Hello I am 13 years old and is going out with this really, really sweet guy. But now hes getting too attached and between us is getting a bit awkward now. I want to be just friends with him because whenever I hang around him we talk to each others like we were just mates. I mean now I love him but only in a friend way. And I tried breaking up with him and asked if we could just be friends but he didn't want it that way because he loves me a lot (which makes me feel HEAPS guilty). well, Tell him that you think he loves you in a sister-type-way and that you like him but not all that much ( don't say that- say it nicer) but that you can talk as much and hang out with you as muh as when you were bf-gf and also, dont mention the other guy unless he gets over his crush or something

I met this guy, and i liked him alot. we went to homecoming and it was pretty weird, neither of us talked much. i started to wonder if that feeling i got when i was with him was nervousness (which is good,) or being uncomfortable (which is bad.) today he asked me to go to the movies with him this weekend, and i said "sure," but now im pretty sure its a feeling of uncomfortable. when we talk online its great, but in person... there is no attraction and i think i might actually find him a bit needy and unattractive. besides, there is a age difference (im 14, hes 17)

well, i think that you should talk about girls he likes and if he happens to get uncomfortable it's probably because he likes you. Maybe he loves as a sister and feels attached and just thinks you're great to talk with. If not, just give him the sign your not interested but that you love being his sign.

I have been growing my hair out so I can donate it to Locks of Love for over a year now. It is finally 10 inches from where i want it cut and I am excited about getting it cut. I want it about shoulder length. I need to get it thined out because my hair is really thick. Does anyone have any siggestions for the style and everything? I cant dye my hair by the way. how can i make the girls for crazy for me i would really like it im not the kind of person to go for lots but theres just this one .. that drives me crazy .. i think about her at the most unexpected times. at the store, the other week when i almost got in a car acident alls i could think about is her.. and in p.e. for school when i run.. its a hard run about a 15km so i think if i run the whole thing she will be there at the end and be proud of me so it keeps me going .. well i might be crazy but its only for her .. please help ive liked her for 4 years now .. an on and off relationship from going out to friends .. she says i get attachted to fast.. what can i do ?

i think you should tell her that you like her. its real hard but it sounds like you are going crazy for her. if she dosen't like you back don't be crushed cause sometimes girls relize things about who they like as easy as guys do. or it's harder to say what they feel. Dont wait for her to come to you because it migt become too late

I have two cousins, a boy who is 12 and a girl who is 14. Their parents wont get a divorce but they hate each other and are both alcoholics and smoke, but refuse to get help. When their dad comes home, which he only does about twice a week, he screams at their mom (Who is usually drunk at the time.) and at my cousins. Normally, he throws and breaks things.
This past week I've been having terrible dreams and waking up sweating in the night. I remember parts of them, but in one of them their dad had just walked in and was already screaming at my aunt and my cousins. He began to get very angry and threw things at my aunt, who was crying. Then he went over to my cousins and started yelling at them. He was hitting them and throwing things at them. They were both screaming and crying.
In another dream, he had locked my aunt in a room and left her there. He then got a gun and found my cousins. I remember there was a shooting sound or something, but then I woke up.
The dreams seem so real. I've been at my cousin's house before when my uncle has been drunk and screaming and throwing things so that makes it even more real because I know he can do those things when he's angry and drunk.
I'm scared that he might actually do something that could really hurt them. I don't know what to do. I want the dreams to stop and to know that my cousin's are safe. They wont answer their phone.
Is there some way that I can stop these dreams and/or find out if they are okay or not? (link)

Well recently i went to this church event and this guy in my youth group was talking to me a whole lot the entire night. Im not able to go to youth group every wednesday night because of work but when i do get the chance to go he is always like heyy i havent seen you in forever how have you been?! At this event he came and sat right next to me and started to talk to me. Or i was sitting down and he was standing behind me and he like leaned his head over and was like heyyy.
Now yes it hasnt been long since i started to like him kinda.Maybe like 2weeks.
Now heres the problem hes 15and a sophmore in highschool and Ill be 18 this week and a senior in highschool.
Its not an actually question but i need some advice on what you think i should do.

For my idea, I doubt many of mcdonalds are healthy. If you only want the stickers ask people to collect them for you. Even though it sounds wierd, its worth a try!

Okay where do I start?.. Umm well I've always been a very good student, in fact since the 7th grade I've been in Nt'l Junior HOnor Society. Up until this year, I've been exceedingly good in all of my classes, getting no less than an 80 in my classes. However, I've been regressing. In fact, I got a 73 on my progress report!! ANd I do my hoemwork every single day. I haven't really been paying attention as well as I used to but I just feel so0o out of it. I don't knwo what to do, because now that I'm in Hgih school I want to do REALLY well. I need help...anyone?!

School will always have its troubles. Try to figure out if there is anything thats pulling you away (a.k.a.~ love to talk. some guy/girl, a teacher, a class, etc...) Just by reading your letter I can tell your smart. YOu're parents could always help or you could consider asking your teacher to move you if it has to do with consentration. without knowing why your struggling its hard to give advice. If your new to high school, maybe you just need time to get used to it.

15/f. okay this may seem like a weird question but i'm all stressed out about this. i'm getting my braces off on december 28th. currently i have a fake tooth attached to my braces so that the space doesn't close. after i get my braces off i'm going to get a permanent tooth put in their by my dentist. but the problem is that my orthodontist told me that when they take my braces off they will attach a fake tooth to my retainer so the space doesn't close up. at first i thought this was a good idea, but now i'm changing my mind. i realized that once i take my retainer out for lunch at school people will notice that suddenly i don't have a tooth where i did before. and then i'll but it back in and viola! a tooth. won't that we really weird? one second i'll have a tooth and then another i won't.
what can i do? is there anyway for their not to be a tooth attached to my retainer? oh and the tooth is the one right next to my front teeth on the top so it is really noticable.

Depending on what grade you are in, people should not notice your "re-attachable tooth". you should tell your closest friends or the people you sit around about it. this way, they won't stare at you and you won't feel so mortified. You could always take it out and put it back in in a place where no one would be looking. Im sure no one would notice anyways!!!
