Well I have been listening to metal for around 5 years now, and I mean serious metal, not pussy metal :P
Like COB, Slayer, In Flames, Behemoth, Slipknot and so on. I hope you get the idea.

the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in the Christian Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem is a very holy place to many Christians, even if a lot of them have never heard of it. its supposedly the site where Jesus Christ was crucified, died, buried and resurrected from the dead. and the whole of Jerusalem is pretty holy really. it also depends on what branch of christianity you talk about tho, like a lot of Protestants and Lutherans wont consider the Vatican to be holy, but to Catholics the Vatican city, home of the Pope is the center of their church, as the Pope is supposedly gods voice on earth.
some holy days are Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent, the 40-day period (not including Sundays) of fasting and repentance leading up to Easter. Easter sunday (celebrated on the first sunday after the first full moon on or after March 21) it celebrates the resurrection of Christ. and the biggest one is Christmas (December 25) which is the celebration of the birth of Christ.
and all sundays are considered to be a day of worship, and are when most people go to Church.

ok so my little 4 month old puppy has worms i dont have enough money to take her to a vet...im 16 i told my rents but there not doing anything about it.. and everynight like she sleeps with me and i wake up and on my bed were like.. little things that looked like red rice??? what are those they wernt moving and they dont look like worms but i know there coming from her what are they? are they actually rice sized pellets? because ive never heard of anything that big, but i know flea droppings look like little red pellets. i suppose it could be from ticks too. i really don't know, you may have to take them to a vet yourself. try looking online for free animal clinics in your area, there may be someone that can help depending on where you live. if not and you fear for the health of you dog, if he starts getting sick you you really should take him into a humane animal shelter. you'll have to give him up if you do that, but at least he'll get the treatment he needs.

to put it simply: no lockers, more work, harder classes, teachers don't care if you fail.
also it costs a lot of money, but you need to do it if you want a good job.
there are fun things about it tho, mostly new friends, which really aren't that hard to make. Being educated really is rewarding.

My son eats and eats and eats. I feed him only healthy food, like fruits, veggies, whole grain wheat, beans, tofu etc. This is all fine and dandy that he eats so much because he is really healthy, but the problem is he stuffs it all into his mouth at once. if I cut his food up in tiny bite size pieces, he shovels is all in until its pouring out of his mouth . I'm afraid he will choke, but I don't neccessarily want to sit there with him and give him his food piece by piece. does anyone know why he eats like that, and how I can slow him down without feeding him piece by piece? He is 17 months old. I am also afraid that when he gets older he will be overweight because he really will eat everything in sight, the other day we went out for breakfast and he ate more than me and his dad. He's just a little guy! We (his parents) are both fit and healthy and not overweight, but I've never seen a kid with such an appetite! (link)

sounds like an average teenage boy to me. i could pack away alot when i was his age, as could all of my brothers. (i have five of them)
my mother would always just yell at us to take smaller bites because at times it almost turned into contests to see who can fit the most into their mouths. im pretty sure its something biological, back from the time when cave teens had to fight over the mammoth meat, just grab all that you can. lol
i think siting him down to show him good table manners couldn't hurt, he needs to learn them if he's ever going to impress a dinner date he can eat like a starved wolf. show him what size his bites should be, and that he should chew and swallow each one before putting taking another bite. tell him ahead of time that he can only have desert if he eats like a gentleman.

ok i need help all my life i've never gotten bigger never grown a booty i stayed skinny all my life i eat more than many of the "thicker" girls but i still dont gain weight im tired of people calling me anorexic and skinny mini and people passing judgement on me because of my size im 14 and im a size 3 i have really nice and thick thighs but no legs or booty help!! at 14 i don't think you need to worry about it, most girls i know didn't start filling out until they were 16-18, and even then some took longer. my point is don't try to just gain weight now, because in a few years you may get some without even trying, then you'll be bigger than you wanted and have a whole new problem.
and a girl being "slim" has never made me or any other man think she was unattractive(usually quite the opposite), so you need to stop worrying about it so much. ^_^

well other than waiting i don't think there's a lot you can do.
another thing to consider is that with most people(but not every one) hair only grows to a certain length. its very possible that when you were a child you had long hair simply because you were a lot shorter. if so your hair still has the genetic code to grow only a certain length, so now that your taller, you neck and back are both longer, it may not reach as far as is did before.
but then again maybe you just need to wait longer. sorry if i wasn't much help here. :P

My six year old son is spitting on people in school. He has had referrals, reprimands, and recess taken away. At home we are punishing him by grounding him and putting him to bed after dinner. He is on the verge of losing a field trip and baseball.
What can I do to make him quit this disgusting habit?

i used to spit when i was little too, one thing the teacher did when he got fed up with it was give me a small paper cup and set me in the corner, saying that if i like to spit so much i can fill the cup.
it got me kind of tired of spitting pretty fast, especially knowing that if i got caught it was back to the corner.

