commercial for it yesterday, but I can't remember where it said that you could buy one.
They also make a non-ceramic version for much cheaper, like $10 or something.
I would try stores like Target or Ulta (if you have that where you live), or some other specialized hair & makeup store.

Okay so my guy friend missed a call from his fiance today. He didnt realize it until he left my house. She totally freaked out on him and chewed him out because he didnt answer his phone when she called. It upset him because he didnt really see what the big deal was. It was an accident, and he got chewed out over it. I hate to see him upset, and I was just wondering if you all thought that was irrational of her. They kind of have been fighting off and on latley. A couple weeks ago they were arguing and she was all like "well maybe I should just give you the ring back and forget about getting married." (He had told me about his whole fight with her) When they had that fight it really tore him up. I have known him for awhile now and I know that he hardly ever drinks, and that night he had been drinking,so I could tell something was up. When youre engaged and start being petty and fight over missing phone calls and threatening to give back your engagment ring, dont you think you should just end it or what? 99% of the time, its her starting the fight too. This has been goin on for awhile now, and I just want to see what everyones take on this is. I hate seeing my friend so upset over this. He is too nice of a person to be having to deal with this.

She sounds like a control freak to me. He obviously isn't happy right now, and they're not even married yet. Can you imagine how unhappy he's going to be spending the rest of his life with a woman like this? Even though I'm sure he cares about her very much, I think he needs to take a closer look at the situation and think about if he REALLY wants to make a life-long commitment to someone like this or not. If I were him, I would either call off the engagement, or postpone the wedding until they had a chance to get some pre-marriage counceling. You need to be able to see eye-to-eye with your partner about certain things, and that obviously isn't happening in this relationship.

i know everyone hates these, but i really need a song about being hurt, particularly in a relationship/by another person. i broke up with my boyfriend, but it was because he really hurt me.
maybe something saying how everything was perfect, then it was all screwed up so quick.. still feelin the pain and dont know what to do.. i dont know.
