i'm a girl thats 13 and I like a guy alex that is 13. we are friends and sometimes i think he likes me, but he flirts with everyone. We flirt more when our other friends aren't around, but he's not mean to me when we are with our other frineds. I don't want to ruin our friendhip by going out with him. and sometimes I feel like i just want him to like me, and once he does and asks me out ..i'll say no. how do i figure out if i want this for real or am just seeing if he likes me? should i keep flirting with him and see what happens? or should i just keep it as friends and then see what other guys come along?

Sweetie this guy sounds like he's pretty into you and you're pretty into him. You'll never know unless you don't try and you might miss out on something great. If you do go out, you should probably have a talk with him and say 'I hope this doesn't happen anytime soon, but if we do break up, we have to promise each other we will remain good friends'. Chances are if you wait for other guys to come along, you're going to be asking the same question as you are now.

Well on October 11 it has been a year since my grandpa passed away and i am not ready for it at all but i am really scared right now because my grandma feel the other day and broke her hip and nows she in intensive care and they found fluid on her lungs and my grandma said she cant deal with it but i am really not yet ready for her to go i love her and would miss her so much so please everyone pray for her and my Question is how do i deal with this pain cause i have lost 99% of my friends this year?? What should i do??

Sweetie, there is nothing I can do or say that will take the pain away from losing your grandpa and possibly losing your grandpa..but I'll try my best.
Remember all the good times you've had together and the good times you can look forward to with your grandpa [possibly grandma] living within you. Knowing they are always there will ease the pain a bit and bring a sense of comfort. Know that if your grandma does pass away, she is in a better place where she is happier and doesn't hurt anymore. But the best thing is to pray every day, and God will always be looking out for you. There is always a good reason for everything that happens even though it might not be the happiest thing ever.

Hey I really like this guy lets call him "T" ok well T is really sweet has beautiful blue eyes and totally doesnt know i exist. I have a twin brother who is in one of his classes and i always see him in the hall and we sometimes have eye contact and smile but i wouldnt call it flirting. So he know that im Kevins (my brother) twin but he doesnt know my name or anything about me. I know alot about him from my brother but my brother doesnt want to be involved in this. Ive helped him with someting in the class once but we didnt really talk. I dont really have guts to talk to him but I dont know what to do!!!! HELP!!!!!! The sadie hawkins dance is coming up but im way to nerves to ask him what should i do. Thanks!!!

My advice is to go up to him and chat him up. Get to know him a bit, see what he likes. I know this sounds like what everyone TELLS you to do and it won't work but TRUST ME it will. =]. it'll break the ice a bit. and he is probably just as nervous as you are. when you get to know him a bit and are pretty good friends casually say 'yea you know that sadie hawkins dance coming up? yea i dont have a date yet but i thought it would be lots of fun to go together what do you say?'. chances are if you two hit it off well, he most likely will be thrilled to go with you. i mean who wouldnt ;]. but if there is a slight chance he rejects you then just play it off and say 'oh well thats ohkay see you around' and give a smile.

We're both 21, and we've been married two years.

He never listens to anything I say. He'll walk out the door, leave the room, or start yelling about one of his "stock" arguments every time I try to bring up something serious like his spending, driving on a suspended license, or needing to take more responsibility for our toddler.

Even if I think he's listening, and even if he promises to do whatever we've agreed on, he'll go and do the opposite the next time the situation comes up.

It's like he can't be bothered with anything that keeps him from having fun. He's very self centered, and if he upsets me and I start crying at me, he'll yell at me for ruining everyones nice time, or messing up his good day. He won't go to counseling.