Well im kind of scared about my feet right now. haha yes, my feet. my right foot is like white and its cold and it hurts, like it burns. it kind of feels like icy hot is inside my foot. everybody told me its just bad circulation, and my mom has a circulation problem in her hands that does that. is this something i should worry about? how can i make it stop, because its burning. (not like i need to see a doctor immediatly burning so dont worry) its just annoying. any advice or information would be very much appreciated :) (link)

i now people hate hearing this, but really the best idea with something like that is to go to the doctor. it may just be bad circulation, OR it could be something MUCH more serious. it may be no fun but its better than figuring out what's wrong after they have to amputate. (don't think thats not a possibility, amputations happen a lot more than most people assume.)

im nineteen years old and i weigh around 120. i know thats the healthy weight for my age and height, but i am fat. like i have a big stomache, love handles, and big thighs. if i could get some wieght off then that would be great. are there certain foods i can eat a lot of that will speed up the process? thanks so much (link)

ive seep people getting very good results going vegetarian or even vegan. i suggest getting your self a vegetarian cook book and preparing most of your meals from that (it doesn't mean you cant sneak something tasty every now and again tho.) and starting on a good aerobic exercise like jogging, something that gets the blood pumping will burn off fat well and help to tone you up. hope i helped a bit. ^_^

Hello, i'm here to look for some advice. This morning I was getting the clothes off of my daughter's bed and under the pillow I found a hollowed out book. I'm confused, and have no idea why in the world she would want a hollowed out book. There was nothing in it, but she could have taken something out. I smelled inside for suspision of drugs but it just smelled like a book. She is 13 and has always been a good girl but I don't understand this. Please answer! (link)

could be drugs, but i doubt it. when i was a kid i hollowed out a couple books because i saw it in a movie and thought it was cool. (same reason my brother cut off all the fingers to his gloves.)
my little sister did the same thing nearly 10 years later, also for no good reason.
id say if your worried about drugs tho don't ask her about it, she may be a good kid but if it is drugs i doubt she would tell you. if you want to find out just put it back where you found it and check it every now and again to see what she puts in there. sure its a little snoopy, but shes your kid and its your right as a parent.

well if your looking to cut down fast get a vegetarian cook book, and start a daily hour long aerobic work out, such as jogging or bicycle riding. it has to be something where your in constant motion and building up a sweat.
if however your not i so much of a hurry you can just control you diet to exclude fatty foods and carbs and start with low impact workouts, like walking.

I went running with a friend a couple of days ago, and I got goose bumps, then my skin kind of became numb, and I started getting weird small 'lumps' on the surface of my forearms. Why did this happen? Is it because I'm used to being inside a heated house most of the time? I was wearing capri workout pants, and my legs began to turn red and started to chafe. I was wearing a plain tshirt, and noticed the bumps on there. This happened when I was went into the cold water in the beach. Is this normal? (link)

probably just from working out, but it couldn't hurt to get an allergy test if you haven't had one already.
(ok i lied, allergy tests do hurt a little, but they do more good than harm) ^_^

well it looks like your seeking religion. its always a good thing, despite what the majority believe about people that do believe in something.
picking the right one can be hard tho, especially if you haven't had much religion in your life before now. i looked at all sorts of things in my youth and couldn't find anything that really sparked my interest. Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, and the simple midwest christianity i had grown up with all seemed unappealing.
i had all about given up but a months ago i had some emotional distress that sent me back looking for answers, and this time i looked closer to home than i had been before, i went back to reading about christianity and he different variations of it, and when reading about Catholicism i found my profound spark. much more simple than i thought it was going to be, i thought i would get some grand sign to show me what to do, but all that it took was a simple well known Catholic prayer that i had never heard, not being Catholic myself.
the lords prayer:
Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.

that simple little prayer actually got to me, i know its silly but i cried when i read it. it got me looking at other prayers, Hail Mary, and the Prayer of the Rosaries, and i just kept finding it all beautiful, and i decided right there that its the religion for me.
i don't know what the right religion will be for you, thats something you have to figure out on your own, but i wish you the best of luck,and god bless. ^_^

This pertains to a school trip which is why I put it in this category.
So, on Wednesday, I leave for Chicago. We will be there through Monday for a national competition.
It's supposed to snow, but since I live in LA, I don't have much experience with snow. I know that it's frozen water, but if it lands on my hair, will it ruin my straightening?
I need to know stuff like this, haha.
Will the weather dry out my skin?

well i have no idea what happened, but if its something your that worried about im betting it was something bad. talk to a teacher or counselor about it, even if it feels like snitching reporting them is the better thing to do. even if it wasn't something that serious you may be at least able to get some advice on how to handle the situation should it happen again. but if it was very bad don't hesitate to report them, its the only way to get it to stop.

17/f, I really really like this boy who is in one of my classes at school.
We're both in our last year of high school.
And anyway the thing is that I've only just noticed him and I've never spoken to him before.
I am heaps scared of talking to him mainly because I wouldn't know what to say.
I don't want any stupid things like "nice shirt" or whatever, we wear uniforms at our school. And nothing about an assignment we're doing or something coz I could just ask one of the girls I sit with about it. I need a real reason to go and ask him or talk tohim about something rather than anyone else I could ask or talk to in the class.
And also none of my friends know him or his friends.

well your both in your last year, so how about asking him something like, "so what are your plans for this summer?", "what college are you thinking about going to?", or "what are you planning to do when we get out of school?"
nice simple stuff that he will likely have and answer for.
of course if you really really like him you could always just ask him if he's single. its a bit direct but gets the point across that your interested.