I have to stop now, he's pulled up in the drive. Please help me.

he sounds a bit like a control freak everything always having to be his way. if he wont go to counseling or take medicine to help his anger, than maybe its time to call a lawyer and move on to a man who appreciates you for YOU.

someone told me they heard my two friends, lucy and jill, saying really mean stuff about me. they didn't tell me exactly what but said they'd tell me more later because they had to go. i just think this kind of drama is so annoying, and i hate dealing with it. i know everyone talks behind other's backs, but my friend says it was meaner than just the usual stuff. i'm so over it, and this really annoys me. i'm not jumping to conclusions, because i know my friend could be wrong, but she has no reason to lie to me. what should i do?

omg this stuff happens on a daily basis at my school. i say confront lucy and jill with what you know and see what they have to say and see their point of view. and believe me this takes a lot of will power. if they say [in a truthful, convincing way that sounds OK to you] that nothing happened and its all lies than shrug it off. but if it happens again thats just a little more than a coincidence and def. needs to be taken care of. but is the friend that told you this a REALLY good friend? or is it just a so-so, sometimes, whatever kinda friend? if it's the second one they might just be making up crap to make you mad and turn you against your friends to stir up some drama.

my ipod isn't working. its really hard to see but it says stuff like keytest, flashscan, power test, wheel test etc in like really faded letters and its kinda hard to read.. and .. it just stays like that when you try to turn it on. what should i do to fix it?

i suggest taking it to an iPod store closest to you and have a professional look at it. you can also go on apple.com for more help there are some tricks that might be able to get your iPod back to normal.

I got a perm in early august (it was my fourth perm in about 6 years) and it's holding up pretty well, but i am getting tired of it ALWAYS being wavy or curly. I asked my mom if i blowdryed it or straigtened it if it would ruin my perm, and she said it would probably damage my hair a lot and do some damage to my perm. I would only do it once a week at the most, so most of the timeit would still be curly. I have pretty healthy hair too. What do you think?
Also any advice on cute styles i can do with my hair is great!

you could always get your hair cut in layers that frame your face. that's always pretty cute. and you can still keep your perm and have curly layers.

i have some friends who have been through that. my suggestion is to talk to her and ask her why shes doing it. if shes secretive and wont say anything than definately get help. she might be thinking about suicide and i know that you definately DO NOT want that to happen to your g/f. Just let her know if she does say she is going through a rough time that you are always there for her but you don't want her hurting herself to get rid of the pain she is feeling.

I went out with this guy a month ago (lets call him seth)...it was fun but we didnt see each other much outside of school n he started liking this other girl...anyway, we broke up but he asked me out again like a week ago and i said yes...(i never had got over him and my feelings for him hadn't changed)...This time is sooo different because he is really sweet and so much more attentive towards my feelings...Could this be serious? awe. he sounds like a sweetie. my opinion is to not wonder if hes 'the one' or if you are 'the one' for him, just enjoy what you have now and cherish every moment with him. i'm not saying that you or him couldn't be each others but he could always go back to liking another girl, and who knows, you might start to like another guy. My opinion is not to limit yourself to just one person just thinking he is 'the one' but have fun and play the field a little you know, IF you and 'seth' decide its time to see other people.

ok to start i have an acoustic guitar and i love jack johnson at the moment i would love to write my own (first) song or somthing the thing is i have no idea how to start or go about about it i was thinkin get a tune up an runnin or sumin then put lyrics to it later but i cant quite get the tune i have been playin since i was 5 i am 15 now.
so keeping in mind i am an experirienced player but with limmited talent (welll ime not that bad but you get the picture, heh)

i write songs too and play a little guitar and i probably have wayy more limited talent than you lol. it sounds right and its how i layout my songs. to write a reallie great song i spend LOTS of time around friends and family for experiences like drama, love, hate, and so on. My best friend that I met last year...wellll
we arn't that close anymore. Over the summer we were always busy so we couldn't see each other. Now in school she's always hanging out with her friends... I try to get included and talk to her... but it seems like she doesnt want to be around me. I tried talking to her, but she just acts all weird and pretends theres nothing wrong. I feel like we are seperating from each other and I really dont want that to happen. I need advice!

I have had the same problem before too. Friends like that aren't worth having if you're always going to be worried about how they're acting and what they're thinking. My advice is to talk it over with her and see her point of view. If that doesn't work, this friendship might not be worth having anymore. I know that it might be hard to let such a good friend go, but there will be another friend that's way better.
